It did take a while for the item to get here, but the service was really good.

Very disappointing experience. I placed an order for £735.93 and was expecting it to be delivered by the agreed date. However, a week after I was due to receive the order, it still had not even been dispatched.

At that point, I cancelled the order because I no longer required it and could not wait indefinitely for it to be sent. Despite my cancellation request, the order was subsequently dispatched.

I then had to escalate the matter through PayPal rather than the company resolving it directly. PayPal ultimately closed the case in my favour and issued a £735.93 refund against the Pay in 3 transaction.

I am pleased that PayPal resolved the matter, but having to raise a dispute to obtain a refund for an order I had cancelled after the promised delivery date had already been missed was extremely frustrating.

Based on this experience, I would not order from this company again.

Order came correct and on time. Haven’t caught anything yet think that’s my fault. Tackle was spot on.

Fishing tackle and bait have a great selection of kit at competitive prices, a reliable and efficient service with good quick delivery, recommended.

Take your money get no goods never reply to emails can't get passed the bot to be told 48hrs for a reply. Do not use this company for your fishing needs. My bank informed

I bought a lure box that arrived damaged and customer service was absolutely first class and sorted it out asap. Would recommend 👍

I ordered a MAP Z36 seat box and have been very impressed. Ordering was quick and easy. Any questions I had before ordering were quickly answered. I was given regular email updates as to the status of my order and was able to track delivery. I have placed a few orders with FTB and have been pleased each time.

Made several purchases with tackle and bait recently highly satisfied with the service provided by them regarding the goods purchased were delivered in the time stated and more importantly the price paid for the goods especially my last purchase was way cheaper than other dealers

Purchased a pair of standard waders at a good price 0nline with expectation of being in stock. Waders not dispatched yet and waited 4 weeks so far - I have made contact on several occasions and received a standard email reply "your order is expected to be dispatched within the next 4-7 days" Exercise caution if you are buying anything on line.

Ordered the Preston edge monster 11 metre pole, roller and pole sock. All in perfect condition and arrived on time. Very fast delivery, will order here again.

My experience with this retailer was unacceptable. I ordered items based on their stated delivery window for an important match — that promise was not met. No dispatch notification. No communication. Nothing, even a week later.
I formally cancelled the order when it became clear the items wouldn’t arrive. The cancellation email was delivered and never bounced. They ignored it.
Days later, they shipped the order anyway and refused to refund the full amount, despite the failure being entirely theirs. When challenged, they simply claimed they “didn’t get” the cancellation email, despite a time / dated copy provided.
No phone number! No real‑time contact! Emails unanswered! Cancellations ignored! Refunds withheld! And when you finally reach someone, the behaviour is dismissive and unprofessional.
UK buyers should be extremely cautious. If things go wrong, you may find yourself with no contact, no support, and no lawful resolution.

Great prices & quick delivery. Fishing Tackle & Bait is quickly becoming my favourite tackle shop. A really great range of items (especially as a lure fisherman), and the delivery to London is quicker than if I order from Angling Direct that's based closer to myself. I would definitely recommend
