The penstemons I bought last year from a different company unfortunately didn't flourish. So I dug them up and replaced them with plants bought from RHS. The new ones are doing really well, and are already now happily blooming.

I needed replacement cushions for a vintage Ercol armchair. Some places were quoting silly money. I contacted Foam4U and sent my rough measurements. I then had a phone conversation with Sales who asked what kind of firmness I wanted, then quoted me a good price. I sent off the cushions covers so they could do pinpoint accurate measuring. Once they'd measured up they gave me an amended price - to my immense surprise, it was lower than their original rough estimate. I really wasn't expecting that level of honesty. When the cushions were returned a couple of weeks later, they fitted perfectly. And they had translated my firmness requirments exactly right. Bliss! In short, I had excellent service from these guys, and would heartily recommend.

I used MoneySupermarket after an outrageous renewal quote from my current insurers. Really easy process to enter my information. They gave me some great prices and suggestions on how to tweak the policy to get better ones. I ended up paying slightly less than my current policy - result!

I was recently looking for a new coffee table, and found a great one on Swyft. It seemed to be a real bargain - real wood, beautiful design, and a surprisingly cheap price. I ordered it, and was astonished when they arranged delivery for only a couple of days later. It arrived on time, well-packed. It's actually better than I could have dreamed. Great quality, and looking even better than it did online. If I'd seen it in someone's home, I'd assume it cost at least double what I paid. Brilliant product, brilliant service.

I mistakenly ordered the wrong size of light shade. First Choice provided excellent customer service. They were happy for me to return it, so I sent the wrong one back and ordered the correct size. Delivery was very fast. And - to my great surprise - the refund came through very quickly (many companies take an age to issue refunds). The light shade is great - and a brilliant price, too.

I bought a number of plants recently for a newly created border. Crocus offered a very good selection, and I thought the price was very competitive. It saved me a lot of time traipsing around garden centres hoping they would have what I wanted. The time and hassle that would have involved more than covered the postage cost. They are now well established and thriving, so the quality of the plants has been proved to my satisfaction. I'd have no hesitation buying from Crocus again.
