Abstract

L'invention concerne un support (10) pour fixer une plaque (11) sensiblement verticale, notamment une plaque de verre, sur des appareils porteurs (12) tels que des jambages de balustrade, des piliers tubulaires, des profilés de cadre et analogues. Ce support comporte une partie support (13) dotée de mâchoires (15) recouvrant le bord de la plaque, cette partie support étant fixée à l'appareil porteur par vis. La face arrière de la partie support (15) est reliée de manière libérable à un élément raccord (14), cette liaison étant un assemblage par rainure et languette sécurisé par des vis ou des chevilles, et l'élément raccord étant fixé par vis sur l'appareil porteur. L'invention vise à réduire à un minimum les concentrations de tension dans la zone du point de serrage de la plaque. A cet effet, l'élément raccord (14) est relié par une articulation à la partie support (13), ce qui diminue notablement les risques d'endommagement de la plaque.
