Good service. The delivery is good.

I went into the Shanklin branch looking for an electric food steamer. The staff on the counter said there were none. Returning home, I ordered one online asking to pick it up from the Shanklin branch. It arrived the next day, which was fantastic, but I would not have purchased from you if my husband hadn't suggested checking your online ordering system. I was surprised that your staff had not checked whether there was one in the warehouse and offered to get it delivered.

Home delivery unexpected. Put out a scarce tin of paint for collection. Dave at Shanklin an extremely helpful chap!

Very helpful member of staff, as usual, and as always a great price on the ironmongery that I was looking for. Additionally I was looking for over 50 of the same parts and when I saw there were only half a dozen on the shelf I asked and in no time the staff member had disappeared to another area and returned with the very number I needed. Rare and enjoyable local friendly feel to a very well stocked store.

Once the order was placed, I was informed of a delivery date and time. Unfortunately I had another appointment on the same day. Not a problem, I had emailed my change of delivery info, and was assured this would be done. On arrival back home to collect my items everything was correct. I am very pleased with the attention to detail etc. Many thanks.

I placed an order for dessert knives which unfortunately had to be cancelled due to restrictions with knives being shipped using the usual delivery method. Following a conversation with Carl to explain that their company is seemingly the only company in the UK who has these knives and they were all I needed to complete the set Carl arranged for the knives to be posted via Royal Mail’s Age Verification service. All this happened over 2 days so couldn’t have been dealt with any more professionally or any quicker.
Big thanks to Carl for being so helpful and providing gold star customer service which was very much appreciated.

Great delivery service, very helpful in putting my bags of compost in my wheelbarrows for me.

Website easy to navigate. This time I wanted items for the garden. I struggle to lift more than 40 litres of garden compost and local garden centres charge for delivery. Hursts delivered for free within two days of ordering as I had topped up to minimum order with other garden products. The driver was friendly and helpful. Excellent service
