Review of Plumbworld
The pump was very noisy on initial start up (after having first run water through the system without power), as if there was an object obstructing the impeller. The noise has reduced but not disappeared. I called Stuart Turner who advised me to exchange the unit with them. The serial number indicates that the pump was 15 months old on delivery from Plumworld. They advised that it could be defective, but would determine this on return of the original.

My only concern is that Saga (and Bennetts, which is part of the same organisation) have a habit of slightly inflating the premium quoted on comparison websites, without any changes in circumstances. This is sharp practice, and must cease. Otherwise very satisfactory.
