I only wish I had read the reviews before ordering. The UK web address is misleading. I noted that The Netherlands is listed as part of the supply chain with China. The delivery time was much longer than I expected, and the China element explains that. I have just opened the parcel to discover that the straw sunhat is made from 100% paper. The shape is not as represented in the online photograph and being made of paper, means it cannot be steamed into shape. Having read other customers experiences in returning the item at own cost, I am not even going to put myself through that, and have written off the whole sorry experience. Avoid at all cost.

A very disappointing experience with Mayfair and Finch
I ordered from Mayfair and Finch what was described on the website and on my order as a linen shirt. The shirt I received as made from polyester and was low quality. When I contacted Mayfair and Finch to arrange for a return and complete refund I was told that under the company's terms of trade I would have to return the shirt to China and pay the cost of the return myself. The alternative was to receive a refund of 20% of the initial cost and to keep the shirt, which in view of the cost of sending the shirt to China I decided to do - the shirt will be given to a charity shop. When I complained that the shirt was made of polyester not linen I was told that information on one place of the website described the shirt as 'linen style' although it was described as linen elsewhere. Mayfair and Finch seem to give misleading information on their website, the item delivered to me was poor quality and the refund policy is very poor.

Not linen, cheap & nasty
I have waited patiently for my order of 'linen' shorts to arrive. Its taken over two weeks. They have just turned up. They are not linen. They are a disgusting, thin, see through material which feels horrible to touch. If held up to the light you can see through both layers! The fit is awful. They cost around £30 and from the images on the site I feel very misled as to the look and feel of them. I'd say they are a really cheap cotton at best. Just awful. I've requested a refund but unfortunately I didn't check their policy and I have to pay for them to be returned. By their estimate this is £15 - 25. So I'm seriously out of pocket. I'm not even sure I can be bothered. I feel completely scammed by this company and would never use them again. £30 wasted. I would highly recommend no one else uses them. How can they be allowed to continue to trade?

I ordered some shorts which were terrible quality and then had to ship them back to china! The website looked quite slick at a glance but actually is probably AI generated. During the returns process they try to persuade you to keep the item with a 20% refund and 50% towards your next purchase

BEWARE - misleading site! Strap line when I was looking said “Always hassle free 30 day returns”, but a review of the returns policy says you need approval from customer service before you get the return address and it has to be returned to China at the customers cost. Sounds like a hassle to me. If the site misleads like this then expect to be mislead all round and avoid!!

Dress is nothing like the pictures, it’s hideous. It was meant to be a midi dress the thing that arrived was down to the floor (I’m 5ft 6”). These dresses come from china which is not clear till it’s shipped. Absolute scam!

I placed an order for my wife exactly one month ago and it’s still not here.
They refuse to issue a refund and state that the parcel has to be delivered before one will be considered.
Meanwhile Ive paid for an item that seemingly will never arrive.
It’s also very suspicious that most, if not all the positive reviews of this woefully inadequate business are from people that have only ever made one review.
I suspect they’re fake.
Don’t give them your business.
