Truly terrible
Truly terrible. Condescending, arrogant staff more interested in being right and winning an argument than helping their customers that pay a small fortune for their goods.
After being an Apple customer for over 15 years i will never buy one of their products again.
Not surprised by the bad reviews
Literally got charged twice in one week for what was meant to be a monthly subscription and in six days two payments were taken, when I tried to rebuke this twice by reporting and issue to apple support to sort this, I was deny, not surprised when I can came to review apple and they have a pathetic rating for their services, don’t treat people with respect.
One star because zero is not allowed
One star because zero is not allowed. I have a 5 year old MacBook Pro that worked perfectly until apparently Apple decided my password was no good. I figured out how to change my password on my Apple account webpage. The laptop will not accept it. I finally got support to start a “case” on it. However, I don’t have my original receipt. They gave me a case number but I can’t find anywhere to follow up on that and they have provided no updates. I’ve tried everything I can find online to fix this issue so I can get MY FILES off of this thing and find another laptop but all I can do is got locked in a loop and locked out because I tried too many times. If I go to the “genius” bar they want to charge me a ridiculous amount of money to “fix” it. I just may be done with Apple.
This company should be closed down the…
This company should be closed down the Apple support call centre is shocking with some advisors.
I wouldn’t mind but I only have a iPhone 14 and had for 6 years and my phone was frozen in the Apple wallet first time ever on 25/08/2026 not been able to make transaction and calls ect
This is worrying if a major accident accounts and I can’t ring out . My pin was getting getting disabled each time I entered , and a line across my screen very strange
Ended up in Apple Store trinity and even they had to try five times to reset device and got it working ,which I was chuffed about.
Now today 27/08/2026 ended up with the same issue on a transaction in my wallet trying to pay for a item how embarrassing…..so then again after work Ended up at trinity Center again after work
disgusting
Now booked in with a engineer on Monday to get to the bottom of this
These software issues should not be happening for you not to make calls especially incase of emergency I’m annoyed as I have been with Apple numerous years.
No support on call support and also I will not be getting another Apple phone to go through this in the future final
I would rate a zero if possible
I would rate a zero if possible. Horribly incompetent service. Call center staff just repeat scripted lines over and over, the website provides no useful information, and the chat service connects you to a center in India with even less useful information.
Tim Cooke takes his millions at the expense of providing even a basically competent customer service experience. Well done, Apple.
Apple Terrible Support
I replaced my iPhone 12 Pro battery back in March. The battery seemed faulty but never gave a second thought about it since I trusted that battery replacement by Apple would not have issues. Now is end of August, I sensed something just isn't right because the battery drains quickly and often gets hot. I went to the Apple store and according to them that the diagnostic did not comeback negative. And because it's outside of the 90 day warranty, I'd have to pay for a new battery if I were to have it replaced. They told me at the store that I'd have to contact Apple Support to see if they can waive the charge for the replacement. When I called Apple Support and explained to them the situation, I was told to go back to the store, and that they are the only to waive the charge. I had to remind them that the store told me to call Support. After being on the phone with Apple Support for over 30 minutes, I was told that I'd have to pay for the replacement if I want it done. What a horrible experience!!! All Apple cares about is to squeeze as money out of your pocket as possible. If you charge $89 to replace a battery, you need to have better service. It's totally unacceptable!
I will NEVER BUY A APPLE DEVICE…
I will NEVER BUY A APPLE DEVICE AGAIN!!!!! I got both my daughters 1,000 tablets for Christmas and verified it through Amazon and somehow my 2 factor verification is activated while its locked at my house hidden from anyone to a number I verified isnt a area code in the US and even with being connected to the email and trying every single thing they provided me to do I am officially done trying to fix it and will NEVER PURCHASE A APPLE PRODUCT FOR ANYTHING. ITS ABSOLUTELY HACKABLE OR I WOULD BE ON THE TABLET.
STAY AWAY FROM APPLE IF YOU CAN
I purchased a laptop through their website. I received a confirmation email. I took the day off to sign for the order because they said someone had to be here. I never received any other form of correspondence. I had to go into the initial email. Click into the order to find out THEY CANCELLED MY ORDER with NO DETAILS OR CORRESPONDENCE AS TO WHY!! I reached out to customer service and all they said is oh yea it was cancelled. You have to go place it again. Thats it!! No explanation, no care, no concern, no resolution on losing a day and having to take another day. They even told me so just go to the store. The dismissal and lack of resolution provided to correct their mistake. Now I see why the ratings are so low and getting worse and worse. Horrible! Unprofessional!!
Trying to set up a developer account
Trying to set up a developer account. They took my money fine - but it's been almost a week and it's just pending. I gave up and tried callingtheir support, which calls you back. So far I've been waiting 45 minutes with annoying hold music that makes me wanna tear my own eyes out. When did Apple become so shit? Was it a gradual thing or is it recent? I'm quite technical so luckily I've never needed them for anything. Thank heavens for small mercies. I pray I never need them again.
An amount was taken out of my account…
An amount was taken out of my account which I could not identify and which did not go through my Apple account. After several calls to Apple to try and identify what this was fir, i was told they would not tell me what the purchase was for. I did not ask for any personal details or any other information, just what it was for, seeing as i had paid for it and in essence the product/subscription belongs to me. Unfortunately Apple does not have any interest in that and the name of the product is protected more than my bank account.
Applecare+ is a waste of money
Applecare+ "Unlimited" warranty has lots of limitations. The Apple representative set an appointment at Best Buy for the repair. The representative said Best Buy would fix it today. They could not. After waiting almost an hour, Best buy told me it takes 3-5 days and will cost between $50 and $400. The second apple representative said I could get next day replacement, but it takes 5 days. 5 DAYS for next day replacement. I am very disappointed. I have been paying for Applecare + for years. Today, I needed help to get my iPad fixed for my business. I am dead in the water without it. Instead of help, I was told it would cost more money 5 days to get it fixed or get a replacement. Apple used to be a great company that cared about it customers. I don't know what happened.
