Efficient and thorough
Efficient and thorough - have reached out re medical conditions to ensure treatment is safe and effective and very responsive to queries - also good value in comparison to others I’ve looked at

Hopeless!.
Have a business account for our small charity. I have spent hours on the phone trying to sort out problems with our debit card. When using it for online payments it is refused each time - no one at Virgin Money seems able to resolve the issue despite many, many phone calls.
Response below is laughable 🤣 I’ve already spent hours on the phone and it seems beyond anyone to resolve the problem 🙄

Tried to return a parcel - chose to drop off at a locker - followed instructions and printed off a label but In Post Locker would not accept it. Very frustrating.

Booked a cottage through VRBO - charged me £50 admin fee - this was not made clear on website and is charged separately on my credit card - turns out I could have booked direct and saved the admin fee and not sure what I get for this fee.

Less than one Star
The Fridge Freezer was rescheduled for delivery today and guess what? They cancelled again after ringing to say they were 30mins away 🙄
Apparently the delivery team are not trained in heavy lifting.
I advise you not to order anything bigger than a kettle for delivery!
Very poor service - ordered a fridge freezer for delivery - agreed delivery date in two weeks between 7am and 6pm which was due to arrive today.
Despite speaking to driver at 5pm it never turned up.
Had to go to online chat for explanation. Apparently could not be delivered as was not marked as a heavy item (unsure how it was on a van without knowing this).
I now need to wait 72 hours before I can rearrange delivery. So having wasted a day and rearranged my kitchen to fit it in no offer of compensation just lots of apologies- very poor.

Poorly packaged plants had been rattling around in an oversized box so were unsurprisingly badly damaged on arrival - very disappointing- time will tell if they survive. I’ve had plants delivered from other suppliers arrive in much better packaging so no excuse really.
Won’t be ordering from them again.

Terrible online shopping
Ordered for Christmas in plenty of time - had to chase up for tracking number by phone (long wait) but was given wrong tracking number. Was assured it was posted and eventually showed as despatched online. Received it today missing the main item which was a gift. Note in package says it was included.
Have had to phone again and now been told they will have left it out as out of stock. This was my daughters main Christmas gift and it’s xmas eve tomorrow-thanks Clinique!
Have agreed to refund and send free gift - given the ‘free gifts’ I was asked to choose at checkout were not in the box either I’ll not hold my breath.
Hugely disappointing

I actually switched from Scottish Power in Dec 2014 after months of being unable to get an accurate bill. Today I get a letter to say they are finally closing my account and refunding the credit balance which I had decided to write off as I could not bear to speak to their incompetent customer services again.
This must be a record - over three years to close an account.
Good riddance to you SP - I will not be taking up your offer of returning to you..........

Sent two parcels beginning Sept - neither were received - have been trying to make a claim for one as I had taken out their insurance option as was of some value. Their claims process has been nothing but obstructive -
I need to have proof of collection - they had scanned it and supposedly 'tracked' it to delivery on their system but insisted I provide a copy of the card - fortunately I had kept it so was able to do so.
I need proof it was not received - it's difficult to prove that something did not happen when you are not the person at the delivery end, however after more to-ing and fro-ing it turned out a screenshot of a txt from the recipient saying they did not receive the parcel sufficed - as evidence goes I'm unsure why that is more acceptable than a statement from me.
And next they want proof of value - fair enough - I provide a written receipt from the shop where I bought the item paid in cash - not good enough - they want a receipt - I advise them this IS a receipt - they want a 'screenshot' of the transaction - a screenshot of what, I paid cash? - they are now saying I am out of time to claim.
The whole process has take far too much time and effort and they have been nothing but obstructive trying to find ways of not paying up.
I won't be using them again.

Signed up to Scottish power in July - yet to receive a bill.
They have not set up my account correctly - I have a two rate electricity meter but cannot enter readings online due to them only having a single rate meter registered and I am unable to enter gas reading either.
They continue to send me reminders to submit meter readings. My online account also says my next bill is due sept 2015!
Have phoned repeatedly, given readings over the phone, had issue raised as a complaint twice and still no joy.
Their 'customer service centre' is a joke - you need the patience of Job to get through to someone and then they seem unable to resolve the issue.
It would also seem that you can only involve the Ombudsman if SP give you a letter saying they have been unable to resolve your complaint - given that they don't reply this is unlikely to happen - so begs the question as to what use the Ombudsman actually is. If the comments on this site are not enough for them to take some action against this company then what is??
Absolute shambles!!
To continue the saga ......
I switched to eon in Dec 2014 as I couldn't bear to deal with SP any longer.
They have since been unable to close my electricity account - this month I received an estimated bill (even though they are no longer supplying the property) after endless time on hold to customer services they assured me that they would close the account and not send any further bills.
Just received another estimated bill today!
Even better the two estimated bills differ by £100 even though are dated only a few days apart - they appear to just pluck figures from thin air.
Another 40 mins on the phone tonight to be told yet again that they will put the account on hold and then close it manually ...............
