Difficulty at first steps
Difficulty at first was that the CyberGhost icon appears in the menu bar on top and the one on the desktop is not activated to open CyberGhost.
This caused quite some profound confusion!

Occasional connection freezing that I…
Occasional connection freezing that I need to restart the app. Same VPN protocol (with dedicated IP) on two different devices stops one of them. Didn't try it on more than two devices yet.
Update July 16, 2026: I have been changing my settings as per customer support reply and the dedicated IP is working on two different devices at the same time (didn't try more than two devices yet). Connection is still freezing occasionally but not something that is bothering me much for now. Will update if anything changes.

Very bad experience
Very bad experience. I purchased a years subscription. It worked for 1 day then it was cancelled and the number refunded without any notification
I contacted the customer service for 3 days. Every time they just told me : our financial department will contact you by email. Obviously, they did not.
Awful service. Awful customer service.
Don't buy this VPN. Expresvpn has better service or Nord VPn. Stay away from cyber ghost

The app connects easily
The app connects easily, but I have a persistent issue when my laptop wakes up from sleep mode. The internet connection drops completely until I turn the VPN off and back on again. It is fine for basic browsing when it is running, but this bug gets annoying during the workday. Hopefully, they release a patch for it soon.

Excellent streaming speeds on distant servers. Dedicated servers for streaming works very well. Ease of use. Only used for a week, but based on previous experiences with other known vpns would definitely recommend.

I use a dedicated IP, and usually it's ON. Sometimes when I start working on my Mac in the morning, my internet connection is lost, so I need to reconnect to the dedicated IP. Sometimes it doesn't reconnect me (the "Connect" button is unresponsive), so I need to make several attempts, which is annoying.
