Ads on the App Store?!

Ads on the App Store?!
Are you insane? I pay a premium price for your products to stay away from Android ad slop and google practices and now you added ads to your App Store? What the hell? I don’t need to pay 1500€ for an iPhone if I get the same experience on android for 1/3rd the price for my device! If I wanted to look at ads all day long I’d use google products! What is next? Ad widgets? What happened to you? It obviously is not that you need money. It is pure greed! Stop that nonsense! People will leave Apple if you continue down this path. I left Xbox after 20 years for the same reasons. I don’t need to pay for a service only to get more ads! Happy with Steam. Now the richest company in the world needs to push ads on their own apps? Disgusting!

Apple and Game-manufacturers using policy to rob people of their money.

"Warning: Scammed by Apple and The Wolf game! 🐺 I've been hit twice - first when I signed up for the game via email, and again through my Apple account. Apple is only refunding half of my lost money, and The Wolf game has NO account recovery option despite claiming to have one. I spoke with Apple, and they just told me to contact the game developers abroad. Not helpful. I reported it as fraud, but doubt it'll make a difference.

The real issue is Apple's (and The Wolf's) lack of accountability. My Apple device died due to a manufacturing error, and neither company takes responsibility. Policies meant to protect businesses are being used to rob consumers like me. It's time for change. 🚫

1/5 stars to both Apple and The Wolf. Shame on you for prioritizing profits over people."

I went to Aventura Mall 07/21 with my friend Mirta (Mirta does not speak English) to help her connect her Wi-fi plus other things and we were lucky enough to hook up with Brice (I believe his last name is Sonesta). We started at 12:55 and this young man stayed with us for almost 8 hours (on and off). Needless to say that he took care of everything - from resetting her iphone, downloading all the photos, creating a new icloud account, help with creating emails and most importantly, connecting an Apple watch to her phone. I know that there were other things that he did and I just want to say Thank you for having such an excellent employee that takes care of their customers until the end. We were totaling comfortable with Brice and not everyone has what he has!! 5 Stars to Brice!!

Sincerely,
Sherry Ann Graham

iPhone Lover

I love Apple, I used iPhone since 2008, and I can’t leave without it to another brand of phone.

I used iPhone 12 Pro Max for 5 years, finally I changed to iPhone 17 pro max, the only problem with my iPhone 12 Pro Max was the battery only. Other than that, it was awesome

To be able to change my password

To be able to change my password, I shouldn't have to wait over 3 days in order to do so. First off, Apple should probably tell people that they need to set up all of these things in order to not have to wait. Second, if you end up having to do a system reset due to a shitty OS upgrade that screws up your phone, the employees should probably not try to help 3 customers at once, rushing me through the process. Third, I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO WAIT 3 DAYS TO RESET MY PASSWORD! One day is plenty of time. Rethink your process because many people and jobs rely on their phones and app for every day things. I now can't contact my job, or even access my apt.

Apple Store, Cumberland Mall, Atlanta GA Sux.

Why doesn't Trustpilot have a place to review Apple Stores?
My visit was to Apple Store at Cumberland Mall, Atlanta GA, USA.
First, go online to schedule an appointment. My bad: this was my first trip to an Apple Store.
My wait was over an hour. My i16 Pro is less than 1 year old. I explained that the phone was intermittently getting HOT when charging, which leads to a fast draining of the battery as soon as it was removed from the charger. The drain takes about 2 hours, even when the phone is sitting on the desk or otherwise not being used. Miguel tried to convince me a relatively new charging/data cord, bought from a Verizon Store was the culprit. In desperation, I tried his recommendation to buy an Apple Cord and Brick. It is still intermittently heating up when I charge it. I don't blame Miguel for that. Apple has trained him to do this. However, Miguel left helping me to go on a 15-minute break, forgot about me & moved on to the next customer when he returned from his break. I walked out.

The lines were long, the techs were struggling to keep up, but lackadaisical about their time. I spoke with several people lately: friends, several other customers waiting at the Apple Store & on FB. This seems to be an ongoing issue with Apple. They apparently have a plethora of bad batteries & are making excuses instead of correcting the problem in order to keep their profit margins fat. This will be my final Apple phone. I will be using Android in the future.

Apple Care Plus is Scam

I have two iphones under the apple care plus insurance, and lost one of the phones while I was abroad. I tried to claim a lost claim on apple.com, and the system doesn't allow me to claim a lost claim. So I called the help service, the senior advisor wasn't listening what I was explaining to him at the beginning of the conversation. After the phone call over 1 hour, the advisor finally said that he can't help me to claim the lost insurance claim. I pay the apple care plus to cover a case when I lost my phone. But Apple advisor say that insurance is not covered. This customer service, and apple care service are broken for a customer who pay for apple care plus insurance. I requested to talk with the manager to make a complain, he said that he doesn't have any manager or boss I can talk to. This experience is really bad for a loyal customer who has used apple about 25 years.

Couldn't replace a battery for an 8 year old product, even though it is literally NOTHING in the scale of the environment and sustainability. Wants to make money by all costs, doesn't care about actually helping customers. Visiting the Apple Battersea store felt like someone is just pushing products down my throat while offering no real solution. I was told to go to a third party service and was provided with no tips and help to improve my device's performance.

Not What I Expected

The new iPhone looked great in the ads, but the battery life has been really disappointing. I expected better performance for the price. Also, the shipping took longer than I was told, which was frustrating. I'll think twice before recommending this to friends.

Apple is absolutely horrible they…

Apple is absolutely horrible they couldn't even get apple cash set up on my ipad and wasted 7 hours of my time transfering me from one engineer to the next they had no d clue of what to do apple is terrible I would never use their products or services ever again they can't fix anything
If they can't get something as simple as apple pay and apple cash set up of my iPad then think about anything else that's more complex than that wpuld never work...such as music production software which is supposed to just work now they've got me logged out of my mini Mac where all my music is thank God I'm backed it up ...go PC take this painstaking time to deal with PC and its latency and its errors it's getting better it's just sorry that apple sucks now And their engineers can't figure anything out and they have so many different departments that they transfer you to that nobody knows what they're doing and you just get the run around apple grade: F -
And then if you get anything new you have to get all to accessories every time and none of the old stuff works with any of the new stuff and it just sucks it should all work with everything and you shouldn't have to get new accessories every time they just nickel and dime you to death of all your money and then lose your data. I'll definitely never get an iPhone I'll stick with my Android thank you very much never had any problems

Scam in Apple App Store

Problem Type: Report a scam or fraud Name: Creati: Gen AI Content Creator Developer: ZMO AI Complaint Details :I am writing to formally report Apple allows the app "Creati: Gen AI Content Creator" to be sold in the app store. It is a predatory scam and I reported it as such but Apple refused a refund!!! You can check the Internet for all the scam reports, especially Reddit!!! . The app uses highly deceptive marketing and fraudulent billing practices to trap users into expensive subscriptions. Specifically, the app hides its restrictive "credit" system until after payment is processed. Users are charged an upfront fee (e.g., $35–$79) under the impression that they are purchasing a standard subscription. However, once inside, the app charges exorbitant background "processing credits" per second, draining an entire year's worth of credits after rendering just one or two short videos. The app then completely locks up and demands an additional $70+ payment to continue using it. Furthermore, the app frequently crashes, fails to deliver the promised AI generation quality, and the developer refuses to respond to support inquiries. This app is intentionally engineered to deceive consumers, manipulate Apple’s In-App Purchase system, and abandon functionality immediately after payment.
