Constant power cuts in West Limerick. We don't even set our cooker or microwave clocks anymore because it would be a weekly task. Very difficult to work from home when you can't rely on power. We've purchased a generator and multiple battery packs and backup APC power units at cost of over €1,000 to ensure we are not left literally in the dark. Complained over and over with them and the utility regulator, normally they'll do something to improve it for a few months and then it starts to happen all over again and you get the weekly power cuts.

This used to be a great company and service, I joined up in 2018 and it was great. Now in 2025 I pay €9.99 a month for a bad service, poor customer support, and now their claimed "fraud protection" that declines payments randomly more often than not monthly recurring payments that have been on my Curve account for 7 years, but now considered fraud!!! Just down hill, so time to say good bye to Curve after 7 years as it's now just as bad as my bank and well I don't need to pay my bank €9.99 for shitty service, they do that for free.

Non functional website, constant issues with their website and getting errors when trying to renew policy, even worse when they take their website down for a weekend in April 2025 and don't provide any backup phone support. Just really bad when basic website things don't work, why send me a renewal email and then when I click on the renewal link I get a web site error, when I log into the website and from the myAviva page I click on the renew insurance and get an error, just make it painful to do business with.

CeX is a great way to trade in some old tech for new tech. Very easy and great to deal with.

UPS charges are totally just made up, do not use for anything coming out of the UK into the EU as you'll be charged the correct VAT, but UPS will also charge a crazy "Other" fee that's just made up and not based on anything and is just a cash cow for them after Brexit. Ordered items from the UK value of £20.44 and UPS charged an additional €19.56 listed as "Other" on the bill, this was in addition to the VAT/Taxes that were expected of €6.57. But how you can justify a nonsense non broken down "Other" fee is totally nuts.

Do not order from these guys if you live in the EU, just don't it'll cost you double the order as UPS will make up some nonsense charges in addition to VAT. Paid £20.44 for a few items, then £9.95 for delivery to Ireland via UPS and on arrival UPS made up some magic number of €26.13 for delivery. I'm OK with paying VAT on UK imports, but the breakdown of the charges is: Other €19.56, Customs Duty: €0.88, Taxes: €5.69. Now not to get into this but the COO for these items was the UK so Customs Duty should be €0.00, but the UPS "Other" fee of €19.56 is just bonkers, the same price as the actual items.

Accu when I complained basically said, tough we don't care about customs and VAT and that's an issue for the carrier and you. Well with that said I cannot recommend this company to anyone who lives outside the UK. Never again will order from them as without a transparent delivery partner who knows what UPS will bill under the mysterious "Other" category.

In response to the Accu message below, yes I have a UPS account and no they don't provide a breakdown. It's fine Accu I just won't order from you again, enjoy Brexit!

These guys are the best broadband providers in Ireland. Lovely staff who are very good at their job. Highly recommend above anyone else they are superior.

Very few good courier companies but UPS are near the bottom and for such a large company with near unlimited resources it's even more frustrating. Their website never works, I mean it never works to ship packages with a business account.

Oh and calling their "customer care" I'd prefer to talk with the devil himself, painful!

One is too much of a star for this company, they are terrible. They are the worst to deal with, their customer support are brain dead and they app is painful, full of bugs and when trying to resolve you loop back into the endless pain of their braindead customer support.

Paid for 1 month to watch the Olympics, thankful didn't signup for any longer. 4 days after the Olympics ended and they've removed the icon link from the website and phone app and now it's not possible to browse by sport anymore. The reason I paid for the subscription!

I've had nothing but good experiences with Screwfix.ie what I really like is that if you have a problem you can return/exchange/refund at your local store. I have had problems with the courier company they use in Ireland, but Screwfix always worked to resolve. Good experience to date, great website and easy to find and search for things.

Excellent service, excellent sign-up process, just great. After dealing with competitors for years who are awful, Digiweb is a breath of fresh air and brilliant to deal with. I recommend them as they are a lone star in being an awesome telecom company.

Brain dead customer service, so brain dead I suspected it was an AI bot, bot unfortunately they're human. Have been contacting customer service about about air miles not applied from my order, 20 emails later I'm still no where. Gift arrived fine and on time, but 3 months later still no air miles.
