Sehr gute Auswahl, faire Preise, schneller Versand.

Versand hat einen Tag länger gedauert als angekündigt (8 Werktage) war aber somit noch absolut im Rahmen. Dann war der PC auch schnell da. Läuft sehr gut & problemlos, ich bin absolut zufrieden. Der Preis war mehr als fair.

Fruugo kann eigentlich nichts dafür, aber der Verkäufer hat die Ware für Wochen nicht versendet, und dann erst auf meine Nachfrage behauptet, sie sei "verloren gegangen". Dabei war die Sendung nie im System. Dadurch habe ich mehrere Wochen durch sinnlose Wartezeit verloren.

Das Geld habe ich problemlos wiederbekommen. Mein Dank an Fruugo zumindest dafür.

Update: Der Support sagt das Kettenblatt lässt sich nicht tauschen, da es sonst zu Beschädigungen kommt. Fazit: Wer Touren fahren will, Finger weg vom Grand Canyon (30z) und Pathlite (32z).

Zunächst möchte ich anmerken, dass die Bikes von Canyon großartig sind, vor allem für den Preis. Ich habe vor Jahren ein Grand Canyon 5 ausprobiert, und hatte sofort das Gefühl, dass dieses leichtgängige und super ausgewogene Bike irgendwie "hungrig" ist und Geschwindigkeit braucht.

Auch bei der neuen Version des Grand Canyon 5 ist das der Fall. Darüber hinaus sieht es super aus, ist nicht zu schwer und wirkt sehr wertig.

Allerdings habe ich auch einige Vorbehalte. Zunächst habe ich insgesamt 60€ für die Verpackung (20€) und den Versand (40€) bezahlt, und dann kam das Paket offen an, weil auf der stark belasteten Unterseite nur sieben einzelne Klebstoffstreifen angebracht waren. Einer der Trageriemen war eingerissen, also nicht sehr stabil. Zum Glück hat kein Teil gefehlt und es gab keine Beschädigungen.

Der Zusammenbau ist eigentlich einfach, gestaltet sich aufgrund der unzureichenden Anleitung aber unnötig umständlich. Die Bilder sind manchmal von ganz anderen Teilen als beim Grand Canyon 5 (selbes gilt für das Video) und es fehlen Details in der Anleitung oder sind unklar. Ich konnte das Fahrrad letztendlich schon zusammenbauen, aber nicht ohne extra Nachforschungen.

Mein größter Kritikpunkt ist zum Teil persönlicher Natur, da bin ich nicht sicher wie andere Fahrer das sehen. Aber das Grand Canyon 5 kommt mit einem einzigen vorderen Zahnrad mit 30 Zähnen daher. Kombiniert mit der Kassette mit 12 Zahnrädern ergeben sich zwar immerhin trotzdem 12 Gänge, diese sind allerdings extrem leicht...

Ausgehend von einem durchschnittlichen Mountainbike mit 22-32-42 Zähnen vorne, und 11-32 Zähnen hinten, ergibt sich bei 29" Rädern und einer Trittfrequenz von 60 pro Minute eine Mindestgeschwindigkeit von 5,7 km/h (22 x 32) und eine Maximalgeschwindigkeit von 31,8 km/h (42 x 11).

Das Grand Canyon 5 hat 30 Zähne vorne und 10-51 hinten. Daraus ergeben sich mindestens 4,9 km/h (30 x 51) und höchstens 24,9 km/h (30 x 10). Der leichteste Gang ist somit leichter als üblich, und ich bin unsicher ob ich diesen jemals verwenden könnte, denn das würde schon eine wirklich gehörige Steigung erfordern. Gleichzeitig ist der schwerste Gang um 6,9 km/h langsamer. Ich fahre gerne bei relativ gemütlicher Trittfrequenz etwa 30 km/h, und das ist bei herkömmlichen Rädern, auch bei sehr günstigen, problemlos möglich. Mit dem Grand Canyon 5 geht das aber nicht. Es ist somit meiner Ansicht nach für Touren nur bedingt geeignet. Dazu wäre ein Zahnrad von 36 Zähnen (=5,9-30 km/h) oder mehr nötig. Da Shimano in der M6100-Garnitur nur 32 anbietet, muss ich auf einen Nachbau ausweichen. Zumindest sollte das größere Zahnrad platztechnisch passen.

