I took my bike for a standard service…
I took my bike for a standard service plus a fix to my rear wheel. Initial quote was €180-€200. After review they called me up and it was explained it would be €280-€300 as it needs more work than initially thought. Understand, so gave them the go ahead. I got the final invoice for €533. To say I'm shocked is an understatement. I called up to ask what had happened where I was met with "bike was in the worst condition that the mechanic had seen and he's been a mechanic for 30 years" and "you've got a new bike, you're welcome". I didn't want a new bike, The bike is 2022 Giant propel, last serviced 2 years ago. Why wasn't I told that after the initial inspection? Shocked at the price, more shocked at how it was handled. €84 an hour for labour, one to think about when choosing your next service.

When the bike was assessed, additional work was identified beyond the initial scope, and we contacted you to explain this and provided a revised estimate of €280–€300, which you authorised us to proceed with. However, we accept that the final invoice of €533 was substantially above that revised figure and that this should have been communicated to you before the additional work was carried out.
We are reviewing how we communicate revised costs during servicing to ensure customers are kept fully informed where the scope of work changes further.
We’re sorry that you were also unhappy with how your concerns were handled when you contacted us. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve the process going forward.

Great staff, good selection, great experience
First and foremost, great staff. Mick, Dave and Matt helped me with my bike, helmet, shoes etc. I moved from the USA where there are "local bike shops" and "brand superstores". This store is larger and more diverse than I was used to with a few options across all categories (although electronics seems to be limited to Garmin unfortunately). Prices are market, neither low or high. I bought a Cube and their MSRP's are very reasonable. They seem to have sale items but only for very unusual sizes. The bike build took a few days but it was rock solid, so no complaints. All in all, a great experience.

An excellent place to shop
Such a simple and seamless process when buying my new bike from CycleSuperstore. The store manager Marc himself helped me with deciding what bike I should get. I told him what I needed and within minutes he knew exactly what the right bike was for me. Cian helped me when I was collecting the bike, he was super friendly and very encouraging. I have to give props to the bike builders in CSS too. I’ve done 100km’s on it and not a single issue which is uncommon. I also bought a wetsuit and the lady upstairs was very helpful in finding the right type and size for me too. Overall a fantastic experience for me.
