The entire Symphonic team, and Miguel
in particular, have been incredibly helpful,
responsive, and professional throughout
this whole process. Every question was
answered quickly and clearly, which made
a huge difference as a first-time artist
navigating the music industry.
I'm really glad I chose Symphonic —
the customer service alone sets them
apart. Highly recommend!
I appreciate the customer support I receive from Symphonic Distribution. I also value the additional services they continue to add to my membership.
Dear Team,
I submitted request 763483. I received a reply asking for confirmation, which I provided; however, the subsequent response repeated the exact same question from the previous email—as if they simply copy-pasted it without actually paying attention to my request. I need your help with this.
Regards, Jackez Rosario.
The Symphonic Client Relations team provided outstanding support during a complex copyright dispute. They were professional, responsive, and incredibly fast at protecting our intellectual property once we provided our distribution data. It is highly reassuring to deal with a support team that genuinely respects original creators and acts quickly to resolve issues. Exceptional service!
My email was answered in less than an hour. My questions were answered in great detail. Very professional and understanding. Five stars for sure !!
The customer support has always been great, even though I haven't had a one on one experience with any support person, they've always done a great work, besides releasing my music through symphonic has been as easy as it could be.

They are wonderful. I am truly grateful for the care and attention they have always shown me. They have helped me improve my cover artwork to strengthen my project’s branding, they usually approve my releases quickly, and whenever I have experienced an issue, their team has assisted me efficiently.
The only suggestion I would make is to improve the support system a little for Spanish-speaking users. Even so, I am very satisfied with the service and sincerely believe that Symphonic is an excellent distributor.
Thank you very much for everything.
This is one of the worst companies I've dealt with. It takes them forever to get anything done, their customer service is practically non existent, if you are starting out, you will not qualify for any of their offerings. They do not collect and distribute your royalties properly and you will lose a lot of royalties down the drain. Find another company that can distribute your music if you want customer service and all the royalties you are entitled to, DON'T TRUST THIS COMPANY!
Edit: I love how you can't process my music submission edits in over a week, and it took several days to process my takedown requests, but a bad review? You are on it like hot cakes. Pathetic!

I had never to do with such professional stuff, and I have to say, I am surprised what is possible in these days. Everything works proper, some little troubles I had were clarified within hours!
There are some funny translation errors in the german skin, but not dramatic. I skipped back to engl. - all fine.
Thanks to Symphonic and support for your product and your work! Keep going on!!
I have used this distributor professionally to manage a catalog of several hundred releases, and I cannot recommend it for anyone building a serious label or music business.
First, updates to already published releases (metadata changes, corrections, etc.) can take over a month to be processed correctly. This is unacceptable in a professional environment where updates need to be fast and reliable.
Second, features such as Spotify Discovery Mode are extremely limited. It cannot be applied on a per-release basis, but only globally across the entire account, which makes it impossible to run differentiated marketing strategies across a catalog.
Overall, the platform is very limited in terms of management tools. There are very few real options for catalog control, organization, or promotion, making it unsuitable for labels or distributors looking to scale professionally.
However, the most serious issue is how account incidents and reviews are handled. In my case, the account was suspended immediately following a single issue involving one release, resulting in the entire dashboard being blocked and all royalties across the catalog being withheld. Documentation requests were handled quickly, but the review and resolution process has been extremely slow, leaving the business completely paralyzed for days without a clear timeline or response.
While I understand that security policies are necessary, the lack of transparency, absence of clear resolution timelines, and the impact on an entire catalog make this service unreliable for running a serious music business.
For these reasons, I do not recommend this distributor for record labels, aggregators, or anyone looking to build a professional structure in the music industry.
Update:
It has now been more than ten days with my account completely disabled, right at the end of the month, when every artist expects to receive their royalties.
Following a single isolated incident, my entire dashboard has been locked, leaving me without access to any of its features. Ironically, the company was much faster, more detailed, and more professional in responding publicly to my review than in resolving my support case. After more than ten days, despite providing all the requested documentation and explanations, I am still waiting for a resolution.
From my perspective, it feels like the company is more concerned with its public image than with honoring the commitment it should have to a customer who has trusted and used the platform for years.
This situation has only reinforced everything I wrote above. I stand by every point in my original review even more strongly now.
I cannot recommend this distributor to any label, business, or professional looking for a reliable long-term partner.

Symphonic has been a great partner for independent music distribution. The platform is easy to use, the delivery to streaming services is fast and reliable, and the support team is responsive and helpful whenever needed. It offers solid tools for artists and labels to manage releases and grow their audience effectively. Overall, a professional and trustworthy service for anyone serious about releasing music independently.
I've had a great experience with Symphonic Distribution so far. Their support team has always been professional, friendly, and quick to respond. They helped me with several metadata corrections, artist profile updates, and other release-related questions, always keeping me informed throughout the process.
What I appreciate most is that they don't just send generic replies—they actually take the time to understand the issue and provide clear solutions. As an independent artist, having a reliable support team makes a huge difference, and Symphonic has consistently exceeded my expectations.
I highly recommend them to any artist looking for a distributor with outstanding customer service and a professional approach.