Paket soll importiert werden, Rechnung fehlt, laut Website wurde der Empfänger (ich) benachrichtigt. Ist aber nicht passiert. Um Support zu bekommen musste ich aufwändig einen Account erstellen, konnte aber immer noch keine Rechnung einsenden. Habe also darum gebeten, mich die Rechnung einschicken zu lassen, zurück kam ein völlig nutzloser Hinweis auf das Paket-Tracking.

UPS ist der mit Abstand schlechteste Versanddienstleister in Österreich. Hände weg.

Works well. Prices are low and it works on PC, Smartphone and even just on browsers as a Plug-In. Use it to unblock for streaming and even Netflix downloading, and to mess with data collectors. Connections are fast. Smartphone auto-connect is sometimes a bit annoying if you switch on and off a lot, but still manageable.

Ich war auf der Suche nach einem neuen Iaito für regelmäßiges Training. Zuerst war ich positiv überrascht, als ich die Katanamart-Seite entdeckt habe. Die Auswahl ist großartig, die Preise sind absolut fair und die Beschreibungen der Schwerter sind ausreichend, um sich ein passendes auszusuchen (Länge Griff/Klinge, Gewicht, Krümmung). Auch der kostenlose Versand hat mir gut gefallen.

Also habe ich mir ein Iaito ausgesucht und bestellt. So weit, so gut. Zuerst einmal ist nichts passiert. Bestellt hatte ich am 25.05.2019. Eine Woche darauf, am 03.06.2019 habe ich dann eine Anfrage gesendet wann mein Schwert denn nun versendet wird. Die Antwort kam am nächsten Morgen, und es hieß "demnächst". Tatsächlich erfolgte der Versand noch am Nachmittag. Zufall? Vielleicht.

Das Schwert kam dann auch am 06.05.2019 bei mir an und ich war zuerst überrascht von der Qualität des Stücks. Insgesamt war ich recht überzeugt - nichts hat geklappert, alles saß fest, die Griffwicklung war solide und regelmäßig, und das Schwert super ausbalanciert. Leider saß der Habaki aber ein wenig schief, was mir bei jedem Ziehen & Einstecken die Mündung der Schwertscheide beschädigt hätte. Da das Schwert für ebensolche Übungen gedacht war, und nicht nur zur Zierde, habe ich mich entschieden es zurückzuschicken.

Ich habe also eine Anfrage per Website-Kontaktformular gestellt und meinen Widerruf angekündigt - noch am Tag des Erhalts - doch es kam keine Antwort. Wenige Tage später, am 11.05.2019, habe ich meine Anfrage per E-Mail wiederholt, mit einer Bitte um Bestätigung. Ich hatte sogar angeboten, das Schwert selbstständig zurückzusenden (PayPal hätte mir den Rückversand ersetzt). Wieder kam jedoch keine Antwort! Also habe ich das Schwert wieder verpackt und am 14.06.2019 zurückgesendet. Außerdem eine weitere E-Mail, jeweils auf Deutsch und auf Englisch, mit der Paketnummer und der Aufforderung, mein Geld zurückzubuchen. Diesmal kam eine Antwort, im Sinne von "wir werden uns die Ware ansehen und wenn sie in Ordnung ist, das Geld zurückbuchen".

Am 20.06.2019 hat die Firma mein Paket erhalten. Am 25.06.2019 lag mein Widerruf 14 Tage zurück, laut gängigem EU-Recht hätte der Verkäufer hier das Geld bereits rückbuchen müssen. Ich hatte aber nach wie vor nichts erhalten. Auf weitere Rückfrage hieß es, man würde "mal mit den Kollegen schauen...".

