Had an appointment for battery services for my iPhone (waiting for 1 week). When I arrived to the branch, they simply said we cannot change the battery because you have bought the phone from Amazon!!! This is while these kind of ridiculous regulations is not mentioned in their website!!
I have recently been to Portugal and tried to hotspot my Uk data from my phone to the other phone in my contract. It did not work as EE explained it would abroad, in an EU country. During this same trip, I tried to Hotspot from my phone to other phones as well and it did work!
When I got back I called EE to ask about this and try to find a resolution. All that has been explained to me was “it is not EE’s fault”, “it is something to do with the other phone in your monthly package…”
I explained that hotspot used to work abroad between my phone and the other phone in this package when we were on a different Network than EE, but they don’t take any kind of responsibility on the matter.
I also asked if they have some kind of partnership out there for when the phone leaves the Uk, which they do as long as it is an EU country but he said “NO”.
I also noticed that he was impatient and kind of passive aggressive after a while, willing to hurry the call. Do you know why? Because they know my contract with them is 2 years and I can’t just get out of it!
Basically, I can see why they have an average of 2 stars on their reviews.
Had I known this before, I would have NEVER gotten into a contract with EE.
Useless trying to sort out this situation or even trying to check or test the settings on the account to see if everything is in working order. Very poor customer service, I don’t recommend at all.
Let’s see how they are from here on…
We discovered, after several months of upgrading our ee broadband account to wireless, that in fact they were taking 2 amounts from our account!
Once discovered the process to recoup the money took too long and was a very negative experience.
We have yet to receive the refund and would advise this is not a well managed site, many employees did not have full access and/or understanding of our account/issues and correspondence was appalling
After months of unsatisfactory service today Mark and Sophie changed all that and gave me a service i was seeking from the start. The work ethic has made me more than happy to continue with EE. I am throughly thankful for your time and assistance and clarity today x
10.10.2025 I have ordered newest IPhone with EE.
I was told by Tracy Hall that the delivery will be in two weeks.
Till today I didn't get the phone despite my two calls to the company, two written emails to Tracy.
When I called them today they couldn't find my order, than we discovered that in their copy of agreement there is different phone then I ordered.
I was trying to make official complaint but I don't even know if it was done.
To sum up...the company is disorganised and they can't find orders. The order is placed 20 days ago and I still don't have it eventhough I was told by Tracy it is going to take two weeks.
The ordered doesn't show the phone I have chosen.
I couldn't even finish my complaint because I was transferred to someone who didn't have any solution in the situation.
More over I was told that I have to place another one so it will take me up to a month!
I am waiting couple of hours for the phone call from Tracy who is responsible for the situation.
EE company doesn't take any accountability for the their actions.
Basically they don't know what they are doing!!!!
Be careful guys!!!!
I have no working broadband, I pay extra for backup broadband only to find out it won’t work if my broadband is down, my home phone is a internet phone that’s isn’t working and getting the round around from your staff, I asked for a complaint to be raised yesterday which wasn’t, I asked for a manager to call me back and he wasn’t, I have a early parent who is waiting on a heart operation in the next 7 days and we might get a phone call about this he is living with cancer and need access to a phone line, I need to work during this mess as well. I need to add 3 hours to my day tomorrow due to your company, I want the back up broadband removed from package and backdated as well, you are in breach of contract and fully into to take this further, I’ve had add more data to my mobile phone data as well.
Support is a joke no help at all. Gives you a date for install/services never deliver on time such a joke
Still having to spend literally hours getting the ee wifi hub to top up. Vesta security check does not work. It just says tick the box to check youre human but there is no box to tick. I dread the thing running out of data. Ive raised this multiple times and they blame it on everything except their own crap web platform. If I see the "something went wrong- its OUR fault" message again i am likely to throw the whole system out the window. I vehemently hate this company. The fact they are perfectly happy delivering a crap service shows how arrogant they are to their core. 1.4 stars and counting...downwards.
No addressing of my point, no mention of the point, just we have made a reply, which is quite right - a reply only, not an answer, acknowledgement, explanation, or answer - just a reply.
This the service you should expect from this outfit.
