I never subscribed to anything in the first instance, I was only ask to pay £1 to be able to contact landlord and thereafter they tried to debit £35 from my account saying its subscription, then I went back to the site to cancel subscription, but I still got debited even after cancellation. Their phone number is fake and they don’t respond and I’m wondering how they are still allowed to operate.Refund my money immediately or I am taking this up legally and I don’t care how much it will cost me to bring this scammers to book.
Added: To further show how untrustworthy and fraudulent they are, they have comeback to me after 6 months requesting for ridiculous information to solve the issue. Do not trust them they are fake and FRAUDULENT!

They are still scammers
They are still scammers! The 1 euro deal was enticing! I fell for it. So here's how it went for me. They gave me an option to register through google- which I did. Next day I tried to log in through google, and they would not let me log in. The only way was to make a new account again!! I was so stupid for doing so, because they are now charging me twice a month!!! And cancelling is not possibble because they simply keep throwing an error at me every time I try to log in. The site itself is useless as well even if you do get in. Every time you try to set a filter- error. Every time you try to answer to the listing- error.
If you encountered a similar issue, go to your email, when you signed up using your google account they sent you an email with your details- click on "get started" and you'll be able to get into your account and cancel the subscription. That is literally the only way to access your account after you have made it. If you happened to make an account multiple times- find both emails and do that for both, they will shamelessly take your money multiple times from your bank.

My house is advertised on rentola, however, not for rent…. I’ve reported the scam, but no response. Even after a few weeks. I had a woman coming by my house to check it out. Horrible service and very likely you will be scammed via the platform.

Their incompetency will make you laugh- it's so bad! I registered and paid TWICE and absolutely no functionality was available to me- the team assured me they are looking into it, nothing happened. I started receiving invoices then threats with debt collectors even though I made them delete my account. I never post reviews so this had to be horrible for me to do so

Taking advantage of desperate people
Scam!! I made an account a few months ago and canceled my subscription. Didn’t get a cancellation notice found out they were still charging me after i kept refunding it they threatened me with legal action , i got scared so i paid for that one. I then emailed them that i wanted my account deleted then cuz i thought after i paid everything was settled. They said they deleted it, thought it was finally over, until i realized i got charged again a month later, after refunding that I got angry and emailed them again asking, why im still getting charged? They responded with “they will investigate and need this and that from me screenshots from the receipt” then they made up a story about me having signed up accidentally with a different account thats why im still getting charged and i need to pay 3 more times for that account cuz the invoices where unpaid. I immediately block them from my bank.

Rentola is a scam and scammed me
Rentola is a scam in my honest opinion. It seemer good at first. Paid 1 Euro for a subscription. Then when i wanted to cancel it i couldnt log in into my account so o contacted customer service which by the way says its always available 24/7. They never responded to me and i kid you not a few hours after i sent the message to customer care i got deducted 39 euros on my account for literally nothing!!!! Before my due date which was 3 days later. They told me i had another account on their other website using the same email which technically shouldn't be possible if its 1 website all together. I emailed them for a refund.
Back and forth they said they cant help me unless i provide sufficient evidence and proof like a screenshot. I told them i didnt take a screenshot because who i their right mind would've and i thought i had more time. I told them i contacted customer care and the proof is with them. They then told me unless i show them proof of that aswell, they cant refund then they proceeded to remind me that i agreed to their terms and conditions to the subscription which made this none refundable!
They literally are a scam because they just redirect you to another website or another platform for you to also find that you have to pay a subscription for that one aswell!
I literally have just sent them proof that i emailed customer service but i know they won't refund my money!
Trust me.
Don't even think of trying it. Its trash! Wasted money on this! Stole my money!

don’t even bother
I have been bothered by rentola through Intrum for a few times now about paying an outstanding invoice which is completely unreasonable. I started my free trial subscription on the 19th of October. After 14 days of the free trial turns into a subscription of 39€. As I didn’t like the platform I cancelled the subscription in November. And they insist on me paying now 80€ of the outstanding invoice? They take advantage of the vulnerable apartment seekers all the time, many others have also said they got charged crazy amounts. I dont reccomend it at all, the page is also not worth the money, you get the same information without subscription. In the end I didnt find anything there anyways.
