Review of YouGarden
This is the 3rd Laurel Bush I have bought in over a year from a Garden Centre.
The other 2 from 2 other Garden Centres have not prospered and showed problems from a few days after delivery.
This one is doing wonderfully well and thus this review.

Review of Lucius Books
I have used Lucius Books for many years and find their Antiquarian and other books of excellent quality.
I rarely go to Fairs and buy via the Internet and Lucius packs the books carefully AND fully so as to arrive in the same wonderful state they left their premises.

Review of Media Storehouse
I wanted 5 A4 excellent quality prints of Copyrighted imagery from illustrative art between 1890 and 1930.
All 5 were available on the Media Storehouse database and straightforwardly ordered along with the imagery documentation reproduced on the back.
VERY pleased with the end product which came neatly and protectively packed so that it would make its way through the Postal System undamaged.
An excellent experience. THANK YOU.

I have been using The Saleroom to buy Art and Books for many years and I find it WONDERFUL.
What Amazon did for books, The Saleroom has done for Auction Rooms.
Life's beautiful objects at one's finger tips. The only constraint is one's budget.

Review of thesaleroom.com
The fulfilment of a lifetime's interest in book illustration.
I bought the 5 van Abbe illustrations when I received email notification via the Saleroom whom I have used for many years.
I placed a bid via the Web interface and crossed fingers for success.
HUGELY precious drawings for me. I remember the 1st time I saw the published book in the library at the school we were leaving to go to my sister's convent in Warrington. 1957. It was the 1st book I had seen - there were no books in the various postings on the many base camps in post-WW2 Egypt and the leadup to the civil war, coup and handover to President Nasser in 1956 and our boat to Belfast before the so-called Suez Crisis.
I picked up several other books before finding Tanglewood Tales and the 8 coloured plates and the line drawings tucked in amongst the printed words captivated me ... for life (as it now turns out.) I remember how the depictions of the mythological figures and soldiers with plumed helmets and bare and vulnerable legs were so far from wet and grey Lancashire with clouds and rationed food and limp and snail bitten vegetables. I was not able to read the book in the hour or 2's wait but the images were seared into my mind and I sought out the stories over the years when we came to London and I found Sir John Soane's home re-purposed into the exclusive Ealing Reference Library (now Pitzhanger Manor) with its 18th Century doors, marble floors and winding staircase to the lamps and reading tables where I discovered the Greeks and, later, the Romans and, later still, the Persians and the Assyrians - art but no extant literature.
My outing to Salisbury to retrieve the 5 van Abbe illustrations AMAZING.
I took our largest suitcase along with bubblewrap to the auctioneers, Woolley and Wallis, in the Business Park a few miles outside Salisbury.
Weighed a ton when packed but there ARE wheels at the bottom and the odd handle hold interspersed with a trolley pull proved easy enough and I had fun.
The pictures WERE glazed - thus my visit rather than Courier - and these were carefully removed in the warm evening sun last night and discarded into the bins for collection this morning.
They HAD been stored where water came in as in the drawings I bought from the book that appeared on eBay 4 or 5 years ago. One frame had rotted at the back and damp stains climbed onto the back of the mount but the artwork remained in the same pristine condition since they were painted in 1950.
The 2 trains were packed - ESPECIALLY the earlier 13:20 ticket I paid to come back on after a partial refund on the booked 17:40 later one. It was PACKED. Not a seat empty except for one of 2 with a gentleman on my right. At each stop I looked back at the baggage area where my bag was stacked along with its precious cargo.
2 sets of thanks to Wooley and Wallis at Unit 1B:
1) for having my 5 drawings ready and near at hand following my phoning Unit 1B on Monday
2) for phoning the taxi driver who had just dropped me off from Salisbury station so that I could return to the station with my new drawings
I consider my dealings with them a wonderful experience. I thank them for making my 1st Wooley and Wallis transaction such a resounding and rewarding success.

Review of Rainfordparrisbooks
I have dealt with Helen and Philip for several years and will continue to do so as the books they buy in and sell onto the public are immaculate irrespective of their age - I am VERY fussy about the condition of the books I buy (often what are referred to as 'collectible') and know I will get them from Rainfordparrisbooks.
This is backed up by AMAZING packaging so that the books will arrive in the same pristine condition that they leave their shelves.
Excellent service.
A wonderful purchasing experience.
Thank you.

Review of The Picture Gallery & Framing Centre
I collect drawings and prepare them for storage and preservation in Solander boxes.
I value the archive quality of the mounts and backing boards cut and prepared by The Picture Gallery.
Each drawing has its own borders, tops and bottoms. Each measure has been cut perfectly by The Picture Gallery.
Over several years, they have cut more than 100 for me. They are to be congratulated.
