Outstanding Service – CityFibre Went Above and Beyond!



I honestly can’t praise CityFibre enough! After endless frustration with my previous provider, who couldn’t even get me connected, the CityFibre team completely turned things around. The engineers who came out went above and beyond — they didn’t just do the job; they made it their mission to get me online.

It wasn’t a straightforward install, but the chaps went out of their way — even speaking with neighbours and working through tricky obstacles — to make sure I was finally connected. Their professionalism, determination, and genuine care blew me away.

It’s rare these days to find a company that truly goes the extra mile, but CityFibre absolutely did. I’m now a very happy customer and will be staying with them for life. I can’t recommend them highly enough — top-notch service from start to finish!

Ref s1526811. Liv and Ian were our city fibre engineers. Arrived on time after giving us a courtesy call shortly before arrival. Talked, explaining what they would be doing, discussed and advised us understanding our requirements as well. Very professional, efficient and polite whilst at our home. Very happy.

City Fibre just installed my WiFi and we couldn’t be happier.
We were reminded of the installation date and time pre installation.
On the day Daniel the engineer called us letting us know he was on his way giving us an accurate ETA.
Clean and tidy installation.

5* for Craig & Paul only

Note this 5* review is specifically for one out of 3 crews that attended our address S1501124 (Craig & Paul). After being misinformed by two previous crews, and a failed attempt to push through our fibre on the first visit, Craig & Paul on this occasion explained everything thoroughly and advised us what they was doing and how they was overcoming issues presented, something the first crew couldn’t be bothered to do. Eventually we have been supplied with our fibre and would like to thank Craig & Paul for their genuine efforts and honest hard work to ensure this was not another failed visit.

We changed from BT/EE to…

We changed from BT/EE to Toob,attractive price structure,nice modern router,very simple instructions..Installation lads were great,friendly & knew exactly what they were doing..The whole process took about 2 hours start to finish..WiFi signal around the house is amazing compared to previous provider..Toob only provide broadband & not landline..Our old BT digital Alexa phone will only work with the BT router & will not work with any other providers..Not a problem for us,as we don’t use the landline & had it disconnected.

Installed a line outside my house…

Installed a line outside my house several months ago but apparently there is some wayleave issue meaning I can't get broadband. You can't speak to anyone to find out what's going on, contacted the Customer Engagement team 2 months ago and radio silence.

Terrible company

So I had city fibre out on my go live day which was 29/9 with Vodafone.. guess what!? The problem still hasn't been resolved! a date was provided by Vodafone for the work to be completed by 28/10 no correspondence from city fibre what so ever and id also like your equipment removed from my premises as clearly its no use to me!

We've had previous issues with another…

We've had previous issues with another engineer called Anam who made out like he was going to have to ruin my garden to install the broadband so I refused to have it done that day. After speaking with Sky again and getting some assurance that it wouldn't be like that we went ahead and got 2 lovely guys called Craig and Paul! They were very professional, attentive and tidy!! You can't even tell they’ve been. They explained every step of the process and ensured we were up and running before they left. And they didn't need to break my concrete flags like Anam had originally said. Thank you for being so professional, helpful and tidy would defo recommend these 2!
