I have just had a McVities Gold bar and could not believe the small size
I would now class them as bite size or miniature

I have just about had it with# Mcvities. They are really taking the P out of their consumers. Every one of there products have shrunk in size while the prices have gone up by ridiculous amounts. There’s absolutely no reason apart from Profit Margins.

5 milk chocolate individually wrapped slices. Overpackaged con. Inside the wrapper is a cardboard tray 17*9*2 cm = 306cm3, giving an illusion of bulk However each of the 5 slices is 6*2.5*1.5 cm so the total volume is 112 cm3. The whole pack is thus 63% empty space. The taste is nothing special either.

I recently bought a packet of Jaffa Cakes, a favourite of mine since childhood. I was bitterly disappointed to find that they had shrunk in size and the once-generous filling under the chocolate was now dry and tasteless. I will never buy this product again.

These look nice.. but actually very disappointing.. the taste and texture not nice as for the caramel.. think they forgot to put it in ..picture very misleading.. the picture with the caramel oozing out convince me to buy

Jaffa cakes are no longer jaffa cakes. They don't really taste of anything anymore. Texture is also non-existent - described on packet 'crackly chocolate', this is untrue, due to chocolate layer now being too thin. Sponge is not what I would describe as sponge and produces a load of excess orange powder that sits at the bottom of the clear plastic packaging. Plain weird and off putting. Can no longer eat them after decades. It's amazing how many traditional trusted products in the UK used for decades have now been ruined when there was nothing wrong with them to begin with.

Blimey what have you done to the digestive biscuit. We loved a digestive not any more tastes like sweetener and as for dunking ? Used them as a biscuit base for a key lime totally ruined it 😒. Sorry McVitie what happened to that crunchy tasty biscuits superior price for budget flavour.

McVitie's Chocolate Shortbread is a disaster. The shortbread is dry and tasteless, lacking the rich, buttery flavor and crumbly texture it should have. It's topped with a meager layer of cheap, waxy, overly sweet, artificial-tasting chocolate. The texture is a horrible clash of dry and waxy. This poorly executed product should be pulled from shelves immediately; it's not fit for consumption.

Dear McVitie's,

I am writing to express my deep shock and disappointment at what I feel is a misleading and unfair practice regarding your chocolate biscuit products. It’s incredibly disheartening to see major companies like yours presenting what appears to be good value for money, only for customers to discover that the packaging contains significantly fewer biscuits — nearly a third less — all while prices continue to rise.

This feels like a deliberate attempt to mislead loyal customers, and quite frankly, it's unacceptable. In my view, this borders on fraudulent behavior, and I sincerely hope this is not something regulatory bodies like Ofcom are turning a blind eye to.

I believe companies should be held accountable for this kind of practice, and I urge you to reconsider both your pricing and your packaging transparency going forward.

Dark chocolate digestives used to be delicious. They are actually revolting now. Taste and feel as though they’ve been made with bamboo fibre. I hadn’t had one for years and thought I’d treat myself to a pack- couldn’t even eat one biscuit, so revolting were they. Why change the recipe? Oh yes, less sugar, etc etc. If McVities were genuinely concerned for our health they wouldn’t make the damn things. They’re now relying on the fact that all of us oldies will eventually die out and no one will remember that they ever tasted any different…And that they were bigger…. And had thicker chocolate (despite what they say)...And that they had the perfect blend of sweet and salty.
Sweet cardboard is probably best description now. Such a disappointment

Signature Caramel Chocolate Rounds - I tried these after the tv advertising. McVities were a brand from childhood I trusted. These biscuits are very poor. First thing you notice is the small size about a third smaller than other ‘chocolate round’ biscuits. 2nd is the taste - An intense synthetic vanilla flavour hits you followed by a strong saltiness. Disgusting!

Love Mcvites chocolate digestives but would realy love for them to create a coffee one like chocolate latte ,nobody seems yo do a coffee biscuit.

TV Advert totally misleading! Biscuits made to look big, in fact about the size of a 50p. Also do not melt in the mouth. Quite hard to bite into and nothing like the advert oozing caramel. Waste of money!

What you doing with your biscuits. all of them on par with aldi and lidl, no I think there's are nicer I mean lidl and aldi and we'll over 2 pound cheaper in some cases, your greed will price you out of market, and lack of chocolate and sizing well!...... start packing your bags guys your outta here, I have dated review but it's the last 12 month not just one instance, oh my lord I am turning into a key board warrior

Totally Pathetic. New Signature biscuits with Caramel are a WASTE OF MONEY. Barely bigger than a 50p, packet is full of air for £2 (Morrisons). Massive disappointment, don’t waste your time.

I’ve always bought McVities biscuits as you always get a quality product. Decided to try the white chocolate digestives. The biscuit size has been reduced, the chocolate covering was very thin and in areas none existent. Not the usual standard from McVities. I will continue to purchase the other varieties but not this one. Sorry but I feel like I have wasted my money this time round.

Michis's Victoria assaulted on the worst biscuits I have ever tasted. Not like the old ones from years ago planned tasteless full of bad ingredients like high fructose corn syrup – no butter – really appalling. Shrinkflation as well.
The orange cream biscuits are not what they used to be. These are real rubbish. The packaging is the only thing that's printed well but belies the rubbish inside.
