Ardkeen Quality Food Store is an independent food retailer based on the Dunmore Road in Waterford City on the South East coast of Ireland. We are locally owned and managed. The business was founded by Robert and Pamela Jephson in 1967 as a small grocery store with petrol pumps out the front, believe it or not this was quite a novel format back then! The business has grown in popularity and scale over the years notably a a major redevelopment of Ardkeen Shopping Centre took place in 1998. Ardkeen Quality Food Store has a developed a unique food offering. People want to know about and trust the people who produce their food so we specialise in sourcing the best fresh produce and local foods from artisan food producers that we know and trust. As an independent supermarket we have the flexibility to buy the produce our customers want. Using links developed over the years with really good food producers we now have a range of fine foods that surpasses all competition in terms of food quality and provenance. We also cook and bake an extensive range of products at Ardkeen. Prepared daily in our deli kitchen by our skilled and commited team of chefs, using only the best of ingredients. The food is prepared, cooked and chilled (if necessary) and on sale the same day, so you can have retaurant quality meal at home in minutes. The range is extensive everything from soups & starters to main courses like Elaines wonderful Fishermans Pie to Lisa's sumptuous patisserie treats. Although there have been many changes over the years our philosophy remains the same; to provide great value, better quality food and excellent customer service. We are delighted to be listed in the prestigious McKennas Ireland Guides, Georgina Campbells Ireland Guide and have being awarded many accolades including Retail Excellence Ireland Awards, Best In Fresh Awards across departments and most recent named Best Shop in Ireland by The Irish Times. 'Our commitment to you starts with selecting our producers and continues through to the meal on your table'

Apologies for the delay in dispatch your order was placed around the recent bank holiday period, which unfortunately caused some disruption to our normal shipping and courier timelines. As a result, your order has taken longer to arrive than we would typically expect.
Our review request emails are sent automatically after purchase and are not linked to the delivery status of individual orders, so we understand how receiving a review invitation before your order arrived could be frustrating.
We can see that your order was successfully delivered today. We appreciate your patience while it was in transit and apologise for the longer-than-expected delivery time on this occasion.

It is now the 11th May and still no pots of Jam?
How long does it take to deliver 2 pots of jam from about 4 hours away
Although there was a problem with the delivery it turns out it was An Posts fault
My jam arrived arrived and tasted lovely
I want to thank Brian Leahy for all his help in dealing with the issue

Hi Wendy,
I’ve checked your order status and can confirm it is currently being processed in the UK and is expected to be delivered in the coming days. Your order was dispatched on Wednesday, April 29th. As outlined in our shipping policy, UK deliveries typically take 3–5 working days from dispatch.
https://www.ardkeen.com/policies/shipping-policy
At present, we are only 3 working days into that timeframe, with 2 working days remaining, so your delivery is still well within the estimated window. Please also note that the May bank holiday has caused a slight delay in transit times.
We appreciate your patience and expect your order to reach you very soon.
