Have had several issues with this…

Have had several issues with this company. When I first got their service I had many issues with the speed and modem and although they promised that someone from Technical would call they didn't and still haven't months down the road. As a result I decided to hardwire my house so the important things weren't relying on Wi-Fi. Clearly the router, (Wi-Fi element) is faulty - still no new router and still no call from their technical department. Fast Forward - Today there is no service at all. I called them at 10.40 only to be told that their technical team aren't in yet, but should be within the next 5-10 minutes and they will call me. It's now 11.37 and nothing. So I'm left without any internet hanging about until they decided I am an important customer and giving back the very same loyalty I gave to them when buying this service. NEVER AGAIN...

Folks these reviews are so you don't have to experience what others have. Pitiful service is NO accident.

Abysmal tactics used by this company..

Abysmal tactics used by this company... Despite knowing that they have made a mistake they continue to harass.

There is no way of contacting them unless you complete their online form giving all your details so that they can hound you further. The link for this is sent to you by email.

Despicable behaviour from their staff who seem to think just because they have been asked by someone to collect what they believe is a debt that's all they need to breach important guidelines and regulations to prevent them from behaving like this in the first place.

All in all, they have operated using intimidation and bullying tactics and disregard all legitimate and transparent challenges...

A total bunch of absolute thieves...

A total bunch of absolute thieves...

BE AWARE...

This company uses confusing tactics to reel you in and take your money. Furthermore, because of how they have designed and worded their site they are completely protected against any action...

The information they give is misleading and the banks cannot challenge it simply because even though its difficult to see, (I would say hidden) unless you scroll down the page which they encourage you not to do from having all you need at the top of their site. The hook is further down and most people miss it as a result.

Clearly this is done purposely and considering the amount of people who have uploaded bad reviews all experiencing the same issue - it is clear they are doing this purposely to get your cash. I feel that someone has taken £80.00 out of my pocket.

As an individual customer selling my car and looking for a history breakdown, why on earth would I ever sign up to a monthly subscription of £39.90 - it makes no sense and they do not make this clear at all. In fact, there is nothing mentioned about being a single use customer or a business.

This is a loophole that they are clearly using to take money from innocent customers - imagine have this much contempt for your customers...

Shame on them - despicable behaviour...

I so wish I had looked at this site…

I so wish I had looked at this site before buying from this despicable company and the underhand methods they use to take money from innocent people...

In my case I got a call from a prospective buyer asking if I had a 'car-checking' report done so he could look at it. I didn't know anything about 'Car-Checking' so went on their site and paid £5.95 to get a single report for my car. I then sent him the report and head nothing back from him so even a thank you or anything.

Next thing I know is that this company had taken 2 payments of £39.90 for some sort of subscription that I certainly did not sign up to.

Trying to ge this money back is a nightmare as the bank are claiming that I must communicate with the company a show that I have attempted to get a refund before they can step in. I have a completely different outlook to the bank on this - to me this couldn't be anything other than fraud by misrepresentation along with something that has been mis-sold.

Complete and utter senseless service…

Complete and utter senseless service with no accountability over what appears to have been purposeful misrepresentation ahead of investigating and understanding the actual make up of complaints.

In my case they took over a year to investigate a complaint, then used the time they took to investigate it against me in order to further misrepresent it in their findings. I have found them to be deceitful and particularly unprofessional. Given they have achieve 90% bad reviews I think that speaks volumes. Come on folks, 90% of people leaving reviews cannot be wrong with their assumptions of this organisation.

Like me, I am assuming that when individuals have challenged the professionalism and conduct of employees, all the doors start closing and fast!

A warning to anyone:
Using this service should be avoided at all costs and even if you base your decision around 90% of us who have expressed dissatisfaction with this organisation and left a review – this is real people confirming to you that ‘The Financial Ombudsman Service’ seems to have lost their way when protecting consumers and their rights.

Has eBay gone absolutely…

Has eBay gone absolutely mad...

So, it stated by them stating "Now free to sell", but what a load of rubbish that was. They then add 'Buyer Protection' as of 5th February 2025.

Now when you sell, you are paying a fee from the overall amount you are selling an item for, so the buyer has protection. eBay then keeps your money, (presumably so they can make as much money form the interest of having your money, and everyone else’s money for that matter).

