Taxually are the absolute worst and completely incompetent. Took 6 months to register for IOSS when they said it would only take a couple of weeks. The came back to me each week asking for more information/documents as they didn't know what was needed from the start. They cost me $1,000s with their delays. Then, no response for months. I prepaid for a years filing and no one will respond to my emails. I cant get in touch with anyone. DO NOT WORK WITH TAXUALLY. And definitely do no prepay for anything. They will not deliver on anything they promise. I wish I read the REAL reviews before I worked with them.
Avoid this company. I paid for 2 services and they have just taken the money and done nothing. I paid for the opening of UK VAT but they never (after 2 years) managed to open the VAT there. So I just wasted my time and money. Than I have paid for German VAT de-registration and after 2 year of waiting I discovered that it was never done either (after 100s of emails I have sent to them). That's crazy! I have also discovered that they have never sent any reports to the German authorities related to my VAT position and now the German government issued a big fine for this. Now after all this time and money that I have spent I need to pay again and hire another serious company to help me out of this mess they have done.

its a big mess at this company. After 100 fuckups, I've asked for deregistration of my tax, and they keep mixing up, saying i am not registered, and sending invoices for things they are not doing.
The one basic thing they should be doing is also their most imcompetent task.
Answer on their answer: Please, dont do anything regarding German deregistration anymore. You had a year, and failed even after 20+ emails. I've asked my new accountant already to fix your mess.

Filled out form on 31st July and paid. 11th Aug I enquired about the number and was told they were still waiting on receiving it. Now 30 days later I send another message asking for an update and they tell me its still being verified and has not even been submitted yet!!! Why was I told they were waiting for the number if it wasn't even submitted??
Edit: I gave my details but I still haven't had a response, nor is my registration submitted.

Very disappointing experience with Taxually.
The pricing was significantly higher than advertised on Amazon. In my case, the final cost ended up being around 100% higher than the price I initially expected based on the advertised offer.
Communication has also been frustrating. Email responses often take more than 48 hours. In fact, I’m still waiting for an answer to a simple question even after 72 hours.
Overall, the combination of unexpected additional costs and extremely slow communication has made the experience much more frustrating and expensive than anticipated. I would recommend carefully checking the total cost and service terms before committing.

I had a good experience with Taxually, I've been using it since a year. I recommend it.

I'm very Pleased with them handling my EU VAT for almost 4 years.

This company has caused nothing but problems for me. They do not file my tax returns on time, and I keep receiving late sales tax penalties every month.
Whenever I try to schedule a Google Meet to discuss the issues, even if I schedule it a week in advance, they sometimes cancel the meeting just five minutes before it is supposed to start. Their communication is extremely poor.
They keep delaying the work and telling me not to worry, while in reality they are causing me nothing but additional problems, penalties, and stress.
I strongly recommend against working with this company. Based on my experience, I would recommend looking into Numeral or Ruth at The Jerz Group instead.

This company does not care about you and will take money without doing a single thing. My recent review got a reply saying something would be done. Nothing has been followed up on!
They have been ‘onboarding’ me for a year!! No one replies to emails and won’t do any of the taxes they were brought in to do. I have had legal notices from Idaho saying that fillings haven’t been done.
TAXUALLY are crooks.
DO NOT work with them

I signed my small company on for WEEE and EPR services, and at first, I did actually experience a bit of a crucial mistake on their part, since it seems, after all payments were handled, I wasn't properly onboarded by the team that was supposed to take care of this.
However, once I notified them, they took this very seriously, and since then, the customer service experience has been immaculate to a degree, where I am very satisfied.
I originally chose Taxually due to competitive pricing and what seemed like a seamless integration across D2C and Amazon sales, so I still have yet to fully evaluate that, but I'll say the competence, service level and friendliness of their customer service is so far a 5/5.
I will update the review, if the operational services don't live up to my expectations.

We've been a Taxually customer for several years, and recently I had more occasions to reach out for help with our VAT filing process. The assistant assigned to our case, Diadem, was extremely helpful in providing guidance through some unclear steps — walking me through how to apply the templates correctly, how to fill them in, and the whole process for submitting additional data to Taxually.
Since I'm the one submitting our tax calculations, it was important to me that I fully understood each step and that the documentation was correct. Diadem has been very patient throughout this process and consistently encouraged me to ask questions whenever I needed clarification. The response rate has been consistently high, and I really appreciate being able to reach out with questions about our tax affairs and get clear, timely answers.

I engaged them to get my EPR number for PPWR in Spain. A few weeks have passed, and they have not even submitted the application for me.
I've asked for a timeline when they will submit, and they refuse to give one - just stating you are in a queue. I could be waiting years!!
Surely any proper company has visibility into the number of applications it is dealing with and how long each takes to process each to be able to give an estimate. Something doesn't add up!

For me Taxually is the partner who helps me with the VAT services in countries from UE. I am a seller on marketplaces in Europe and they helped me to obtain the VAT numbers and fill the documents required from the authorities from the countries where I`m selling my product. I have a very good experience with Taxually team, they having a very short time for replying at my problems.

In the beginning my experience with Taxually was quite rough. It was hard to reach support and get the DE VAT registration in motion. It took almost 2 months before the process started. Once it started it went actually very quick.
Luckily I got in contact with two great customer support members (Dematrius and Nice) at some moment. Especially Dematrius provided me with a lot of details regarding the taxation and helped to solve problems with PVA imports to UK. Now I am very happy with support from Taxually side. The portal works good as well.