AppleCare not what it promised to be.
My iPhone stopped accepting charge on Wednesday. I booked into my nearest Apple shop on Thursday afternoon and had to travel park etc. The technician ran several tests on my phone before concluding that it indeed would not charge. I was offered a repair but would have to wait for a couple of hours. I explained that I had AppleCare and requested my right to a new phone. The technician agreed that I met the criteria but said that a call centre would call me about it and that he couldn’t replace the phone in store. I was called by a call centre and after about 30mins got my replacement phone approved. It be is now Sat afternoon and my new phone has still not been delivered. All of this could have sorted out in the shop had the AppleCare policy been a slick as was promised when I took the policy out. Still sat at home waiting with a defective phone.
I have been begging since June to have…
I have been begging since June to have some unauthorized charges reversed on my account I have talked to several support agents either through chat or the phone. The last one I spoke to was supposed to be a senior advisor. He had no empathy whatsoever either and no help from them resolving my issue today. So Apple, don’t care about my finances and punishing me for something I didn’t do. I have ordered me a new Samsung android phone and I will never have another Apple device in my house or in my hands. Customer service with a joke and I think all of them need to be re-schooled on empathy.
Clearly Apple could care less about…
Clearly Apple could care less about their customers. Wow, makes some really rethink using Apple products. I used chat support and got Jaden. Literally all I was trying to do was send back a cable I purchased which did not work for my device. I was one or two days outside the ridiculous 14 day return window and Jaden said he could not do anything to help. Besides saying sorry a bunch of times, he was a big ZERO.
1 Star
1 Star — AppleCare Failed When I Actually Needed It
I paid for AppleCare for approximately six years. Now that my computer is considered “vintage” and Apple says the replacement is covered, they refuse to send the replacement until they first receive my current computer.
The bigger issue is that Apple cannot guarantee how long the replacement will take, meaning I could be left without a computer indefinitely.
Their suggested solution was for me to buy another computer for $699 plus tax and return it once my replacement arrives. Yet Apple’s own return policy is only 14 days, and they cannot guarantee my replacement will arrive within 14 days. So I am expected to risk over $699 because Apple cannot provide a reasonable replacement timeline.
The customer service was just as disappointing. The representative, Michael, would not transfer me to someone else when I asked for further assistance and then told me he was ending the call.
After paying for AppleCare for six years, this is unacceptable. What exactly am I paying for if Apple cannot provide a covered replacement without leaving me without a computer or expecting me to risk hundreds of dollars out of pocket?
AppleCare is supposed to provide peace of mind. My experience has been the exact opposite.
Refusing to refund money that is owed to me.
A developer of an app said I would be entitled to a full refund if i cancelled within 14 days, which I did. However Apple is refusing to refund my money even though I have screenshots of my conversation with the developer.
Lost access to movies I already paid for
I purchased several movies through Apple while living in one country. These were purchases, not rentals.
After moving to another country and changing the country/region of my Apple Account, I lost access to movies I had already paid for. They still appear in Apple’s store, but I am now being asked to buy or rent them again.
I contacted Apple Support and my case was escalated to a senior advisor. The support representatives were polite and professional, but I was ultimately told that Apple could not restore access because the movies had been purchased through another country’s storefront.
I find this policy unacceptable. I paid for these movies — I did not rent them. Moving from one country to another should not make a legitimate purchase effectively unusable.
Imagine buying an iPhone in one country and then being told that after moving to another country you need to buy the same phone again to continue using it. I understand that digital licensing is different, but from a customer’s perspective the result is similar.
I am not asking Apple for anything for free. I simply want continued access to the movies I already paid for.
Apple should provide a way for customers who legitimately change countries or regions to retain or migrate access to their previously purchased digital content.
Unreasonable Security Procedures in iCloud.
I am considering changing my iPhone. Two issues are fundamental: retaining my Number and my Contacts. My number is on the SIM Card but I wanted to transfer contact data to my PC so I had a hard copy. I tried to do this on iCloud but was thwarted in trying to change my password and access my data by hopelessly inept security procedures. These involved identifying distorted, unrecognisable combinations of letters/numbers or as an alternative, listening to inaudible sounds. Neither of these is suitable for elderly people. I therefore had to call Apple Support. The Advisor was courteous and helpful but was limited by the complex procedure necessary to meet my requirements. Considerable time was wasted trying to resolve the issue. There must be better ways of organising what must be a very common customer requirement and Apple needs to address this.
Apple support STOLE my £400 gift…
Apple support STOLE my £400 gift vouchers. Better not to buy apple gift vouchers from anywhere, incase you have a problem to redeem it, they will ask your code and steal it from you whilst they will ask you to send the proof over and over again. Totally SCAM!! You’ll down the hill soon Apple!!
How to get £££ from AppleCare in compensation!
I’ve beaten them - read on to learn how to get appropriate compensation (£100-£300) and cost them up to £680 per complaint for poor service:
AppleCare Express Replacement became an 6 week long ordeal involving over 5½ hours of calls. Not one adviser could resolve it—I identified and managed the solution myself.
Worse, Apple’s advisers did not understand their own Financial Ombudsman process. I had to coach them through Apple’s policy, after which they suddenly began offering unwanted accessories as compensation.
UK customers: AppleCare+ is insurance. After an unsatisfactory final response—or eight weeks without resolution—you can refer your complaint to the Financial Ombudsman Service free of charge. It may award compensation, while Apple/AIG may incur an Ombudsman case fee of up to £680.
Do not accept being fobbed off.
