Not so long time to connect, but reliable and stable connection

Worked for years until they shadow banned me. Unfortunately I just updated my subscription for another 3 years shortly before the shadow ban. I had to ask support what was going on and then they told me that they saw weird connection patterns from one of my devices. I asked for more details but they are ghosting me since (more than 2 weeks now).

In the past I would have recommend their service, currently I’m telling everybody to stay away from hide.me since they don’t seem to be interested in a problem solution as soon as there is one.

Update: After a month or so they unbanned me for whatever reason. Still leaves a taste. Do whatever you like with that information. Raised the rating to two stars because of that.

After my, latest experience with their customer. Support I had been trying everything, until there support representative. Patrick I asked him (are you telling, me I’m screwed? His reply unfortunately yes you are screwed. Direct quotes from. My side and our exact words.

Company Fraudulent main task to spy for people and get your privet info. Do not install , you cannot remove it !!! Need to totally clean hard drive to factory setting!

Awful, 16RAM laptop and this app takes 10 minutes to load up and slows your laptop waaay down, took 20 minutes to uninstall.

efficient, high-performing VPN

In Russia this VPN is very blocked, so I would like it to connect more often and bypass all kinds of blocking). But I'm still very pleased with it

I’ve been using Hide.me for over two years and whenever I needed help setting up or with something similar, their customer service was always quick to assist. The VPN itself is incredibly user-friendly and offers a range of settings to suit your needs. The website also provided plenty of helpful information.

Today I contacted customer service about a subscription charge I forgot to cancel. I received a prompt response and the full amount was refunded to my PayPal the same day.

The free version is quite effective for what I need to do. Fast and reliable

The Linux CLI provided by hide.me is nothing more than a virus. It refuses to connect to the vpn servers, breaks your internet connection by setting an ip rules and, when you fix that, installs a a cronjob to persistently write the rule back into the ip rules. Took me four hours to get rid of this garbage.

UPDATE: I spoke to your help team via your Zendesk chat on your site. I logged in with the same name and email address. I couldn't care less if you "have a record" of this or not. Stop attempting to discredit bad reviews on Trustpilot. Take the criticism and improve your service.

I'm absolutely grateful to have a reliable experience with your support staff. My previous service made me jump through hopes to finally cancel their service. Since migrating to "hide" it's been more than satisfactory, and the human touch is far more beneficial to articulate the problem set.

not sure about paid one, but unlimited free try not worth it. Connected, if not slow, nothing loaded in my browsers.