Like a few others have mentioned, their system as well as customer support are a complete disaster. In my experience, they are not capable of reliably performing the service they are selling.
Their software automatically generated incorrect VAT returns and automatically approved them. In one case, it calculated the VAT due on a £100 Shopify sale as around £2,000. I still haven't received an explanation of how this happened or confirmation that the issue has been fixed.
I eventually managed to regenerate the correct return myself after deleting the incorrect one their system had created. I received no replies from their support for several weeks, and there was nothing intuitive about the UI to help understand what was going on. After dropping everything to correct the return before the deadline, I then discovered they hadn't actually submitted it. Customer support only replied after the filing deadline had passed, meaning I will now receive a penalty for a return that their system had automatically approved, but which I have now been told they never submitted.
I've also already paid €1,200 upfront for four quarterly returns. They charge annually which I don't think is right given how poor their service is. Given how difficult and disruptive it is to change VAT providers, paying a year in advance leaves customers in a very difficult position if the service doesn't meet expectations.
I do not recommend this company.

Been using Taxually for our EU VAT compliance (FR/IT/DE registrations) for a while now. The onboarding took a bit of time to get used to
The dashboard has a lot of moving parts and it wasn't immediately obvious where everything was but once you get the hang of it, the whole process runs smoothly on its own. Filings are handled reliably and on time, and their support team has been responsive whenever I had questions. It's a solid, practical tool for sellers who need multi-country VAT handled without having to think about it every month. Would recommend, just budget a little time upfront to learn the platform.

We are a UK based Amazon seller and have been using different VAT service providers for our EU VAT filings since 2020. After working with several well known providers, we switched to Taxually in July 2024.
Based on our experience, Taxually has been the best VAT service provider we have used so far. Their pricing is reasonable, the filing platform is clear and easy to use, and the whole process is very straightforward. Usually, we only need to review the information and confirm the submission. They also provide clear payment instructions, making VAT management much easier.
Their customer support has also been very good. Emails are normally answered within one or two working days, and the replies are clear and helpful.
We have also used some additional services outside our subscription plan, including retrospective VAT filings. Although these services are more expensive than regular filings, the pricing is still within the normal market range. Recently, Taxually helped us resolve an issue with our 2024 German annual VAT return caused by incomplete data during our previous agent transition. This was covered by our subscription plan, so no additional fees were charged.
Our only suggestion would be to consider reducing the price of some additional services outside the subscription plan, such as retrospective filings.
Overall, we are very happy with Taxually and will continue using their services. We would recommend them to any business looking for a reliable VAT provider for EU countries.

Our experience with Taxually has been extremely poor so far. We requested VAT registration in Poland in June, and by June 29 we had provided all documents, clarifications, and payment. A month later, as far as we can tell, they still have not formally filed our VAT registration with the Polish authorities.
They repeatedly lose documents and forget clarifications we've already provided, then ask for the same information again — even after we remind them it was already sent.
Communication has been consistently poor: they go silent for a week or more at a time, and only respond after multiple follow-ups from us. When they do reply, they apologize and promise it won't happen again — and then it happens again.
The last straw was being invoiced and charged for VAT filing services in a country where our VAT registration hasn't even been filed yet. This came after they had already promised us two months of complimentary filings as an apology for their earlier lack of communication.
We are now looking into this with our bank, have requested a refund from Taxually, and will dispute the charge if the refund isn't issued.
The only visible progress after a month is a one-page Word document constituting the application itself — we still have no confirmation that it has actually been filed with the authorities.
Given all this, it's very unlikely we'll continue using their services once (and if) our VAT registration is finally completed.

I signed up with Taxually in January 2026 to handle my EU VAT registration through Romania. Six months later, I still do not have a VAT number — and my business remains blocked from operating in the EU.
Here is what happened:
Wrong documents. In March, Taxually sent me power of attorney documents for notarization — but the PoA named Taxually as the fiscal representative instead of their own Romanian partner, Ancor. I paid €304.80 to notarize the wrong documents because of their error.
Lost documents. The same shipment contained my EIN Letter and Articles of Organization. The package was delivered to Taxually's Budapest office (confirmed by DHL tracking and the notary). Their team lost those documents and spent weeks insisting they were never sent.
Third notarization. After I paid €177.80 re-doing the notarization the documents were sent directly to their Romanian fiscal representative in Arad. That was June 5. The package arrived June 10.
Silence. Since June 17, I have received zero communication from Taxually. My onboarding manager simply stopped responding. I have been sending follow-ups — including one copied to the company's founder — with no reply. Meanwhile, I continue to receive automated emails asking for documents that were submitted and delivered months ago.
I became the project manager. Throughout this process, I was the one chasing updates between Taxually, the notary, and their Romanian partner. Nothing moved unless I pushed it.
In total, I have spent over €2,200 — setup fees, monthly fees, and three separate notarizations — for a VAT number that does not exist. The only thing Taxually has delivered consistently is monthly invoices.
If you are considering Taxually for your VAT registration, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

We have been clients of Taxually since 2024, when our previous accounting firm for Amazon sales withdrew and left our accounts finalized incompletely. Taxually took over our account and brought everything up to date with utmost professionalism. Furthermore, they have provided prompt support whenever we encountered a problem. They continuously show dedication and professionalism. We sincerely recommend their services.
