PROCEDIMIENTO PARA LA OBTENCION DEL RACEMATO O DE LOS ENANTIOMEROS, ASI COMO DE SALES DE ADICION DE ACIDO DE FINILQUINOLICIDINAS DE FORMULA (I), EN LA QUE R4 ES HIDROGENO O ALQUILO INFERIOR, Y X, Y, R5 Y R6 PUEDEN SER VARIOS TIPOS DE RADICALES. SE BASA EN LA REACCION DE UN COMPUESTO OXO DE FORMULA (II) EN LA QUE X, Y, R4, R5 Y R6 TIENEN EL MISMO SIGNIFICADO QUE EN LA FORMULA (I), CON PENTASULFURO DE FOSFORO EN PIRIDINA A UNOS 150 GC. EL PRODUCTO FORMADO, DESPUES DE EVAPORADO EL DISOLVENTE, SE TRATA CON HIDROXIDO SODICO Y SE EXTRAE CON LA MEZCLA CLOROFORMO/ISOPROPANOL. EL EXTRACTO, DESPUES DE LAVADO, SECADO Y EVAPORADO, SE PURIFICA POR METODOS CONVENCIONALES, OBTENIENDO EL RACEMATO. ESTE SE PUEDE RESOLVER EN SUS ENANTIOMEROS O TRANSFORMARLO EN UNA SAL POR METODOS CONOCIDOS. ESTOS COMPUESTOS TIENEN APLICACIONES FARMACOLOGICAS POR SU ACTIVIDAD NEUROLEPTICA, DEPRESIVA DEL SISTEMA NERVIOSO CENTRAL, TRANQUILIZANTE Y ANALGESICA. *FORMULA*
