Avoid this AI service!

Avoid this AI service!

They make it extremely unclear what you are actually being charged for and when. I requested a refund for unused credits within the 14 day refund period, but after that they simply stopped responding.

Even worse, you can't cancel your subscription yourself - you have to contact them. But when they stop replying, they just continue charging you anyway.

Really poor customer service and a very frustrating experience. I would strongly recommend staying away.

Do not trust this company

Do not trust this company — they charged me four times
I tried DaVinci AI during the trial period but decided not to continue using the service. I have not used it since then.
Despite this, the company charged my bank card four times:
€1.75 on 22 July
€14.03 on 23 July
€26.42 on 29 July
€25.90 on 29 August
The total amount taken was €68.10. I received no clear explanation of why four different amounts were charged or what these payments were for.
I tried to resolve the problem through their support system. First, I communicated with a chatbot. I was then transferred to a support representative and sent a message explaining everything. I received no meaningful response, nothing was resolved, and another payment was subsequently taken from my account.
I have now formally requested the immediate cancellation of any active subscription, confirmation that no further payments will be taken, an explanation of all four charges and a full refund of €68.10.
I will update this review if the company responds and returns my money. Until then, do not trust the trial offer, and check your bank statements carefully after using this service.

Updates 04/09/2026:
DaVinci AI responded quickly, but the issue remains unresolved. The company confirmed that the subscription had been cancelled and that no further charges would be made. However, it refused to refund the €68.10 and sent a general reference to its refund policy without explaining any of the four different charges. After signing in to the correct account through Apple, I found that it shows:
• Free Plan
• 25/25 unused credits
• 0 creations
• no payment method
• no invoices in the billing history
This directly contradicts the company’s statement that I can continue using premium features until the end of the current billing period. Their own refund policy also states that customers in the EU may request a refund within 14 days where no credits have been consumed. I am located in Ireland, the most recent payment of €25.90 was taken on 29 August, and my refund request was submitted within 14 days. The account shows that all 25 credits remain unused. I have asked the company again to explain what each payment was for, why no invoices exist and why my account shows no paid plan. So far, they have not answered any of these questions.
I will update this review again if the refund is processed. At present, the matter remains unresolved.

Unwanted Charge and No Response from Support

Absolutely non-intuitive way to cancel a subscription — to the point where you think you've canceled it when you actually haven't.
I was charged $29 after I thought I had canceled my trial subscription.
Support is ghosting me and hasn't responded to any of my emails regarding a refund.
Total scam

Don't bother with their $2 trial

Don't bother with their $2 trial. The hidden catch is that you're still on the hook for a huge bill if you forget to cancel. They're basically betting the service, but it has very little mention that you're stuck with a monthly plan after a few days.

Ignored refund request for unused trial renewal ($29)

I was charged $29,99 after a trial period. I immediately cancelled the recurring subscription and have not used a single credit or generated any images post-renewal. Customer support initially sent an automated refusal and has now completely ignored my formal appeal for over 3 days. Charging customers for completely unconsumed services and ignoring communication is an unfair business practice. I am requesting a full refund of this charge.

"Start Free Now" $1.99 trial turned into a surprise $29.99 Pro plan charge — refund denied

I signed up through their "Start Free Now" offer for $1.99, and shortly after was charged $29.99 for a Pro plan I never selected or intended to purchase. I contacted support within 30 minutes of the charge, before using any credits or taking any action on the account, and requested a refund per their own policy, which states refunds are available where no credit has been consumed.

Ashley from support replied with a generic message stating I "did not meet the eligibility criteria" of their refund policy, without specifying which condition I supposedly failed to meet. When I followed up quoting their own policy language back to them and asking for clarification, I received no further response.

This doesn't seem to be an isolated pattern — other reviews here describe similar experiences of a small trial price leading into a larger, unannounced charge shortly after, with little clarity from support about what's actually being charged for.

Cancelling the subscription now to prevent further charges. Would recommend reading through other reviews here and watching your statement closely before entering card details with this company.

I subscribed for a trial on weekly…

I subscribed for a trial on weekly basis. On completion of trial without my agreement they charged me for one more month. All my unused credits also reset to zero.
This company can not be trusted. They are refusing to refund, as I dont use the credits, which they sold me without my agreement.

"Start Free Now" leads to a $1.99 charge — that becomes $9.23

The homepage has a prominent "Start Free Now" button in the top right corner. It says free. Clicking it does not lead to anything free, it leads to a sign-up flow that ends at a paid trial screen.

That trial screen clearly states "7-Day Full Access" for $1.99. My card was charged $9.23 instead, more than 4x the price actually shown at checkout.

When I contacted support about the charge, they responded by explaining that they don't offer a free trial, that is not what I was disputing. My issue is that the amount charged did not match the amount shown at checkout, and that the homepage CTA says "free" when nothing in the flow it leads to is free.

Cancelling was its own problem. The option is buried under a section labeled "Danger Zone." The first time I went through the steps, I was interrupted by a review request partway through, backed out, and found no confirmation that anything had been cancelled, and my subscription was still active.
The second time, I got through it, but the confirmation dialogs used ambiguous, easily misread wording across three separate steps, worded such that it's easy to click through thinking you've cancelled when you haven't.

This isn't a one-off. Looking through other reviews here, my experience matches a repeated pattern: a "free" CTA, a low quoted trial price, a higher actual charge, and a cancellation flow that seems designed to make people give up or get confused rather than actually cancel.

Read the checkout screen carefully, check your bank statement against it, and don't assume cancellation went through until you have written confirmation.
