Pity part failed on new washing machine but the warranty call-out was excellent. On-time (bit early actually but had telephone call beforehand so no problem) and the engineer was excellent; a pleasure to watch identifying the problem (apparently it is as much about what you can hear as what the diagnostic machine tells you), speedy, clean and tidy. Our Washer now works perfectly.

Flow X stairlift just installed. That process was totally satisfactory with great care being taken on what was a hot day. It says a lot about a firm when a lot of their staff have worked for them for many years. Everyone who we dealt with were professional in their approach and a pleasure to deal with. Absolutely no sales pressure. I am confidant that should any tweaks to the stairlift be needed then they will be attended to politely, quickly and efficiently.

A good firm to deal with.

One can often judge a financial institution on the speed and civility with which they accommodate withdrawing ones money. Both Nicole and Tom of their Withdrawal team were excellent; all the right security and anti-fraud questions were asked and the money's, in two installments because of their size, were in my bank account by close of play the same days.

I have had my run-in's with HL before, but credit where credit is due, the withdrawal process was excellent.

I only bought one porch light on-line. What is there to say; easy to order and it came, well packaged, as expected.

Despatched Sunday, arrived Monday c11am. Fantastic. Will DPD please run the NHS, Passport Office, HMRC etc.

Only just taken out house insurance. Website very good. Price excellent. Only had one query with cover which was answered by William succinctly, competently and very clearly.

Ordering was easy and the website excellent. The slate chippings arrived well before they were needed and the driver of the truck most helpful in placing the bags.

Have not assembled the garden truck yet but your delivery arrangements and agent were superb....only ordered yesterday and here by lunchtime. Tell that to the Post Office!

Isn't it nice when a firm over-delivers on service. I was alerted that there was going to be a two week delay on some shower room wallboards (seems to be not uncommon these days) but lo and behold a subsequent e mail said "arriving Monday" and there they were at 9 am that day delivered into my garage and no longer on the critical path for my bathroom project. First rate for customer communication. The wallboards themselves look fine too as far as I can see.

The shelving arrived on schedule. Easier to assemble than suggested elsewhere on feedback although I did not follow the instructions so closely after the first one, and I just got quicker and quicker. Just keeping checking that the tabs are on the inside as they should be. No need for a special rubber hammer, a block of wood and a little steel hammer did the job. Looks like it will last me out. Brownie points from my Supervisor for a neat and tidy garage.

Furniture Factor themselves were brilliant, even down to giving me access to the build instructions before ordering as I wanted to fit the utility cabinet "over" my skirting board instead of having it free standing. Order came as scheduled, absolutely no problem.

Construction took a bit of a time because of my modifications but I expected this.

The utility cabinet was not expensive and I suppose that one gets what one pays for but I was a bit disappointed that many of the panels (even the doors) were not "faced" on all edges which meant that some suffered a bit from "flaking" both on delivery and during assembly. Easy enough to fix with some filler, it was a bit nostalgic I found. No reflection on Furniture Factor but something to bear in mind. All in all, it has suited the bill as far as I am concerned.
