Quality control issue on a premium item
I purchased a pair of leather Axel Arigato Daze Runners from End, but they arrived with the heel not bonded properly, clearly peeling away from the leather. Disappointing for a premium item, I’d expect proper QC to catch this before shipping.
I reported it within 24 hours with photos, and the rep agreed the fault was visible. Despite this, I was only offered a 40% partial refund to keep a faulty pair, or a standard exchange requiring the item back first and a days-long wait before a replacement is arranged, with no option to send one out in the meantime.
As a long-time customer, I expected a faster, more accommodating fix.

The shopping experience is quite good!
The online shopping experience is quite good, and there is a lot of variety on offer.
I had some issues with the return, but that was probably more because of Brexit than anything on END.'s end.

Everything works. The range is good (though smaller than it used to be?), prices are good, the delivery is fantastic (DPD) and the returns process is ok.

Really good service. Price was superb and the delivery was very quick. Unfortunately, the size wasn't suitable. Very easy free return service, and money credited back within two days. I would definitely recommend End... Hopefully the next order fits my funny-shaped feet!