Just keep fobbing off - no ethic or morals.
No wonder there ae so many bad reviews on this site about this outfit.
When we first joined ee we were told over the phone that we could be reimbursed money owed to talk talk when changeing contract - obviously didn't happen. Now being completely fed up of being tied in to their tv service, I am having to pay £167.00 to leave the TV service early, despite returning all the equipment. Have just got NOW TV back a half the price they were offering and ditched Discovery altogether. Needless to say the Apple TV free for 6 months never appeared either. Money grabbing fraudsters. I intend to dump their broadband next year too. Their website and phone guide service are extremely frustrating too. 1 star
I went to EE store with an appointment to migrate my EE account from residential to business. They opened a business account but did not de-activate my residential. EE is taking money from both my business and personal accounts every month for the last 8 months. I have made the complaint formal but after 3 weeks they are unable to help me. I asked for the case to be escalated...they said fine but I will need to wait 11 working days for someone else to call me. Meantime they continue to take money. They have admitted over the phone that this is a case of "mis selling" on thieir part but they are not refunding the money they have fraudulently taken from me. The one lady said they did this in the store because they make more money and staff make money from new acounts - not migrated existing ones. In my view they have committed a fraud.
Ordered a PS5 which was in stock and said 2 to 3 days delivery. Nowhere did it mention anything about processing and dispatch taking as long as they want. Extremely and intentionally misleading. Was sat at 'order placed' for the entire 3 days delivery was expected. So I won't be getting it by the weekend as expected. Cancelled the order and read elsewhere that I can expect to wait over 2 weeks for my refund. Absolute sham of a company/service
Poor service, multiple times they took more money than they should have failed to rectify the issue or fairly compensate me, all you get is a sorry. No idea how they got best provider for 12 years straight. Their service is laughable at best.
The most appalling service. Who am I with? BT or EE?? My internet isn’t working and trying to get them to fix it is impossible. I’m tied into a contract so no recourse! Stay away
Had to pay to leave and switch to another provider because they couldn't/wouldn't fix my fault.
They had routed my connection to another property (told me the devices connected to the hub which weren't mine) so it was showing as 'working' on all automated tests despite having no connection and hub flashing orange. After a week of explaining the same issue over and over, 2 failed engineer visits, (one they cancelled without telling me) and closed complaints with no way to appeal, I have had enough and left.
To add insult to injury, half way though one of the calls to support my phone signal dropped due to another fault with mobile which lasted 24 hours.
Left me with no connection at all and kept asking me to run tests or use camera sharing tech that required an internet connection. Absolute clowns.
Total incompetence.
Absolute joke of a company ,rip off frauds who offer nothing ,talk you into sim contracts but dont explain the high end contract bill ,this company needs shutting down ,im moving from these jokers and never coming bk ,i advise people to read these before even considering going with EE ..THINK VERY CAREFULLY PEOPLE ..DO NOT BE TALKED INTO ANY CONTRACT WITH THESE THEIVES ..THEY WILL DEFRAUD YOU ONE WAY OR ANOTHER WITH THEIR LIES ...BEWARE ..ALL THE NEGATIVE FEEDBACKS ARE 100% TRUE. .STEER CLEAR ..

⭐ 1 Star – EE Wasted My Time – Still No Resolution
As a long-standing EE customer with four phones, I’m appalled by today’s experience. I was very clear that I wanted to switch one tariff to a SIM-only plan, yet the advisor didn’t listen, kept trying to upsell, and couldn’t complete a simple contract. After 1.5 hours, nothing was resolved — just a drained phone and a wasted morning. I’ll have to try again tomorrow, as the plan would save me over £30 a month, but the lack of basic competence and customer care is unacceptable.

Moved house in the same exchange area. Contacted EE a couple of weeks before the home move to place my order. They cancelled that order with no valid explanation or contact. Raised another order which failed. Then a further two more and all failed. My flat has an Openreach connection in situ, but I have been without the internet/TV for almost a month now. Broken promise after promise with no explanation. Wasted dozens of hours on the phone to the call centres. No one taking responsibility for progressing my order. Looking at other service providers now, as I refuse to make a 5th order for a "simple" installation. Shocking customer service.

Reporting a scam
Tried to help them by reporting a scam call to my mobile, as their website recommends calling them to report the telephone number where the scam call was made.
They decided not to take my report because my husband was physically not next to me (he is the account holder), and therefore they could not confirm the account.
Appalling costumer service.
