despite several emails they have not responded..their limited company name is GAMERIGZ ltd which they use to take the money..this is also a SCAM site

they have a glossy shopfront but the apparent support operation is a scam

i await news from my cc provider on my claim for a refund

The acrow hire that keeps on giving!

I M writing after a miserable experience with HSS or was it speedy hire?

The saga started on 15th march when I selected HSS to supply 2 x 1.7/2.4 mtrs
Acrow wallprops..for delivery in Gloucester on Friday 20th march for a period of 1 week.

The order was accepted or so it seemed and payment taken.

On the morning of Friday 20th march a knock on the door and a friendly smile and the driver was ushered to the garage where he courteously delivered 1 x Acrow. As per the paperwork Which I reluctantly signed for.

Not in the mood to be beaten by this hiccup, I went Back on the HSS website after a fruitless search for a phone number for HSS Gloucester.

I found that a virtual HSS branch in Gloucester still had a suitable Acrow available and I could collect it from
The branch in Gloucester.

I rearranged plans for the day and a suitable
Vehicle and found myself at Branch of speedy hire not HSS..where a great member of staff in reception dealt with me straight away suggesting that this type of error sometimes happens and is usually due to the order being re-entered manually from HSS system to Speedy hire??
He duly carried the Acrow out of the shop
Carefully placing it in my car.

I took it home and got back to prepare for my weekend project.

On Saturday morning a friend duly turned up to help me and we stripped back the structure ready to support the beams before reconstruction

We were ready for the Acrows , the first went in smoothly but when we put the second one up we became aware that the all important support pin was missing..there was a chain and a hoop but .no pin.

Noting the time was 11am I jumped in the car and hurried to speedy hire in Gloucester only to find it. Closed

My friend who was waiting patiently guarding the precarious structure, said he had a socket drive extension that might fit the bill.... Back at his house.

So 45 minutes later we had a working Acrow and after a short refreshment break we got down to work .. hopefully with the addition Sunday working we will complete the project.

Is this normal with HSS /SoeedyHire ?

As far as me,
I have to wait in on Friday, for the collection of one Acrow,
I have to make another journey to SpeedyHire to return the incomplete Acrow and no doubt have to convince the staff that the pin wasn't there.

I would appreciate your thoughts on this

The experience creating the card was excellent as usual but when I tried to redeem my 5 years gift of a free card the website said it didn't comply with the .offer. I saw no reference to any rules nor could I contact Moonpig .. you just sent me in an AI loop.. your service quality is declining.. bring back some human contact

order delivered quickly but JDS had failed to carry out the personalisation of the football kit.. the main reason for selecting JDS was this service... so the birthday surpise was a bit flat.
i ahve arranged to have this done locally by my Daughter and JDS have refunded the original charge but no attempt to recompense for inconvenience

Good staff member but the process is designed to over promise the value to attract you with an automatic deduction whatever you describe. Typical motor trade!
Checked other sites all just the same