Ich habe dem Händler nun eine Frist von 7 Tagen gesetzt. Danach werde ich entweder meine Zahlung rückbuchen lassen oder ich schalte einen Anwalt ein.

Fazit:
Ich denke die angebotene Ware hat durchaus keine schlechte Qualität, obwohl ich keinen Härte-Test durchgeführt habe. Mein Eindruck von dem Schwert insgesamt war recht gut, aber der Service ist katastrophal. Die AGB der Website besagen man müsse "den Widerruf spätestens 3 Tage nach Erhalt der Ware ankündigen". Dies entspricht nicht dem gültigen EU-Recht, laut welchem der Käufer 14 Tage Widerrufsrecht hat. Die AGB sind somit gesetzlich unzulässig! Und genau so verhält sich auch der Kundenservice.

Update: Ich habe eine Erstattung über PayPal bekommen, die jedoch nach der Ankündigung wiederum insgesamt zwei Wochen (!!) in Anspruch genommen hat. Per E-Mail wurde mir mitgeteilt, ich solle das Vorgehen doch bitte entschuldigen, denn es sei "nicht Standard". Was auch immer das heißen mag.

If you have some money idling around, and you'd like it to work for you, Bondora is a great way to invest funds and let them grow passively. The site offers two ways of investing.

The first method is based on contributing to small loans, so-called P2P (peer-to-peer) loans, which you can choose from a list according to their country of origin, duration, risk factor and payout. You can set up an automatic investment system, that will, for example (variable values in brackets): put [1€] into every new loan from [Estonia], with a duration of [6 months or less] and a [low] risk factor. This way you can set up your desired range of loans and specify how much money should be put in, and the system will keep investing for you, netting you about 8-12% interest p.a., depending on the safety/risk equation of the loans. Practically all low to medium risk loans are paid back eventually, even though sometimes it can take a few extra weeks to months. The payout with this model is overall excellent, and will vary from low to high depending on your choice of risk (higher risk = more interest). The liquidity with this mode of investing is very low, because you need to wait for your money to be paid back before you can access it.

The second model is called "Go & Grow", and is based on a very simple principle. You invest money with Bondora, they handle all the loan stuff, give you a flat interest of 6.75% p.a. and keep your money liquid at all times. In case you want to withdraw any funds, you will have to pay a flat sum of 1€ per transaction, which, in my opinion, is at the very low end of the spectrum of transaction costs. Seeing that the risk is very low as you don't directly depend on any loans, and your money is perfectly liquid, the payout is quite high in comparison.

To summarize: I have compared quite a few investment options, from crowdfunding to stocks, and Bondora definitely comes out on top, offering two investment models: one with high yield, some risk and low liquidity, one with moderate yield, practically no risk, and high liquidity. Therefore, I am convinced that most investors will find a business model that they like on Bondora, and that will make their money work for them.

One caveat: If you need your funds to be liquid from the get-go, make sure to verify your bank account before making a deposit, because you will need to have a verified account before you can withdraw funds from Bondora.

For a long time, it was quite unclear why the Kickstarter-project for Apricoat was such a turbulent one. Only after quite a while was it revealed that there were major troubles with some people on the team, who had caused mayhem for the whole brand. Ever since these people have been removed, and more reliable folks have taken over the brand, things are constantly improving.

I personally have been quite distraught throughout the campaign, and at some point stopped caring about receiving a jacket at all. When I did receive it, however, I was quite surprised at the sheer quality and ingenuity of the thing.


The Apricoat is an athletically cut, beautifully streamlined and functionally unique jacket, the likes of which I have never seen before. But let me elaborate on each point.

With the jacket being relatively long, people with an athletic physique will feel their stature especially complimented. The extended length of the Apricoat helps keep the wind out, and your behind dry. Furthermore, the material stretches and fits your size to an extent, so it will fit most people, regardless of whether they're in shape or not.