In my case I sold a lens for £180.00. eBay took £7.62 for ‘Buyers Protection’ I sent the lens using Royal Mail fully insured Special Delivery, (next day before 1pm) which cost me £17.00. The buyer wasn’t home as agreed the following day nor was he home the next day. In fact, he took almost 10 days to collect it from his local post office and I’ve still not had the money from eBay.

Now I must wait another 2 days for the buyer to inform eBay that he is happy with the item and another day for eBay to release my funds. Where else would this happen!

Imagine buying a TV from your local retailer getting it home and having to wait until someone unbox it, put it on the wall etc then inform the retailer you were happy with it so they could get paid.

That’s my decision made to move to another selling site.

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO EBAY – You won’t have buyers, if you make enemies of your sellers!

Disgusting attitude from customer…

Disgusting attitude from customer service agent... Gove seem to only have 1 customer service agent in the UK. Well it's the same person that keeps answering my multiple emails when sending them to customer services. Despite asking for the contact details of their complaints department this same person who clearly knows me is blocking me from making my complaint and now a complaint about her and the way she is behaving.

I am bitterly disappointed by Gove as I have purchase any of their item however, I still haven't received an item, (79.99) I bought in November and they simply done;t Gove a toss about the fact they have my money and I don't have my lights.

Sadly now I will need to raise a civil action against them to get my money back.

Wow a lot of jacket for £97.00...

Wow a lot of jacket for £97.00...

Can't say enough about this jacket, (Long Performance Shooting Smock). I'm no shooter but I bought this for wildlife videoing and general hill walking etc.

This is seriously well made and a thoughtfully designed smock jacket. I've spent hundreds on waterproof jackets in the past - I wish I knew about Rydale before now.

Tuff, practical, comfortable with great looks. Ordered and arrived as promised the following day for an extra few pounds!

Highly recommend this jacket for any outdoors activity.

Sadly even though I paid £15.99 extra…

Sadly even though I paid £15.99 extra to have 2 items delivered by noon yesterday, DPD failed. Not only did they fail on this guaruntee, they also failed to give me any detailed information about why my items weren't being delivered as promised, where they were and when I would get them...

That said, I did get a notification which said... "Sorry there's a delay with your parcel; this is normally resolved within 24 hours and we will update you". Needless to say, no update was given and more importantly, I missed an important deadline.

Don't get me wrong, I fully understand that things can sometimes go wrong but when they do, the most important thing is to inform people so they have an opportunity to try work around failed guarantees.

Not impressed at all with your communication ethics!

Again and again...

Again and again...

So despite what this company state in order to try undermine my absolutely factual experiences - they claim not to have my card details which is absolute nonsense. I gave them in order to purchase a short term pass from their website, costing £1.99. Clearly a teaser to get card details.

they have since tried to take £49.99 from my account on 4 separate occasions and again today at 07:46 they attempted to take another £49.99.

Despite knowing that I have challenged them multiple times nothing has changed. All they seem to do is 'blah, blah, blah' their way around negative reviews with the same automated response. the fact remains though they they continue to try take money from my account which I have not authorised.

Folks, stay clear of this company - they are clearly scamming people and yes I'll say it again, "they are clearly scamming people"...

RESPONSE:

Well all anyone needs to do is look at all the poor reviews which essentially state the same as me...

No matter what you claim, the fact is you are scamming people who might not understand the hidden subscription platform you clearly use to manipulate and deceive decent people.

Furthermore, I DID NOT sign up to any subscription with you, I simply paid for a short term licenses to covert 1 single document and that's all. Having provided my card details for this transaction, your dishonourable company then attempted to help themselves to my money. Even after highlighting it to you on 4 separate occasions, you continued to ignore me and attempted to take money from my account - 4 times. Despicable you...

Punishing customer for their errors:

Nothing to do with the product. In fact, I wish I were leaving a review based on their product but sadly I didn’t get to try it. Despite clicking my preferred courier at checkout, my item was sent using another courier. A courier who has form for not delivering, claiming they have delivered and generally misleading the entire delivery process! Ironically the reason I didn’t choose them…

True to form, my item showed it had been delivered and a picture of it being left on the doorstep was sent to me. Why it hadn’t been put through our large letterbox is anyone’s guess. It could easily have fitted but ultimately it was nowhere to be found.

