AVOID AT ALL COST. Yep. Same as many of the reviews. Selected hardback, paid, got receipt and link (with no indication it was going to download the softcopy) did that. They then refused to provide a... See more

Do not buy from this website
As per other customers, there are no books. They send a link to an eBook.
I complained and they said all sales are final, I disputed this and said I would be contacting my bank and will be reporting them to Trading Standards.
I recieved a refund after 1 week, so you need to pursue it!

Ordered a hardback book. Received a downloadable link. Didn't open it wrote to them explaining I ordered an actual book and they refused to refund. I emailed them with a screen shot showing I'd selected a hardback version and advised if they didn't refund i would rake it up with my credit card company. They accepted and after me replying with all the information they requested (which they already had) I received a refund after about 4 days.
Shocking that this company's website is appearing in searches considering all the reviews on here.
If you happen to purchase Don't give up and if all else fails go through your credit card/bank to get your refund. They appear as Fanytolo on your bill.
FRAUD
I can only reiterate the previous reviews. I placed an order on 25/02/26 for a hard copy book. It is now 27/03/26. I have not received the book, nor a refund, and my emails have been ignored. This company is a fraud and I am in the process of reporting them to the Trading Standards Agency.
I've reported this company for fraud.
I've reported this company for fraud.
There are no books, just what they've scraped by AI. So not only have they robbed you for the cost of the actual book they have also stolen the rights of the authors.
A totally rotten outfit!
They don't have any actual books
I ordered a hardcover book but they don't have any! They will send you a digital version only. Payment is taken from a company called Fanytolo. Search Fanytolo to see more reviews.
Mapleshelf, beware of this company
I ordered a book from Mapleshelf which had the options of digital or hardback. I chose hard back, and fortunately took a screen shot of my order, then received an email informing me that the download was ready to open. I immediately emailed back explaining that I wanted the actual book and if they were not able to supply it then I wanted a refund. They replied saying that they could not refund a digital version. I replied with the screenshot of my order and informed them that if they did not refund in 48hrs I would be contacting Trading Standards. My refund arrived in pending within the 48hr and has completed. The name on the bank transactions is Fanytolo and had I read the Trust pilot reviews before ordering I would definitely not gone ahead.
Do NOT use this company
I agree with all the previous reviews
This company are selling falsely. The default is hard copy but they then send you an ebook. They rarely respond to emails & when the do they are always the same - AI generated?
I have today reported this company to Trading Standards (via Citizens' Advice)
More people should do this
Update - I had one last email telling the company what I had done - they have now refunded me purchase! Result - it pays to persevere!
Scammers don’t order from them
Scammers don’t order from them! Wish I’d looked at truspilot first. Like others I received only an ebook even though I believed I was ordering a real book. This company needs to be taken down!
Wish I had read the reviews
Wish I had read the reviews. Like the others ordered a hardback book and got a digital copy. AVOID THESE PEOPLE
Purchased a book
Purchased a book, but then they only give you a digital download & you can't get your money back.
Avoid at all costs. Another company that false advertisements.
FRAUDSTERS *** AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
FRAUDSTERS *** AVOID at all costs.
I object to giving a 1* star review to people who commit fraud and totally mislead customers and I'M KICKING MYSELF for not checking for reviews first.
Speak to your bank asap and cancell your payment card to avoid these criminals from using your payment data again behind your back without authorisation.
Avoid like the plague
I ordered a hardback book and received an ebook download. I had already contacted my bank as I thought this was a scam as the seller is in Poland and not the UK. Avoid like the plague.
Do not recommend!
A very smart website which pretends to sell physical books. What they actually sell are ebooks only, even if you select 'hardcover'.
After pulling them up on this, after essentially being scammed, they would not refund me and stopped responding.
