Can't trust them

2 years ago I received a large parcel which I accepted thinking it was either for next door ( we always get stuff for them ) or my husband, as it was his birthday that day. After putting my glasses on I realised that it was for neither. The address was completely wrong. I contacted Hermes who were not interested, I even tried to locate the house which didn't seem to exist so il leafletted several houses in that road. No result. Hermes still not interested, and the delivery driver who I saw several days later in our road, just laughed and said that if it wasn't claimed, I could keep the goods ! !
I now have a very expensive professional steam Iron which I feel guilty about and is still in its box ! I will NEVER use them myself now because of their horrendous attitude.
I now hear that they have lost a very precious painting that had been painted by my friends recently deceased mother. Lost somewhere in their 'hub' .........horrendous company 😤

Fantastic service

This company is the only one in the UK to stock the item I required. Previously I have had to bring it back from the states with me and it is extremely hard to get over there too. The service was very prompt and I was kept up to date with the delivery. It was also extremely well packed so my bottle was safe. I will use you again. Thanks. The bottle of Papas Pilar Rum will be a lovely surprise for my husbands 60th as he doesn't know yet that we can now buy it over here from you guys.

Rubbish Service

My parcel was coming from Germany to UK. I followed its progress via the wonderful looking tracking service. No indication when I set out this morning that it was 'out for delivery' so i went out. On my return, there was a note through my door with option box to have left it with my neighbour ( both sides were in all day ) but it asked me to pick it up from an ACCESS POINT from 5pm ( no clue as to where this was, looked on line, and I had a choice of 6 ) 3 hours later I had an email from the sender to say that UPS had notified them that the parcel was ready for collection at the ' access point ' HOORAY, they even gave me the address of the ACCESS POINT, (which was more than UPS had done). So I went out in the cold only to find that my parcel was NOT there and the shop were still waiting for UPS to deliver that day ! so I returned home and sat on the phone for ages listening to stupid electronic voices and pressing endless option numbers to try to speak to a human being and have a rant, only to eventually get another electronic voice telling me that the parcel had arrived at the ACCESS POINT 3 minutes earlier ! Naturally, I telephoned the poor shop owner to check, and it had, so I had to go out again into the cold.
WHY with all today's electronic advancements do they get things so wrong ? I can only surmise that the people operating the gadgets are idiots and don't realise that when you log in as having done something it registers a time you do it. WHY LIE ? It causes so much inconvenience for so many people ( judging by the other complaints )
I was lucky, and did get my parcel, but I will certainly avoid ordering from anyone who uses UPS in the future...I feel a lot better now I have had my say ! Thanks !
