I would like to know how they obtained my email as i've never subscribed to their SPAM.

Keep pesting me for a payment, rang them up, they wanted my personal information even though i provided reference number. Refused to mention what payment is for, kept demanding my personal information threw out the call. When purchasing item on ebay no fees were mentioned prior to payment.

As a trader I've no choice but to use this 'platform'. Every add must be done manually to verify greenlight, when you edit the add you have to redo greenlight every time manually otherwise it goes away.

This is a perfect example of cons when it comes to monopoly, which DD holds on Irish market. Lazy, outdated and greedy. The site hasn't been updated in decades, it's full of bugs.

A lot of traders after selling vehicles don't delete their adds and leave them as active, it floods the platform with trash. Donedeal doesn't take actions as these vendors are too profitable to touch.

They offer scrap value or 10% of vehicles value, you will get more with a breaker yard. They way they conduct themselves is also very unprofessional to say the least.

Edit: it is not fake, you replied to my google review confirming our interaction previously. You contacted me on 3 different occasions when I had cars for sale sending a message with a link form to fill out.

Been a long term customer, whatever happened to the platform lately isn't good. Orders being cancelled without notification. Unprofessional to say the least.

PS while talking to the agent online (Andreas Muller) when I asked why the order was cancelled, he simply ignored me and left the chat. When I rang German support number I got the answer to my question and agent was very professional, so im going to edit this review accordingly from 1 to 3 star

As a small dealer I noticed a heavy decline in DD effectiveness over the last 3 years and rapid/insane price hike. Barely getting any calls threw it, only useful option is SPOTLIGHT and it costs a lot. DD is an ideal example of monopoly in the market.

If you do use DD, make sure you have a separate phone for it. Scammers will drive you insane otherwise. They use DD platform in order to source phone numbers.

Do not create account, they had a bad breach and it's still going on. I'm getting log on requests that I did not do.

Fast shipping, good prices. Great attention to detail, got wrong product shipped, seller corrected the mistake within 24h before I noticed it myself. Rare proffesionalism these days, great to see.

Waited a month for a spring compressor that was promised within 2-3 working days, rang them and was told it will be another month maybe more as system showed incorrectly in stock while they were actually out. Explained that we needed it a month ago, to which the agent said he will just cancel the order and refund me. Without my approval. Bravo

I was overcharged last 4 months 169 euro instead of 50 allocated budget. Google is being beyond difficult to contact, written forms, they all get ignored by bots. We are currently down 600 euro and can't retrieve it. If you have any campaigns with them, check your billing daily. Or better, don't use them at all.

I worked my neck off and had perfect 5 star score for first 2 years.
3 months ago was contacted by annonymous contact offering fake google reviews, I explained that we rather have less but genuine reviews. The other party said I will regret it.
Shortly after I started getting fake reviews, either no context, poorly worded, or vague. No names matched any of my bookings, dates, car registrations, NOTHING.
I sent essays to Google using every possible tool, 0 results, 0 feedback. My reported reviews are just 'pending', for months, while my family run business is suffering. Our budget with Google adwords was 190 euro per month, I know it isn't much, but we at least hoped for decency.
DO NOT REGISTER ON GOOGLE MAP, it is a tool of the past, you will see many businesses leaving this mess of a platform, for a very good reason. Scammers thrive here, and google loves it or simply ignores it.

Absolute mess. Was expecting a parcel on Tue, never came. Rang them, said Wed, never came. Landed on Thursday, one parcel was ok the second one containing a repair panel for a vehicle was creased. It happened in transit as seller sent me pictures of panel before sending, a very reputable seller. Dpd couldn't explain why they were late. Poor delivery driver seems to hate his life.

As a small dealer spend 100 euro plus weekly on donedeal. They like to populate my ads with fake information like expired nct etc, sometimes they remove my ads without letting me know first. Ever since they were allowed to buy Adverts.ie they lost all competition and turned from being bad to nightmare. I really wish there were other alternatives except for dodgy FB market, but due to DD's allowed monopoly it looks like we are stuck with this money rocket company.

They rang me 3 months ago and promised great phone reception and superb mobile broadband. Well, my phone reception was constantly between 1 bar and 0, I would answer a call and it would drop 5 sec after. This is a business account mind you. 100 calls back and forth, no change. Tried to cancel the service and they told me there will be a cancelation fee despite them failing to provide service I am paying for. And don't even get me started on 0.5mb broadband and Indian 'tech' support.

When porting over to other network I gave 2 weeks notice, when porting over they canceled my request. I had no phone for 3 days, quite tricky when you are running a car garage.

I have reset my 365 pin 20 times lately. This company is hopeless, I'm giving up. Indian call centre makes it even worse as I simply don't understand them lads, at all. I was with BOI for 18 years and it's time to change!

You will see them desperately advertising asking potential buyer if he is getting robbed by mechanic.

You can purchase their product and let them rob you instead as it's overpriced low function scanner, or just buy launch or autel device and not waste your time.

A good company will never advertise so desperately like Carly, and there's a reason behind it.
