Stay away! Spent over 700e in a couple of months getting repairs that where not fixed! Told i got new brake pads ! They where definitely not replaced! They seem to love leaving the shop to go spin around in a staff members convertible car rather than deal with paying customers! Absolute disgrace money grabbing! Also when I asked for a receipt of work carried out I was told an invoice will be sent via email or wats app no such thing happened! AVOID!!

I am very pleased with my purchase of the Pixar M9 electric bike from Inner City Scooters. I placed an online order on June 30th. The bike was delivered from Dublin to Ballymote, County Sligo, on July 2nd. Excellent bike, excellent price. I highly recommend this store.

I went to the store to buy a bicycle and Elias helped me with excellent service, showed me the options, and explained everything! The best store to buy a bicycle.

I can't stress enough how much you should avoid this shop. I purchased an e-scooter from them back in May, and had trouble with it from the very start. Even after bringing it over to their mechanics it was still under performing and my concerns were brushed aside every time. A big turning point for me was the mechanics mentioned it needed a new tube and when I collected it I was charged 50e, and when I got home I realized they never even bothered to pump the tyre back up.

During the time I had asked for a refund and based on their shop policy that was refused. Instead, I politely asked could I trade the scooter in and spend more money to upgrade to a better one, this was also refused. It wasn't until I posted a negative review online that they bothered to start helping me. We tried to get a different scooter as part of a trade in but it turned out this was no longer being distributed by the manufacturer and as they could not provide anything else suitable a refund was finally agreed.

It took over two weeks for them to process the refund, and during that time they tried everything to prevent refunding me. I initially told them as the payment was completed via Humm, they had to now refund me but I was told a week later "I need to contact Humm". I had to re-send the correspondence I had with Humm to them where Humm stated the company manages refunds when they payment has been paid in full. They never bothered to actively keep me updated. I had to constantly reach out to them for updates, and I often had to send multiple emails before they would reply.

In the end I discovered that that they falsely advertised this particular scooter on their website as being able to carry a max load of 150kg (which was why I bought this particular scooter) when it could only carry 120kg, and as I am over 120kg this was what was causing the issues.

It got to a point where it went over 5 days without an update, and being ignored, that I had to then send an official complaint using a CCPC (Competition and Consumer Protection Commission) template to record every single piece of information throughout the experience and inform them I was doing so just in case I needed to reach out to the CCPC directly for assistance with my consumer rights. That's how bad it was to deal with this shop. It was only then that I got a reply stating that it had been already done (but again they never bothered to tell me that, only when I reached back out)

I've never before had dealings with a company that was so disinterested in helping you, actively ignored your emails and texts and tried to refuse providing a refund for something they falsely advertised (which is against the law). It was only when I brought this to their attention did they have that information updated on their website. There's something unusual about this company and how they operate, and at no point can I recommend this shop for anything, so please avoid for your own sake.

Edit: You can see the lack of professionalism in the company's reply to this review. Instead of addressing the issues I raised, they resorted to personal insults. Thank you for proving my point.

Bought a fiido m1 pro from this shop and while its a great bike the front brake did not work and was still in warranty and when I contacted them they told me I would be paying 100 euro for delivery and collection of the bike to get the bike checked by a member of staff
That is not customer service to expect someone to pay that for a bike thats still under warranty
Im happy to change the review if they rectify the problem but until then the review will stay up

When I bought the bike I was not made aware of any of this when purchasing so it seems inner city scooters are happy to take your money but no after care for your purchase
Expecting someone to pay 100 euro transport fee for a bike is disgraceful

Jose was absolutely fantastic! He took the time to answer all of my questions and made sure I understood the different bike options available. He was friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable. This is ship does the quickest repairs ever, I really appreciate the effort they put in, if you come into the store ask for Mustafe. He is very friendly and knowledgeable.
