Talking to a real person is always better than trying to do things online. My request was actioned immediately. Thank you.
A great company to deal with, the care and packing for delivery is outstanding! The only downside is the commission charged, but you can still get bargains. The latest purchase cost me the same as I paid 45 years ago, yes I'm getting on but who cares!
They reacted to my query very quickly and more importantly solved my problem within 5 minutes
A great auction house online, easy to navigate and good customer support. I’ve used them for years and always had good experiences.
I placed a bid for an item in a Shrewsbury auction without taking account of the difficulty involved in bringing it home, if successful (I live in Hampshire). The auction house was okay with a cancellation, but it had to be arranged with thesaleroom. I'm pleased to report that this was arranged without any fuss, or difficulty at all. I recommend thesaleroom to every one thinking of bidding in an online auction - they are first rate!
Very bad experience recently at an auction on the 4th of august , left a strong bid on lot 576 at the griffins auction, watched the sale the auctioneer said i had one , had confirmation email from "the saleroom" to say such , phoned griffins to pay , only to be told someone from easy life auctions won , not what the livefeed of the auction said . The saleroom very little help on the matter . Dont know if they can be trusted again
Always reliable, Monique and Kenneth have been especially helpful and The Saleroom as a whole have always been good.
Previously reliable if a little slow, but pace has picked up this year and with new initiatives, continue to be an industry leader.
The system of finding information relies entirely on a chatbot which sends you round in circles. The mailbox company they recommend for delivery is a total rip off, quoting me double the price I paid two months ago for an almost identical parcel and an unpleasant person to boot. I will not use them again but deal direct with the auctioneers
Good professional advice, friendly, valued customer and appreciated. Happy Bidder
Very polite and helpful advice - thank you

There have been very few problems in the time I've used the saleroom and any queries were sorted quickly. It's a user friendly site. The rating would be a 5, but nothing is perfect.
Their app is quite straightforward and questions and concerns are answered quickly and effectively. A query I had about page numbering and advancing through a catalogue more quickly is being looked at in order to improve its use.
My query was answered quickly and very efficiently, with utmost care. I was extremely pleased with their customer care 😀😀
The initial issue was not with The SaleRoom but with the auction house selling a piece of moorcroft. The item description was so missing of any detail, for it to be inaccurate. The item had been smashed and very badly repaired. The auction house did not mention this at all, giving a description as if the item was in perfect condition. When I complained, the auction house admitted that their auction site description was accurate, but the saleroom description was, as it was, without the detail. For accurate descriptions you need to phone the auction house for the description. Saleroom customer service seem to consider this as appropriate, so their descriptions should/cannot be relied upon. I wont use this platform again.
Myself sending my ARTWORK at THE SALEROOM for ' Private Sale ' / SELL AT THE SALEROOM.
The reply you sending ' THIS is secondary market . We will suggest to sell at other Auctions.

I'm a good client at your auction ..
But the shipping ( not your fault ) send 2 important dolls to Spain, and they did separate them in the cardboard box, with a hard piece og cardboard, which have brocken the big Jumeau in 100 pieces, so I lost all my money there with the Packingers..
Kind regards

I got a quick response from one of their team member James. He explained the process clearly and guided me through the application process.