While the Apricoat boasts a broad range of functions, such as the extensive amount of intelligently distributed pockets or the integrated gloves, it doesn't compromise on the design part. In fact, I would describe it as considerably elegant, and personally, I am happy to wear it even on more important occasions or when I intend to make a good impression on people. The relaxed, stone grey tone of my jacket is beautifully accentuated by the red and black accessories, and on the inside the dark grey fleece lining poses an intriguing contrast to the remaining color palette. I have the Apricoat in grey, but from the pictures I get the impression that the other colors are also great choices.

Finally, the usefulness for outdoor and everyday application of the Apricoat cannot be disputed. First off, the differential weight distribution of the numerous pockets does its job splendidly, making it feel like you're only lightly loaded, even if you carry a lot of things in your jacket (and the pocket capacity of the Apricoat is truly extensive). The water resistance is excellent for the price range, and the wind resistance is perfect, partially owing to the dimensions of the jacket, as well as the integrated gloves. The gloves themselves are hidden from plain sight if unused and do a great job at keeping the warmth in and the wind out, even if you don't put them on. The hood embodies everything you could want from a functional jacket: it's large enough to protect from wind, snow and rain, but can be fitted well enough so it will move with your head instead of obstructing your vision. Concerning warmth retention, the Apricoat is definitely better than any other hardshell I've ever owned. I can't quite vouch for the effectivity of the aluminium layer, because heat loss by radiation becomes really pronounced only in extensively cold climates, and I've faced maybe -5°C with the Apricoat, where, however, combined with a thin thermofleece jacket it did it's job remarkably well!

Downsides of the Apricoat are maybe that it's a bit heavier than other hardshells, and also not as easy to stuff in your pocket as a backup jacket. I'm not sure about the fleece lining, because on one side it makes the jacket great if it's the only layer, but on the other hand it compromises breathability and is unnecessary when combining the Apricoat with fleece or down. Since I'm using the Apricoat in everyday life, I welcome the soft fleece lining. Also, don't expect much from the "integrated" neck pillow, it's basically just an inflatable pillow that you can stuff inside the hood, which makes no sense, since you can just bring the thing separately if you need one.


Positive:
+ sleek, elegant design and cut
+ attractive color palette
+ numerous versatile, well-distributed pockets
+ integrated gloves that protect from wind
+ excellent heat retention even on its own (for a hardshell)
+ waterproof (tested in moderate to heavy rain)
+ robust zippers

Neutral:
~ fleece lining (soft, but impacts breathability)
~ neck pillow (it's just your average inflatable neck pillow)

Negative:
- heavier than other hardshells
- harder to stuff in your bag as a backup jacket
- Kickstarter troubles, which are now being resolved owing to hard work from a small but dedicated part of the team

All in all I'd say that the Apricoat is a great jacket for mild to moderate adventuring application, and it's a ridiculously perfect jacket for urban, everyday use. It's elegant enough to wear even in a business setting, functional enough to reliably protect you from bad weather and full of pockets that come in handy on different occasions. I've really enjoyed mine for the last few months, and it's become my go-to jacket for everyday use.

Ich kenne keinen anderen Anbieter mit so einer großen Auswahl an hochwertigen Teesorten, der noch dazu die passenden Detailbeschreibungen bietet. Wenn man sich ein bisschen einliest findet man schnell heraus welcher Tee sich für einen eignet.

Die Tees haben eine wahnsinnig hohe Qualität, was man gleich nach Öffnen der Packungen am Geruch erkennt. Die Verpackungen selbst sind wirklich ansprechend gestaltet und eignen sich gut zur Langzeit-Lagerung. Sunday führt regelmäßig im eigenen Labor Pestizid-Tests durch, um den Bio-Standard nochmals zu zertifizieren - ein großes Lob dafür! Auch der Versand ist schnell und günstig.

Bei mir gibt's nur mehr Tees von Sunday.de. Ich habe bisher bestimmt 8 Tees gekostet, und nicht alle waren mein Geschmack, aber man hat bei jedem Tee gemerkt, dass er sehr hochwertig ist.
