I used my right to cancel.

I used my right to cancel.. but they canceled me on the phone.

I thought nice company let me try.. from the moment I saw it was not what I was searching for I send a email for stopping the bill. They send me a confirmation. Still get a bill from a month. When you call customers service.. they will hang up in your ear and tell you to make a ticket. First off all.. if you use third party's for your services and asking the providing company money for it.. you should work for it. Second off all.. in The Netherlands you have always the right to cancel a subscription in 14 day with knowing to the other party.
Nothing what I sayed before happend. I would not use it.

Hi Damian,

I’m sorry to hear that your website is gone.

As frustrating as this situation must be for you, I do want to respond to this and push back on what you said. That is simply not how things happened. We never just delete a website without reason. What reason would we have to do that? We are a hosting company that sells hosting, so why would we suddenly remove your hosting without reason?

On top of that, our Support team would never say, “Go away, stop bothering us, we can’t help you.” It may be that, due to the circumstances, it is no longer possible to restore the website, for example if the backups have expired, but we would never simply send you away.

For privacy reasons, I cannot go into too much detail about your specific situation here. However, if you send us a message through your control panel, or email support@transip.nl, I can explain your situation in more detail through that channel.

Hi,

I understand you have had a poor experience. That is not good to read. Could you be a bit more specific about what you mean by the claims you are making here?

You mention that we lie about the time of delivery. Is this about a product that was delivered to you? You also mention “shit quality”. Could you indicate which product or service this refers to, and what exactly makes the quality so poor in your view?

We always take claims like this very seriously and would like to use your feedback to improve our services. To do that, we do need to understand what exactly went wrong in your case, and where we may be able to improve this for you and for other customers.

I hope to hear from you. Please send your feedback via a message from your control panel or to support@transip.nl. If you address it to Beau, I will personally look into it.

Dont you want more spam emails, phishing links, and malware?

They host cites that designates ips under their control as permitted sender to send spam emails, phishing links, and malware. When presented with evidence, their response was
"Yes, we contacted our customer and we did not receive any notifications regarding phishing mail sent from this server after. The issue seems resolved."
So they asked a group of criminals if they sent the link, and then just moved on. So criminals make sure to vote 5 stars

Hi Vic,

I think this is a case of miscommunication. Of course, we do not ask a bad actor whether they are abusing our services. They will always say no. What my colleague meant is that we informed the customer that we had received an abuse report and that we expected them to take action. After that, we did not receive any further reports for that specific customer, so we assumed the issue had been resolved.

We never take a server offline immediately after a single report. We only do that if we receive multiple reports, or if we do not receive confirmation that the issue has been resolved.

So it is absolutely not the case that we simply allow abusers onto our platform and fail to act against them. Quite the opposite. We take these reports very seriously and are grateful to everyone who brings them to our attention.

If you are still receiving spam from this specific customer of ours, please do let us know. We can then take targeted action.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants one.

I rarely leave reviews, but this experience warrants one.

Due to outdated company details on my account (an inactive email address and bank account), I missed a payment on my 2-year contract. I take full responsibility for that. I paid the outstanding invoice including interest, and immediately contacted TransIP to update my payment information and prevent this from happening again.

Their response was to permanently block my account.
I accepted that, moved on, and assumed the matter was closed. Then I received another notice from the debt collection agency for a new outstanding invoice, on an account I had already been locked out of, sent to an email address I had explicitly told them was no longer active.
This is the core issue: I proactively reached out to fix the problem, was clear about not receiving emails, and was blocked before I could make any changes. TransIP created the exact conditions for this situation to repeat itself, and then held me responsible when it did.

Not just poor service. A process that actively works against the customer.

Hi RJ,

I completely understand. You reached out to let us know you overlooked an invoice, that can happen to anyone. Given the situation, you actually did everything right, and still ended up here.

This is not an excuse, but an explanation of the process. Our process for unpaid invoices is fully automated. So being blocked initially and eventually being referred to a collection agency is the result of that automated flow.

However, once you contact our support team and explain your situation and your intention to pay the invoice, they should take you out of this automated process and work with you to find a suitable solution. Our sincere apologies that this did not happen in your case.

Could you please send an email to support@transip.nl, for the attention of Beau? I would be happy to resolve this for you. I hope to hear from you soon.

Going downhill fast

Having been in business with TransIP for over a decade before they rebranded to team.blue, they have since regressed into going back on their promises, being too expensive and having customer support that can not or will not answer basic questions, saying certain options are impossible even though they have been in use for years. I have since moved away from any of their (or their subsidiaries) services.

