Good experience and good quality furniture
The shopping experience: Went to Sofology store at at Fosse Park, Leicester. Layout of store was good, easy to navigate and assess various styles of furniture. Was impressed that, despite having a good number of staff present, there was no pushiness or pressure to buy. Gentleman that approached us, was polite and took basic details then just left us too it. On second visit, to confirm our choice, still no hard sell or pressure to buy. We spend a couple of hours in the store, choosing between our two potential suites. At no time did the staff try to get rid of us or hurry us along, in fact, as we were interested in a sofa that two of the team were having a meeting on, they stopped their meeting, one left and the other lady spent ages just chatting with us, and letting us test the sofa. Very impressed.
The wait: The staff at store gave us summary of lead times for delivery and direct debit set up. No issues with the lead time, as the sofa was delivered within the projected timescales. Not bad lead times for the furniture - 6 weeks from order to delivery (including Christmas).
Delivery: Communication about delivery dates were clear and timely. Communication from delivery driver was as instructed from previous emails, giving us an accurate time slot. The two delivery guys were very friendly and professional - polite, removes boots when entering the lounge, assessed best route on entry with the sofas to ensure no damage to sofas or house. Assembly of sofas quick and good, explanation of care and support good, inspection of assembled sofas good, pointing our minor natural blemishes etc. Removal of all packaging, so no mess left in house.
The furniture: Lovely. Mazzini 2 x 2 corner unit and separate 2 seat sofa in Utah Grey. Look great, also looks and feels good quality. Very comfortable, nice deep seats. Only problem is getting the youngest son off the corner bit!
Overall, very impressed with the whole team. would recommend Sofology over other retailers (and we looked at a few!).
