I've been dealing with Feather as an insurance broker since I first arrived in Germany in late 2019. I've never had a bad experience - the interactions are professional and positive, solutions-focused. The products they discuss are relevant. The web-based interaction can solve most of my issues, but when it can't, a person is available easily and quickly.

Today I had an informative conversation with Clémence. First of all she spoke perfect English. And she explained in a detailed way what would best apply to my situation. In addition I received a summary of our conversation as well as all helpful links I might need.
Feather is certainly a great option when it comes to bridging a short period. As a healthy person, even long-term might be the way forward.
Unlike other insurance companies, Feather leaves it totally up to you if and/or when you join. Carefully read the coverage details and you know what you get.

Extremely professional and efficient. Got all my questions answered quickly and thoroughly, application process was seamless and simple, and the price was very fair.

I did some damage to a fireplace in Spain. When I made the claim, it took weeks for them to respond to the claim. I submitted photos and other documents. I got an email asking me very direct questions that were aimed to find fault on my part for the damage. I mean, liability insurance is designed to cover the other party if I did something wrong…right? But the questioning was, and I could tell, designed to find me at complete fault in order for them to say, that the policy won’t cover the claim. Bottom line was this. I didn’t mean to damage the fireplace but I did. Feather refused the claim and I was out +6000 euros. I ended up paying the lady for the damage. It took feather more than 6months to deny the claim. Scam of an insurance.

I had the great pleasure of having a Skype meeting with Eva Hohn. The reason for the call was that I needed long term travel insurance. Eva is a great communicator and explained things really clearly, no question I asked went unanswered( in detail). She is super friendly and made sure that I understood the product that I was buying well. Absolutely fantastic customer service, highly knowledgeable, and a total lifesaver as I needed the insurance asap.!

Just a spamy 'insurance' company which even can't ptovide an information about how the actual health insurance company called. They only provide general vague information and no infornation at all about assisstance.