Hi Ted,

You are correct that we have been part of team.blue for several years now. Being part of such a large organization should only bring advantages for you as a customer. Over the past few years, for example, our product portfolio has expanded significantly, allowing us to offer our customers a more complete range of services and products.

That said, I am sorry to read that this has not been your experience. That is certainly never our intention. You mentioned several points that genuinely concern me, and I hope you would be willing to elaborate a bit further.

You indicated that we have gone back on our promises. Could you clarify what exactly you mean by that and which promises you feel were not kept? A promise should be a promise. You also mentioned Customer Support not answering basic questions and certain options no longer being possible even though you have been using them for years. I would very much like to understand those points as well.

We truly value feedback, and your review is important to us. I hope you would be willing to be a bit more specific so we can look into this for you, resolve any issues, and make structural improvements where necessary. Could you please send the details through a message from your control panel addressed to Beau? I would be happy to review it personally.

Hi Michel,

It is correct that if you pay your invoice late, we may ultimately charge collection costs.

However, collection costs are only applied if an invoice remains unpaid for more than nine weeks. During that period, we send multiple reminder emails and SMS messages.

You also indicate that you have made several late payments before. In that case, you are familiar with the process and know what actions to take to avoid statutory collection costs.

By the way, there is always room for a solution if you have overlooked an invoice once and, as a result, run into collection costs. In that case, contact support. They are more than willing to help you out.

Very bad experience

I’ve had a very frustrating experience with TransIP. My account was blocked due to outstanding invoices, which made it impossible for me to cancel my services myself. Because of this, new invoices kept being generated even though I was unable to access my account or stop the services.

I paid the invoices multiple times just to regain control, but the account remained blocked and more charges continued to appear. Support told me that cancellations could only be processed after payments, but the system never actually allowed me to cancel anything afterwards. I even had to pay some invoices twice. After payment, my account was still blocked. I basically couldn’t use any of the services for months, even though I was paying for them.

On top of that, they involved debt collection agencies while I was unable to access my account or cancel the services, which made the situation even worse.

The situation keeps repeating: more invoices, no access, no clear resolution.

This has been one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve had with a company. I hope TransIP reconsiders its policies, because customers should never be trapped in a loop of charges, account blocks, and debt collectors without a way to cancel.

Hello,

I can imagine this was a very unpleasant and frustrating experience.

To be honest, the situation surprises me, because this is absolutely not how we operate. The process around unpaid invoices is fully automated.

If an invoice is not paid, you first receive multiple reminders over the course of several months. If payment is still not made, we eventually block the unpaid services. If payment continues to be outstanding, we then block all services and the account. That is what happened in your case.

However, we do not fully block your account. Certain parts are restricted, but you always retain access to your services (to cancel them) and to your invoices (to pay them). So the statement that you were unable to cancel due to unpaid invoices is not correct. It is possible that something else went wrong on a technical level. I also find it strange that my colleagues would have indicated that payment was required before cancellation.

You also mention that you paid certain invoices multiple times, but that they remained marked as unpaid. That is unusual. Did you make the payments directly via the control panel? I am happy to investigate what went wrong here. If the payments were made manually (via bank transfer), processing can take longer.

The final step in the process is involving a collection agency, but only after months of non-payment, multiple reminders, and service blocks. This step is also automated. In your case, however, something clearly went wrong, since you indicate that the invoices were in fact paid.

Could you please send me a message via your control panel (this section remains accessible even if an account is blocked), addressed to Beau? I will then look into what happened with the payments and why the cancellation did not work as expected.

Do NOT use Transip.

Do NOT use Transip.

I've been there for years, they started out really cool and had decent pricing. Kept raising prices year over year, and with the latest price increase my monthly bills are just absolutely outrageous.

I am going to cheaper domain and hosting(never even used them for that, they were already WAY expensive for what they offer) providers. Domain names are so expensive, it's stupid.

Total scam

I explored web hosting and wanted to try it out with a domain. After forgetting about having the domain I forgot about being registered. A year later I get an email with a deduction of a large amount of money for the domains without notifying me.
Looking at the bill of which %60 percent of the cost is for the .online domain that they sold to me as a package, which I did not needed.
This feels like their business model is luring customers in by appearing cheap and by getting a deal, to later on deduct a large amount of money from my bank account without notifying me.

Hi Ries,

I understand that you found this very unpleasant to experience; that’s unfortunate to hear. That’s absolutely not our intention.

It’s correct that we offer different bundles and discounts. Bundels are always a choice you make yourself. Option 1 is always just the domain with the extension you select. So you never automatically get a .online added, only if you choose it yourself.

If you do opt for a bundle, we can imagine that after a year you might have forgotten about it. That’s why we always send a reminder for the renewal of our bundle domains to the email address you provided in your account. We do this well in advance, giving you plenty of time to cancel before the renewal.

