Such a simple but sweet concept, dangerous but I love it… quality at viable prices.. what’s not to love.

I cancelled my membership but it somehow was never actioned-my annual membership carried on and I was debited with a further £120.

A simple email to Winedrops resulted in Glenda in Customer Services sorting out the oversight and issuing a credit for all the monies.

Absolutely first class customer service from the team.

FB presented me with what appeared to be a good offer for a nice red wine. I clicked on through and approved payment via credit card. However, I was immediately notified that I had to go through an age verification process . . . and to do that I had to download the app. Age check was acceptable, but the download app instruction started to make me suspicious.
True enough, when I got on the app I was not directed to any verification, but simply shown more wine offers. When I tried to find the age check, I discovered (buried away on my profile) that I would be charged £118 for membership in a few days’ time. It was the first I had heard of it.
I’ve now cancelled/deleted everything from Winedrop and have my fingers crossed that I won’t be charged for the wine (which they say they can’t deliver because I failed to complete age verification) and the membership (which I have not approved).
Disappointed and v angry.

My order arrived and half the order was replaced with cheap supermarket bottles e.g. 19 crimes and a cheap pinot noir. Not the bottles advertised in the bundle (with higher RRPs)

Their advertising is pretty flashy and professional. Looks like some good wines as well............BUT it's
I read their website to understand what their offer was and they are not open and honest.
I ordered 2 cases of 6 and about to pay but was puzzled when there was no postage cost. I reduced my basket to 2 bottles to see if it was free based on quantity but still no charge. Red Flag - how can they do this. I still thought Id order as free cancellation after 3 days, right? Then I decided to check reviews.

Very sneaky business model. Further research revealed - you don't get the wine after "paying" - it can be a few weeks. They don't mention this! Also you can't try some wine then cancel as they imply on their marketing. 3 days cooling off - most consumer rights based cooling off periods are 14 days so is that even legal/compliant. It sounds like they have a tortuous cancellation process. Also they don't mention you probably need to be drinking quite a lot of £25 and upwards wine to "break even". Sharp practice. I'd rather get my wine from a firm I felt I could trust.

So far the wine I received have been absolutely delicious
