Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 197 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Consumers frequently struggle with the desktop application and website, reporting persistent login errors, broken forms, and severe difficulties when trying to update personal account details. People note that customer service teams often provide unhelpful automated responses or completely fail to resolve frustrating account recovery issues. Many users feel that games purchased on digital storefronts become entirely inaccessible due to these constant launcher errors and poor system integration. Some reviewers were happy with the assistance they received, mentioning that knowledgeable support agents quickly and efficiently resolved account access problems without unnecessary delays.

Ubisoft needs to sell its company

The whole company needs selling they don’t care about their fan base anymore n this new rainbow six siege event pack change just says it all imagine the in game free currency is now useless if you want to participate in the events now you need to pay them 40£ to 50£ each event stupid idea just shows you how much they’re scraping the bottom of the barrel
It’s like just because your new assassin‘s creed games are awful n not making money because of how awful they are you punish your other games fan base here is an idea make a good game n leave your successful games alone at the end of the day your killing your reputation as a gaming company n it will fall back on you when ppl move on to companies that actually care about their fan base do better Ubisoft I’ve play siege for 10 years n this is a huge spit in my face

My 9 year old son received 'just dance' on Nintendo switch from his aunt and uncle. Firstly It was a code, not a cartridge. It took about 30 mins to work out how to actually play it. I had to create a ubisoft account, but could not actually do it via the switch as the UI is utter garbage. I had to eventually create an account on my phone then log in on switch. After playing it for a short time quickly realised it was limited by a subscription wall, and internet connections. Totally ruining people's enjoyment of games. I'll never buy another game from them.

WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET!

It deserves this rating. Literally the worst company on planet Earth. It was a good company back then, but it is miserable now.

Rainbow Six Siege literally became the worst game. Worst servers in gaming history, worst rank system, you get kicked BECAUSE OF R6 SERVERS, and you GET A PENALTY FOR THIS!!! YOU are the one getting the penalty for UBISOFT'S FAULT!! Ridiculous...
Also, the rank system is a piece of crap, but I don't even want to talk about that...

Also, support is literally non-existent. They NEVER answer, your reports don't work, they don't care about the userbase and playerbase at all. Like not in the slightest. They just don't give a damn at all...

WORST COMPANY ON THE PLANET!

Terrible Customer service

Terrible Customer service, They PRETEND to forget about what the issue while I asked for refund money that I used to pay for the game, they keep telling me to wait and keep closing my tickets. Never hand you money to the company that doesn't care about their customers and getting scammed.

They're like reverse Midas

They're like reverse Midas. Everything they do turns to the oppsite of gold. The absolute opposite. Just plain starts with an S, smells bad and is brown. Customer service is absolute worst. Their Ubisoft Connect launcher is an absolute fiasco. Their verification and password reset emails (trust me, you're going to request plenty) take 5 to 200 business days to appear with a 5 minute timer you have to click the link in. Its just bad. Dont use it.

Personally I bought a game key from a keyshop and didn't notice its for Ubisoft Connect until it was too late. I didnt even bother refunding, bought another for Steam instead.

Terrible website UI - deliberately stops cancellation, predatory behaviour

Wow, how does a billion dollar company have such a bad website UI? Trying to cancel the recurring subscription we never realised we were paying for, it is making it close to impossible in a standard chrome browser. It is redirecting us back to the home page every few seconds. Even though we have repeatedly clicked "Cancel subscription" but can't see if it worked because it goes back to home page repeatedly. Extremely frustrating experience. I guess we will need to ask for support to cancel a basic subscription or better yet apply for a charge back on our credit card.

Ubisoft Connect "Locking" you out of your own tech support case!

I experienced an issue with updating a game with Ubisoft Connect, for which I logged a ticket with Tech Support. They couldn't help and asked me to log my issue on their Discord channel.

After fulfilling their trouble-shooting steps, they "locked" my thread so I can't follow-up or ask any more questions, citing "the issue is still under active investigation." No response for a few weeks now, and I've essentially lost my money I paid for this game. I'm less confident now of purchasing future games from Ubisoft. Shame, their games are good, but their Tech Support processes aren't!

Terrible customer support

I hate this company with a passion. Ubisoft support takes ages before responding and when they finally do, you get generated answers from a bot that just refers to their useless articles. Their communication is terrible and it feels like everyone and their grandma could do a better job than the employees that work there. There is a reason why they have so many bad reviews.Ubisoft really have to look over their customer support as soon as possible.

Never in my 26 years have I ever used a system so aggressively useless and backwards. If I didn't know better, I would say that Ubisoft Connect was designed for peak inefficiency. Without a doubt the worst job they could have done. Would have given zero stars if it was possible

Ubisoft Support is an actual nightmare

Ubisoft Support is an actual nightmare. If you’ve forgotten the email address you used 10 years ago and try to change it, you’ll be met with some of the worst customer support known to mankind.

You can basically give up on trying to change the email, as you’ll have to speak with 10 different people and go through a combined 40 emails back and forth, only for them to tell you that you don’t have enough information to prove that you’re the rightful owner of the account.

Yeah, that was their conclusion after an “investigation” into an account I’ve had for more than 10 years.

Please, whatever you do, don’t ever forget the email address you created when you were 11, because apparently, you can never change it again when signing up for Ubisoft Connect.

Worst User Experience & Ridiculous Security Process

I created an account on my mobile in the morning and tried logging in from my PC at night, only to face pure security harassment. Even after entering the correct password, the system forced me to reset it. I went through the hassle of resetting my password, but right after that I was hit with an error claiming that "too many attempts were made from the same IP" and blocked me from logging in.

What kind of system design is this? Does this mean I can't even access my own account after following every procedure? This is by far the worst website experience I've ever had

I’m really glad I faced this terrible problem before investing any money, otherwise my hard earned money would have been completely wasted. What a useless and trash website. I will definitely not buy any games from here, nor will I ever let any of my gamer friends purchase anything from this platform. They are harassing genuine users under the name of "security.
