I was trying to buy groceries for my elderly dad who recently came out hospital, his payment was blocked and his landline does not ring with the code to allow it through. He explained to customer service and they said they couldn't allow the payment and it would be easier if they transferred the money to my account at Barclays. They told him all I had to do was phone them with my name "which they'd made a note" of and they'd transfer the money once they had my account details.. I have a feeling this bank is some kind of joke 🤣🤣