An exchange of emails ensued with NF Supplements and a replacement package would be sent out and I was assured that my item would be sent using my original preferred courier. Immediately I received another email explaining there was no stock available.

Move on 11 days – yip you guessed, the replacement was sent out using the same courier as last time and needless to say this went missing, no pic just a notification to say left somewhere beside front door? However, it was when I informed NF Supplements that I’d had enough, and they should refund me so I can go elsewhere that things took a bad turn. They claimed that before any refund could be issued, they would need to raise a claim with the courier and then carry out a full investigation so I wouldn’t be entitled to a refund until this happened.

Being punished for buying from this company isn’t something I enjoy, partially when it was their error, (TWICE) that has caused the issues.

Ok so we all know the lengths companies…

Ok so we all know the lengths companies go to in order to give a different impression to ones provided by consumers, like me! And PDF Guru is no different!

Facts:
This company has now tried to take £49.99 from my account on 4 separate occasions, even after challenging their first attempt, which was certainly not authorised by me they continued to try take £49.99 from my account on a further 3 occasions all within 5-7 days of each other. Thankfully, my bank blocked all these attempts as it appears, according to my bank that PDF Guru is known for their ‘suspicious activity’, the result of the volume of complaints from other customers who had also experienced unauthorised transactions from PDF Guru.

My mistake here was the purchase of a very short-term pass which cost £1.99 to allow me to convert 1 document. And as it was online, I provided my card details. For PDF Guru to claim they don’t have access to my bank or my card details, is simply ludicrous – sadly, Trustpilot doesn’t have a facility to upload pics otherwise I would be able to upload a screenshot of their attempts to prove my claims.

The bottom line is what you want to believe? Me with facts, banks with facts, or PDF Guru who are purposely trying to discredit my claims based around damage limitations, but also, they want to remain ‘scot-free’, so the speak. These are not the actions of a company operating with moral and ethics and that’s what you need to keep at the back of your mind.

From what I understand from my bank, it’s not just me that has been fooled by them either, it’s lots and lots of customers.

I absolutely stand by everything I have stated above!

A company without scruples...

A company without scruples...

Another attempt to take £49.99 from my account today. This is now the 4th time this company has tried to steal money from my account. I bought a short pass for £1.99 and that's it. I did not sign up to anything other than a short pass as I only wanted to convert 1 document. I even read all the terms & conditions etc.

I don't understand all the positive reviews here - why are they continually trying to steel money even after that have posted replies stating they don't have my details. Total lies for TrustPilot.

Clearly you are scammers and even after I've identified this to you three times previously, you are still trying to take money from my account.

Since my last negative review

Since my last negative review - based on an order that did eventually arrive, 4 weeks later. However, it's the fact that no one has bothered to address my complaint which was raised with you in writing. Whilst I understand Christmas time is busy, but being busy should never come ahead of trusting customers who have exchanged their money for goods and services which you promise to deliver. To then be purposely ignored is inexcusable. I feel bitter that over the years of being loyal, my loyalty means absolutely nothing and this for me is a 'step too far' - I won't ever be buying form you again!

Third time UNLUCKY...

Third time UNLUCKY...

Believing this couldn’t happen for a third time, today I have been utterly pissed off at Amazon. Yet again, they have sent me someone else's return but masqueraded it as new. I thought I was buying a brand new Rodecaster Pro MKII as advertised on their site, 'BRAND NEW' costing me £637.00, however that's not what arrived!

They did this to me some months back with a £500.00 smart TV and despite collecting it from me within a few days it took them over 3 months to refund me. I got a refund only because I was forced to submit a claim against them to the small claims court, which ironically prompted them to issue an immediate refund. The case is still going to court though as I had losses as a result.

They did the same with 2 £30.00 wall lights over a month ago and sent me another customer return but masqueraded it as brand new. It is beyond me that they believe they can behave in this illegal fashion but more importantly to treat loyal customers like this too. It is an illegal practice to sell, ‘as new’ an item that has been returned by another customer or refurbished. If I did it I would face either a fine or a jail term, but giant organisations like this seem to think behave however they want.

I now feel sick about the tens of thousands of pounds I have spent with Amazon which I am certain has helped to fund their greed and their appalling consumer abuse. It is the last straw for me and I have cancelled my account as a result…
