Due to the fact we were moving from Scotland, we needed support to align the sales conveyance managed by our Scottish legal team, with our purchase conveyance in England. The team provided prompt and professional support to keep the two different processes in sync and running to a tight deadline. My ex-partner instructed this firm to deal with a transfer of equity, and although I am not their client, I am directly involved in the matter and have been significantly affected by the way it has been handled.

The transfer of equity has been ongoing since April, with very little apparent progress. The lack of communication and urgency has been extremely frustrating. I have been left waiting, chasing for information and unclear about what is actually happening with the matter.

For something involving a property and significant financial/legal implications, I would expect a much more professional, organised and proactive service. Instead, the whole process has felt unnecessarily drawn out and stressful.

From my experience of dealing with them, the service has been extremely disappointing. I would not recommend this firm based on the way this matter has been handled. They absolutely don’t know what they doing. Avoid , avoid and avoid. Absolutely unprofessional they don’t understand nothing at all.

We used Robert Crossley’s online services to sell two properties for probate and dealt with Jonathan Davey. I was very wary of using an online solicitor but we have had absolutely no issues at all from start to finish. Every time I called, the phone was answered immediately by Jonathan himself. Emails were responded to promptly and professionally. Completed today. What a breath of fresh air this has all been at a difficult time! I have used this company both when I bought my house and when I have sold it and bought my new one. I have been extremely happy with the service received. Ben is efficient, courteous and replies to emails within the set period of time. There were four sets of people in my 'chain' and at all times I felt Ben was leading this - we seemed always to be ahead! It went through a lot quicker than I'd expected and very smoothly.