Because we incur direct costs when renewing domains, these costs are passed on to you as a customer.

Despite all this, we’re generally very accommodating when it comes to bundle domains. Could you send a message from your account addressed to Beau Huisman? Then I’ll gladly take a look with you at what we can do regarding the invoice.

I hope to hear from you soon!

Shady Ali Niknam company

Shady price increases and automatic billing. Be careful, they will find a way to overcharge you. They are experts at increasing your bill without you noticing. Only when you take a closer look you see that you've been 'legally' scammed.

Unsurprising because this is an Ali Niknam company.

Pizzeria La Bella da Yuki is the kind of place you fall in love with after the first bite. The pizzas are incredible thin, crisp crust, fresh toppings, and that perfect wood-fired flavor you can’t fake. You can taste the care that goes into everything. Yuki and the team are always welcoming, treating everyone like regulars. Service is quick, friendly, and genuine. The place has that cozy, authentic Italian vibe that makes you want to stay for another slice of pizza. Easily one of the best pizzerias around real food, real people, and pure quality in every slice.

Avoid like the plague !!

Used them for a webdomein name. Was unreachable half the time which really hurt both my business and credibility.

After canceling the website and all things connected to it, i figured it to be fine. Until months after i was hit with a bill and a late fee for the domain, which i had cancelled. Despite having provided evidence (yes evidence) that i had cancelled everything within an hour of each other, they deemed they were entitled to the money for a domain name i had ZERO use for or intention to keep using. And claiming they couldn’t see anything in their system. Sending an agency after me to demand payment.

Terrible service, terrible policies, money hungry and rude staff.

As the title suggests. Avoid like the plague.

Dear Jack, This sounds very dissapointing, while most of our customers indicate that our network is very stable, your experience appears to be different. I can’t determine whether this might be related to your specific settings, especially now that the service has already been cancelled.

Following that, there was an issue with the cancellation process, which unfortunately required us to involve a collections agency.

I’d be happy to personally look into it, if the matter is still unresolved and see how we can assist you further. Please send a message via your control panel addressed to Jip van Veen.

TransIP’s Deceptive Auto-Renewals

TransIP’s Deceptive Auto-Renewals – Know Your Consumer Rights

Review:

TransIP seems to operate with systematic auto-renewal practices that many users find deceptive or hidden. Numerous Trustpilot reviewers have expressed frustration over:

Being charged for automatic renewals without proper notice
Lack of a clear or accessible option to disable auto-renewal in the control panel
Poor customer service and generic, copy-paste responses
A noticeable lack of personalized handling, suggesting an overwhelmed support team and high complaint volume.
These are not isolated incidents. Several reviews (e.g. from January, March, and April 2025) describe similar experiences, warning others about hidden charges and confusing cancellation processes.

If you’ve faced similar issues, here’s what you can do:
You have consumer protection rights under Dutch and EU law. TransIP cannot rely solely on buried terms or unclear interfaces to justify charging you.

You can file a formal complaint with the following authorities:

Complete lack of clear communication and no solution offered, what a scam!

What a negative experience I had with TransIP!
When I signed up one year ago they offered me a second domain free of charge. I did not need it but I got it just in case.
Along the year I received communications only for the main domain, and as I had to close my project I decide to take the time to deselect the automatic renewal for it with proper time in advance.
To my surprise, I find out that I have been charged for a full year on that secondary domain!
I contacted the customer support immediately but they did not offer any refund for it, despite I explained that there was no communication given for this second domain and that I am requesting a refund as it was not my intention to renew it at all.
What a scam! I am very disappointed and frustrated by the way the situation has been handled by them.
Do yourself a favour and avoid this company at all costs.

What a shame to hear that you’ve had negative experiences with service renewals at multiple organizations. I understand that it’s frustrating to be required to pay for a full year when you want to cancel on the invoicing day.

Unfortunately, I can't find an account for you in our system based on the information here, so I can't assess my colleague’s reasoning for not granting a goodwill exception.

Could you send a message from your control panel, addressed to Nico? I’d be happy to take a look and see what we can do for you in this situation. There’s often still something possible.

I hope to hear from you!

TransIP provides a decent service with quick and reliable customer support, often responding within an hour, even during weekends and late evenings. However, they fall short when it comes to notifying customers about renewals, only sending invoices after the renewal costs have been incurred. Their dashboard offers great control but can initially be confusing. While they have corrected billing issues promptly after being contacted, their transition of services like Stack from free to paid without adequate notice is a concern. Overall, a mixed experience balancing effective support and communication issues.
