I received my table today after a long wait, but it was clearly a returned, used item. It has old wear and tear, as well as sauce marks on the side—yet it was neatly packed in a plastic bag and outer packaging!
When I spoke to customer services, they told me to either dispose of it myself or wait 12 hours for the delivery company to pick it up, which is what I want them to do. I cannot understand how a company can not only send someone their rubbish, but also expect the customer to deal with all the inconvenience. I am sure they will reply to justify their actions, but it can't get any worse than this for someone who paid for a brand new table.
I certainly won't be back to MP!
