Although gift cards can be purchased for food and other everyday necessities, I feel that Afterpay is still struggling to understand who their customers are. Additionally, making payments could be made easier if each payment could be selected and the total appears at the bottom of the screen, with an option to pay that amount. This might save people from going back and forth between the calculator app and Afterpay app.

Well for one keep your bill payed on time and your limit gose up if you need help with a payment they can hold it off so you dont lose your status.

Super buena

Love being able to buy what I need/want without breaking the bank. Christmas and birthdays and even hotel stays have been key.

Not having a down payment, and the time to pay off

Nothing works, it says you can’t use the afterpay card on uber eats with Apple Pay when it says that it literally does in the app and when trying to pay in 4 it tried charging the full amount.

The service is great and the payments are very reasonable 👍

on 16/07/2026 afterpay has tried collecting a payment from a non existant account ending in 7712 for the sum of 15.99 but wnen they used the correct account ending 3736 for another payment of 6.00 dollars it went through. they made the mistake an charged me an extra10.00 dollars late fee order no #929421905i cannot log into my account to check i have txt them and made them aware of this given them my mobile number which they already had and asked them to contact me or send me a direct telephone number for me to speak with them and resolve the issue but they totally ignored me went ahead and charged me extra and colled the money from my account which was available on the due date had they used the correct account number. they are disgusting as they cannot be contacted nor do they contact you other than by txt and even then do not reply or listen to the customer they just do what they want and rip the customers off absolutely unacceptable and disgusting spencer

Nothing ever works right ever I have to change my password Everytime I use it my notifications don't work half the time it doesn't work right on the sites I try to use it on and there is terrible customer service actually there is no customer service this is a big bank there should be customer service so people can figure out issues without so many issues.

Poor Customer Service, Communication and Follow Through.
While one experience should not tarnish Afterpay, it was the overall handling of a dispute that ultimately lead to the review. Sometimes it's not what happens it's how you respond. Afterpay fell short on all fronts.

Communication: Communication was poorly managed, with information provided incrementally rather than in a timely and transparent manner. I was required to repeatedly follow up to obtain updates on the status of the situation.

Professionalism: Responses were unprofessional, including rude remarks, and the use of offensive language.

Follow Up: I was repeatedly assured by different agents that specific actions would be taken. However, when I followed up, I was asked to provide information that had already been supplied to a previous agent who had confirmed they were handling the matter. This created the impression that little or no progress had been made and that commitments were not being followed through. Rather than resolving the issue, the repeated requests for the same information felt like unnecessary delays and poor internal communication.

Customer Service: Accessing support was unnecessarily difficult. The AI chatbot advised that I needed to speak with a customer service representative, yet directed me to continue through the app. The app, in turn, redirected me to a web browser before eventually leading me back to the same support process. This circular experience created unnecessary barriers to obtaining assistance and gave the impression that the support process was designed to discourage customers from reaching a human representative.

With other reliable BNPL platforms, Afterpay is no longer the trusted partnership I need. Afterpay was the indicator if a business was legitimate, and felt the protections they provided, an extra security blanket against pop up online stores who used this as a way to steal credit card information. The issue is Afterpay has a network issue on their side and have not addressed this.

This app has helped me afford things I don't have the initial money for. And now that they are offering monthly payments it's so much better. I wish I could pay monthly on more places like Amazon and Walmarts

My all around business has been great since day one.

I have been using this app for a few years and it has never did me wrong. Best thing to happen when you dont have money or just a little money.

Love it but this single use card now is a lil difficult but I’m getting old now, so it might just be me.

Great experience. No issues and very convenient

I have always used afterpay and trusted them, unfortunately when it comes to being scammed by a business, afterpay was completely unhelpful and unable to recover my funds. If i was to use my bank card i could have rang up and recover the money asap. I’m reconsidering how reliable this afterpay is, maybe not the best option
