Bad costumer service. The technical department is refusing to honor the warranty on the grounds that the device has a scratch.
However, the defect for which I am requesting your intervention concerns exclusively the battery (loss of battery life / internal charging failure).
Under these circumstances, the refusal to apply the statutory legal guarantee of conformity is legally unjustified and constitutes an improper refusal to honor my statutory rights.

Think before you jump!
I ordered a reconditioned android phone. It arrived extremely quickly but when I tried charging it, the charging slot had been seriously damaged and not repaired when the "pro" repaired it. I contacted Back Market immediately but they replied saying that I must have done the damage as this amount of damage would not have been missed by the "pro" I obviously argued that it would have been impossible for me to have done the amount of damage as I had only had the pbone 5 minutes! Their 12 month guarantie is worthless. I still have the phone and they would neither repair, replace or refund my money. I would advise extreme caution before going down this road.

REFUND EVENTUALLY RECEIVED
Further to my complaint on the Trustpilot website, the response and action taken by Backmarket was rapid. I only wish that there communications procedures were more customer friendly!

AZERTY < QWERTY
I was given the AZERTY keyboard instead of the QWERTY I ordered. A similar thing happened to my wife last year. We decided to just keep the laptops anyway, as we could make it work. Other than that, everything is great.
