I really love the overall experience and options. However, as with any AI, there are limitations when working either heavily compressed footage. Pros: clears blur, options for different settings... See more

I downloaded Topaz Photo and subscribed to the Web Studio in order to partially automate the retouching of old photos. The Photo bundle was an extremely lengthy and hefty download and upon its installation I found out that de-dusting function is inseparable from a very intrusive retouching protocol. In the Web Studio, too, I found that Retouching offers no controls for selective use of de-dusting; the resulting images were forcibly colorized. The resulting photos from both products were overworked and unrealistic, unusable for my project. I applied for – and received – a refund for both products.
You are very expensive. I will burn through credits quickly using Starlight.
I would have liked to have subscribed to Topaz Photo, but my PC would not support it, so I subscribed to Topaz Web Image. I was trying to enhance a lot of scans of old B/W phots that had a number of people's faces in them. Most of the packaged workflows would do a horrible jobs trying to enhance faces. I found that Wonder 3.5 did the best job of enhancing photos mostly without affecting faces. Generative Restore also did a decent job on enhancing these photos. It would be nice to be able to turn off face enhancements in your work flows. Not changing faces is my biggest concern. On another note, when I enhanced my older B/W photos, I would often naturally find scratches and spots in the photos. I found that if I would ask Chat GPT to remove the scratches/spots, it did a remarkable job in removing them and in making the photos much cleaner and sharper. This is something that you might look into. Overall I am very pleased with the product and feel that it is a great value. Thank you.
Overall great results, iris preset is interesting on closed shots but no so good on blury far shots cause it tends to draw faces, add makeup the result is fake not realistic.

The product does NOT work as described. The photo quality on a very mildly out-of-focus photo was terrible. It actually looked worse. They charge hundreds of dollars for something that doesn't work, and they don't even give access to a mobile app. The refund window is only 2 days, which turns out to only be 1 day if you purchase late in the day. The fact that their return policy is so shady tells me they know the product is garbage. If they actually believed in their own product, they would not lock someone in before they've even had a chance to try it. I contacted customer service, and they were useless. They did not care. I truly think a class action suit is in order.
Excellent denoise app with detail persevere very good
I learned how to properly used the upscaling tools, till now Wonder3.5 is the most neutral Upscaler, very original!
This is great upscaling software. Does exactly what it's promoted to do.
Topaz Video AI produced an excellent result when restoring an old family video transferred from VHS. The original recording had low resolution, visible image degradation and several defects, but the final enhanced video is noticeably cleaner, sharper and more pleasant to watch. The program even processed a problematic section that had caused errors in other software, while keeping the audio correctly synchronized.
Processing was extremely demanding and took more than two days, but for an important and irreplaceable family recording, the final quality justified the wait. Topaz Video AI is an impressive restoration tool, and I am very satisfied with the result.

I tried all the API KEY and AI apps, the only one that works great is TOPAZ.

The processing results are at least as good as before the subscription version. However the new subscription version is expensive and extremely slow in processing time.

I love Starlight 2.6 but too bad it doesn’t keep the original soundtrack. Once that’s fixed, it’s a 5 stars!

Topaz has phenomenal options for sharpening, even if the focus was off in-camera, and they have really remarkable upscaling of smaller images. I haven’t finished exploring the options, but my concern is that the lighting and color adjustments suggested by the AI seem to be the same no matter the existing lighting. It would be remarkable if Topaz’s AI technology assessed each image and made unique adjustment recommendations based on each individual photo rather than offering the same application for each photo processed.
Topaz lets me participate in the exciting development and usage of tools to restore my favorite pictures and movie clips in a natural way. So Topaz does not only upscale pixels, it upgrades my life of a hobby photographer and facebook friend. And if there are any problems you are helped quickly and competently.
