I’ve always had good service from dhl previously (they deliver a monthly medical prescription to us), but dreadful this time; they claimed they’d tried to deliver 3 times, which was odd, as there was only a 6 hour space in the last week when neither of us was at home. They didn’t leave a card or send a text or anything. East lancs prescription service managed to pin them down to delivering this afternoon, but when the van (not a dhl one) arrived, the driver insisted I could only have the parcel when he’d collected the one I was “due to return”. This was nonsense, as I wasn’t due to return anything at all. As the parcel contained important medical supplies, which I urgently needed, I was horrified. After calls to various “managers” the driver gave me the parcel with very bad grace.

Excellent service and I’m delighted with the Shark - it certainly does with pet hair what it says on the box, plus no bags, easy to clean filters and light enough to carry upstairs easily.

Sykes are brilliant -they have a great range of holiday cottages and the website “filter” works really well. I was especially impressed with the way that they dealt with changing the booking dates when we couldn’t go because of Covid restrictions

I ordered a T3 Tilley hat, and received an email to say it had been dispatched. However, the tracking link in the email didn’t work. After about 10 days I rang up to enquire and was told it must have been lost in transit. I received a refund, so that was all fine, but what puzzled me was the way in which the man I spoke to knew very quickly that it was lost, and spoke as though this was a normal rather than uncommonly occurrence. Maybe using the Royal Mail or Parcelforce would be more reliable??

Fantastic service from Sykes; our holiday, originally booked for March 2020 was rebooked a further 3 times before the covid rules allowed is to go. Sykes changed the dates each time without any extra booking fees (just a bit extra to finally go in June, so high season). The cottage (Ash Pot Barn) was excellent - plenty of space, 3 bathrooms and it felt very safe. (Our only suggestion would have been for some information on how to use the cooker, where to put rubbish etc.)
