I received almost no information on the person I was checking on, just a load of photos many of which were not him. I didn’t mind paying £1, but I was annoyed to discover that without any warning I... See more

Wanted one look up for one euro
Wanted one look up for one euro, fine so far and it identified the picture as a ai image3. Not well pleased when some time later they scammed me out of e30 for a months sub that i did not want.
Absolutely useless and gave me no…
Absolutely useless and gave me no information about the number I asked them to look up only lots of meaningless gobbledegook.
Like other reviewers I was scammed out…
Like other reviewers I was scammed out of 29.99 after paying £1 for one look-up. I strongly suspect the information it 'found' was fictitious. Cancelled the recurring PayPal subscription.
Best left well alone
Best left well alone. Had been plagued by unrecognised number so tried this site (probably the source of the unrecognised number). Paid £1 upfront for search with "guaranteed" results which in the end proved completely useless. Disappointed but thought nothing more of it. Then came the attempts at removing £29.99 via pay pal from bank account using the same card with which i'd paid for the initial search.
Would have awarded no stars but the one red star indicates WARNING!!
I was charged £29.99 in July 27
I was charged £29.99 in July 27, 2026, when I was told I was only going to be charged £0.50 for one lookup.
I can't find any way to contact your company to refund this charge. I do not want to be charged again for any service I must have unknowingly subscribed to with Reverse lookup. I am rescinding on any subscription I have unwittingly permitted.
Please contact me as soon as possible.
SCAM
SCAM. You sign up to pay £1 for a report on the unknown phone number to see who’s calling you, but they take £1.50 and if you don’t cancel it immediately it’ll take £29.99 monthly from the card you paid with. The report said there was nothing to report. Don’t bother. Scam.
Scammed with unauthorized charges. Avoid!
This service is a scam. I paid for what I thought was a one-time search, and now they are stealing money from my bank account every month. They automatically signed me up for a hidden subscription without my explicit permission. I do not even have an account to log in and cancel this. Total fraud, avoid at all costs!
Con artists tricking people into hidden consents for monthly payments
Just had a payment come out of my bank account ($53.30) due to some damn "hidden consent" I never subscribed to nor authorised. Doing what I can now to ensure this doesn't end up being a monthly amount that keeps coming out of my account! It came through PayPal and I have now removed cards from PayPal account and tried to close the PayPal account but it says I have to wait for "pending" transaction/s to clear! Not happy about being conned. They should be shut down.
Cancelled my subscription in March and…
Cancelled my subscription in March and had a payment stolen from me today. Scammers.
Reverse Lookup service is not a genuine company.
I signed up for a streaming service recently, a well known one. Once I did that I began receiving endless scam phone calls which I ignored and blocked. However last week after yet another phone call, I thought I would check to see who had called me. I engaged the services of Reverse Lookup at a cost of £1. Now I see that an amount of £29.99, an unauthorised payment has been taken from my account. The service itself was without any merit. No usable information in the report.
Do not ever get drawn in to this ridiculous website. Be aware. Tell all your friends. Avoid this company at all costs. PS I will get my money back!!
UPDATE:
I got my money back, as advised above!!
I emailed the company and demanded my money back, citing unauthorised transaction on my account. The money was taken from my credit card on August 09th 2026 and the refund was processed on August 11th 2026. I am pleased with the result.
This may be an option for others who have been a victim of Reverselookup unprofessional practices. The email address must be somewhere on their website so check it out. Trustpilot does not allow email addresses to be added to a review. Good luck!
No clear mention of a subscription…
No clear mention of a subscription charge when using for a single check up. No email confirmation. Awful service and very "trappy". 1st I notuced was a fee of £29.99 being taken from my account.

I did the same search aswell two 50c…
I did the same search aswell two 50c payments on paypal and after couple days 29.99 of my paypal , I went on the account , canceld everything and deleted my profile. Canceled payment on paypal and cancelled future payment to them. Emailed them on their email acusing them of illegal money stealing with out my authorisation, 2 seconds later got email back saying some bullshit and saying no more future payments will be taken and any subscription is cancelled, ( saved screnshots of those emails , just in case for next month if i see anything doggy ill send these to paypal ) they said money should be back in aswell , which it was 2 min later back in my account . Definitely a scam and definitely I was stupid to even trying it, cant actually believe i got scammed since I've never ever had before. Just dont ever sign up to this website.
Do not use this company
Do not use this company. As per all other users £29.99 taken from account. Subscription cancelled. Will keep a check on my bank account.
Avoid
I've just had £29.99 taken from my PayPal account by these people without me giving authorisation. Complaint process started with a view to obtaining a refund, time will tell. In the meantime avoid them like the plague.

This company is a scammer. First they will charge you 1£ then they will charge you 29.99£ each month. Its a hidden clause that they been using to scam. Its a fraud company. Not easy to contact. They have a rented office where you found no one. If the company is reading it kindly refund the full amount immediately. I will not say please because you are fraud.
