I would like to appreciate Wunderflats for the services they have provided me. Just within 1-2 days I got my apartment near by my workplace. I just want to special thank Milan M my manager who put all the efforts to make this deal very easy and simple for me. I will recommend my friends to take Wunderflats services when they need any apartment in Germany. Good work Milan M again........
Landlord does not pay back the deposit. Apparently not the problem of Wunderflats.
Be aware, individual landlords can easily do this, not much you can do about it. Hiring a lawyer is usually more expensive.

1/5 – Not recommended
I strongly do not recommend Wunderflats.
As long as everything works, it's fine. But when a problem arises, there is virtually no customer support. They charge a service fee, yet emails go unanswered, the booking team does not respond, and it is almost impossible to get any help.
We waited for our rental agreement without any updates despite multiple follow-ups. The lack of communication, professionalism, and customer care is extremely disappointing.
If you expect support when something goes wrong, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

Renting an apartment remotely through Wunderflats was a completely seamless experience. Their communication was fantastic, always quick, clear, and helpful throughout the process. I am very satisfied with the service and highly recommend them!

I am writing this review to share my very disappointing experience with Wunderflats' service and billing management.
• Property Mismatch & Hygiene: The apartment provided was completely different from what I booked, cramped, and had severe hygiene issues in the bathroom/WC.
• Unjustified Debt Collection: I paid my service fee in August 2025 and received written confirmation from a company representative in March 2026 that I had a €0 remaining balance. Despite this, Wunderflats referred my account to a debt collection agency.
• No Communication: I have sent multiple emails over the past 3+ months seeking clarification. Neither Wunderflats nor the debt collection agency has provided an explanation, yet the collection process remains active.
Having my emails ignored while facing threats to my SCHUFA score due to an error on their end is completely unacceptable. Due to this ongoing harassment, I have been forced to take legal steps against them.

Avoid Wunderflats at all costs.
The landlord demanded an additional payment that was not included in the rental agreement and later unlawfully withheld part of my security deposit without providing any valid justification or evidence.
I contacted Wunderflats for help, but they did absolutely nothing. They did not protect me, did not resolve the issue and eventually did not even respond to my messages.
This platform offers no meaningful support when a landlord ignores the contract and keeps a tenant’s money without justification. Wunderflats appears to take no responsibility whatsoever once a problem arises.
Based on my experience, tenants cannot rely on this platform for protection, assistance or even basic communication. I strongly recommend staying far away from Wunderflats.

I moved out on June 14th, leaving the apartment early as a favor so their new tenant could move in. They retrieved the keys and confirmed via email on June 15th that the apartment was checked and everything was fine. I provided my IBAN on June 16th. It has been over a month now, and they are holding my deposit and my 1-day rent difference. They are completely ignoring my follow-up emails. Highly unprofessional service once they take your money. If this is not resolved immediately, I am taking legal action through the Berliner Mieterverein
Amazing service with Wunderflat, Steffen was super available and helpful along the way, looking forward to move in.

I am very disappointed with the customer support provided by Wunderflats.
Due to an unexpectedly delayed registration appointment (Anmeldung) from the German immigration authorities, my family and I had to leave the apartment earlier than planned. The landlord agreed to our early move-out.
I contacted Wunderflats several times because the landlord informed me that she intends to deduct €140 from my security deposit due to the Wunderflats commission for August. I did not ask Wunderflats to refund any money to me. I simply asked them to clarify the situation and, if appropriate, refund the August commission directly to the landlord.
Unfortunately, despite sending multiple emails, I have not received any response. I also tried contacting them through other channels without success.
I expected much better customer service, especially in a situation that directly affects my security deposit. I sincerely hope someone from Wunderflats will finally contact me and help resolve this issue.

Great experience at first with great support from Manel from the Paris office. I was really happy until a week ago.
But after 6 months, I am now being harassed by email by Pair Finance who allegedly have been mandated by Wunderflats to collect an invoice that I have paid !!!
Manel has nothing to do with this of course. But the accounting team of Wunderflats needs to do a better job !
update from July 16 :
Manel called me and told me to ignore the Pair Finance emails which are automatically generated. I had received 2 emails over the night from july 15 to July 16 ! Again Manel is VERY helpful.
Note that the alleged unpaid invoice (for which I have a Wunderflats invoice that shows that it has been paid in full!) dates back from April 2026 and that I had received no reminder until Pair Finance automated email barrage started.
Through Trustpilot, I also got a request from Wunderflats to provide more details, which I did, in hope not faith that this would help resolve the situation.
I'll be happy to correct my evaluation when all is resolved.
Update from July 20 : I still get the threats from Pair Finance and despite providing the details of my contract and invoice to Wunderflats on this platform. Wunderflats has not communicated anything back to me.
Just Manel assures me that I should forget about these messages.

It was a very smooth experience for us, at first I was doubtful but I was contacted by support and my contact partner Samir was very professional and competent, he accelerated the contact between me and the landlord and within a day after viewing the apartment in Hamburg we signed the contract.
Thank you Samir for your fast and efficient communication that made the procedure this easy and smooth for me.

I would like to share my personal experience with Wunderflats.
I am a student living in Berlin. I rented an apartment through Wunderflats and stayed there for only four months. After I moved out, my landlord deducted €2,200 from my deposit, claiming it was for mold damage.
I do not believe this was my responsibility, and I contacted Wunderflats to ask for assistance. Unfortunately, they informed me that they could not help resolve the dispute with the landlord.
I have also heard from other tenants that it can be difficult to get the full security deposit back when renting through Wunderflats. While I cannot confirm those experiences myself, my own experience has been very disappointing.
Based on my experience, I encourage anyone considering booking through Wunderflats to carefully review the rental agreement, thoroughly document the apartment's condition with photos and videos when moving in and out, and understand how deposit disputes are handled before making a booking.

I found an apartment on Wunderflats listed as all-inclusive (electricity and internet included, confirmed with green checkmarks in the cost overview). After paying the €299 service fee, I received the rental contract — which contained a Section 14 that directly contradicted the listing, stating that electricity and Wi-Fi were NOT included, with Wi-Fi costing an additional €35/month.
When I contacted Wunderflats, they confirmed in writing that the listing was incorrect. However, the platform had allowed a licensed real estate agent (Makler) to advertise misleading terms to international students who are under time pressure and unfamiliar with German law. The listing was designed to look like a private, all-inclusive rental — the contract told a different story.
The landlord never responded to my email flagging the discrepancy. I ultimately found alternative housing and received my service fee back after persistent follow-up.
Wunderflats refunding the fee was the right outcome, but the platform needs stronger verification of landlord listings — particularly the match between advertised terms and actual contracts. International students are a vulnerable group and this kind of discrepancy costs real money and causes serious stress.
Use Wunderflats with caution, and always demand the full contract before paying any fees.