I researched a number of companies for my music distribution. While I write all my own lyrics, I use Suno AI for creating the music/vocals for my demos. Because of that, only Distrokid and Symphonic met my needs. The only other company that came close, was LANDR, but that company had unacceptable, restrictive policies and would not refund me even though I never actually used their services.
Symphonic was hard to use in the beginning. Their policies draw lines-in-the-sand that require you to meet what are only recommendations from the streaming companies. They require .wav files for your music, rather than otherwise acceptable .mp3 files. They require you to first, list your song with no specific genre or version, rather than allow you to list by what you use to organize your music. They are very picky!
However, once you get used to them, Symphonic is fast in getting your music out--comparably to Distrokid. Symphonic is much cheaper than Distrokid, has much better analytics, and has much broader distribution than Distrokid. While Distrokid has the most user friendly release posting system, Symphonic comes in as a close second.
If Symphonic wasn't so picky about submissions, I would have rated them higher. However, in any event, I rate them highest among all the services I reviewed. They are especially good for users like me that depend on AI for music demo production. If that's you too, go to Symphonic for your music distribution!

Thank you for your response.
First of all, I did not receive any message from your Trust & Safety team before or after my account was terminated. Other than the termination notice, I have not received any detailed explanation regarding my case.
I appreciate that you have policies to protect DSPs and the integrity of digital music platforms. However, my concern remains that I still have not received enough information to understand the reason for my account termination.
I used Symphonic for more than two years and released approximately 1,000–1,500 songs through the platform. Before my account was terminated, my royalty dashboard had not been updated for nearly three months, and my catalog typically generated around 20–25 million YouTube Content ID video uses per month.
I respectfully request clarification on the following:
Which specific releases or activities led to the termination?
What is the status of my outstanding royalties and YouTube Content ID earnings?
Why had my royalty dashboard not been updated for approximately three months before the account was closed?
If you have decided to terminate my account, I will accept your decision and will not use your service again in the future. However, I respectfully request that you pay any royalties that are legitimately due under our agreement.
Based on my dashboard history, the royalties for April, May, and June had not yet been updated before my account was terminated. I estimate these pending royalties to be approximately US$250–700. If these earnings are valid and payable under our agreement, I kindly ask that they be processed and paid.
I am not asking you to disclose confidential information publicly. I am simply requesting sufficient information to understand the decision and to ensure that any legitimate outstanding royalties are handled correctly.
I remain willing to cooperate and provide any information necessary to resolve this matter fairly.
Hello Symphonic Team,
I would like to sincerely thank you for the outstanding support you provided.
Your assistance was truly exceptional: fast, professional, and extremely helpful throughout the entire process. It is rare to receive such a high level of customer service, and I greatly appreciate the time and effort your team dedicated to resolving my issue.
Thank you once again for your superlative support. It has been a pleasure working with your team, and I look forward to continuing to use Symphonic for my future releases.
Best regards,

Shocking distributor! Take weeks to review any release submitted unless you pay £15 for their "fast track" service. Then rejected releases over the most craziest of things, from mix names, to artwork and latest one because we had an Ai vocal on a cover track!!! Do not respond to comaplaints or try to solve issues. A total nightmare and now in process of having to move all our catalogue to another distributor! Stay clear if you want a smoother and more supportive partnership.
I Left Distrokid 3 Years Ago And Went To Symphonics Because Distrokid Customer Service Didn’t Exist. Anytime I Needed Any Help Fixing Anything I Wouldn’t Even Get A Response, Plus They Would Charge Me An Entire New Artist For Collaborating With Other Artist. However With The Symphonics Switch I Get A Lower Price Per Year No Hidden Fees And The Customer Service Is Always On Point. They Help Me With So Many Things. Linking Accounts To My Music, Merging Multiple Accounts, Getting My YouTube Topic Page Music To Go Directly To My Actual YouTube, And Much More. I Also Manage 6 Other Artist And I’m Able To Be An Admin On Those Accounts To Handle Business When They Are Unable To. I Can Release Music For Them, Make Edits To Release, Fix Payroll, And Submit Request On There Behave. Only Change I Would Make Is To Allow People To Set The Up To 5 Primary Artist That Are Allowed. That Way The Song Are Released On All The Artist And Producers That Are On That Body Of Work! Other Than That They Have Been Awesome And I Take Advantage Of There Referral Program.
