I used this service to create videos from photos. The variety was of models was sufficient and the site works fine. So why 3*?! Because I cancelled it in Marxh and July noticed they continued to char... See more

Reply from the customer service was very fast, Jack helped me a lot to solve my problem with a refund issue!

Takes your money and then puts you in a credit system. Couldn’t even make one short 30sec video and out of credit. Waste of two hours as the AI did random stuff that it went sideways on and didn’t stick to the brief and falsely advertised one month when you run out of credits before one video is made. Truthfully made my night SUCK. Very saddened and completely frustrated.
To many fees only for a 7 minutes video and it not finish
They charge you for getting in. then they charge you for creating a video. It took over 3.5 hours and almost 100 us dollars and it was not completed and they wanted more money. On top of that I could not delete my credit card. To long, to expensive and now my credit card is a slave. I would not recommend this site.

Great admiration for the minds who adapted ai to the film/TV production industry…an astonishing achievement that revolutionizes how pictures and sound are created to tell various forms of stories. Entire segments of the production industry will be reduced in size. Large legacy production facilities will disappear because their revenues won’t be large enough to support their fixed costs. OpenArt’s Customer Support is ridiculously responsive and friendly. This company is a threat to any other companf
They made an exception to their policy
They made an exception to their limited refund policy for me. I really needed a refund to a subscription auto renewal that I couldn't afford at all. Their policy says they don't do refunds for such scenarios, but they made an exception for me.
I've been using OpenArt for the past 13 months …
I've been using OpenArt for the past two years, and it has consistently been one of the most versatile AI creative platforms I've worked with. What started as an excellent AI image generation tool has evolved into a complete creative ecosystem for images, videos, editing, and VFX. One of its biggest strengths is the ability to access multiple state-of-the-art AI models from a single interface, making it easy to experiment and choose the best model for different creative needs. The platform continues to innovate with features like OpenArt Director for conversational AI filmmaking, Smart Shot for automatically planning cinematic sequences, AI VFX for background replacement and scene transformation, powerful image editing, character consistency, image-to-video generation, upscaling, outpainting, and an ever-growing collection of creative AI tools. As someone working professionally in AI-driven advertising and visual storytelling, I appreciate how frequently OpenArt introduces meaningful updates and integrates the latest AI models instead of relying on a single engine. The workflow is intuitive, generation quality is consistently impressive, and the platform keeps expanding with features that genuinely help creators produce professional-grade content faster. Whether you're an artist, designer, filmmaker, or content creator, OpenArt has become an indispensable creative companion that continues to push the boundaries of what's possible with generative AI.

I had problems with subscription and everything is done in very short time. Thank you Ivan for help and beat regards!
Currently really poor experience (but is being rectified)
Currently really poor experience. So far I have tried two projects and I signed up for advanced plan to help with it. So far the output has been poor and costly.
The way the credits disappear is alarmingly quick. I have topped up with 3 further credit packs all of which exceeded the quantity which I was told I needed to complete so work and now I have to consider whether I do a 4th pack although there are still huge mistakes on both which are not being rectified without cost even though the requests have been made clear.
So far help has been minimal. I would seriously think twice on joining or using.
21/7/26 Update on the above. I was contacted following my first review and speaking to the team they have acknowledged a majority of the issues i have experienced and have currently come up with a solution. Based on this I have changed the star rating and gone up. Whilst there is some work to be done and results to be seen, I will however acknowledge how quickly the team reacted to my post, reviewed my issues and have come back with a solution which I hope will be much more positive.
Whilst I wont be able to give this a 5 star review I will be prepared to give it something more favorable as they have not ignored my issues and are dealing with it very quickly at the moment. Hopefully the next update will be an even better result.

I had a very frustrating experience…
I had a very frustrating experience with OpenArt. I was charged for a subscription I didn’t intend to keep, and when I requested a refund, I was given a hard time instead of receiving any meaningful help.
The cancellation process is also incredibly frustrating. You have to click through what feels like endless confirmation screens asking, “Are you sure you want to cancel?” over and over again. It feels like the process is intentionally designed to make canceling as difficult as possible.
A company should make it just as easy to cancel a subscription as it is to sign up. Between the poor customer service, refusal to issue a refund, and the unnecessarily complicated cancellation process, I can’t recommend OpenArt. I expected a much better experience.

Decent quality, good support, orchestration needs work
I was torn on how to rate them, so going with 3 stars, as there are some ups and downs and those being influenced by these reviews deserve honesty.
Pricing is not completely transparent on the pricing and plans page - so be aware that using their Director Studio will cost anywhere from 60 to 300+ credits PER second of generated video.
The quality of the video generated in one of three shots generated was great, looked realistic and great cinematic look! The quality of another was a bit less cinematic and the third shot wasn't super realistic looking.
The actual AI orchestration needs some work though. For instance, one shot was essentially a 15 second still frame, with only the last 2 seconds actually containing a usable clip (so 3,450 credits for a single image).
However, their customer support has been really great and really helpful! They responded pretty timely and offered a complete refund when I cancelled my subscription.
For reference, I'm a film and television director, member of a national director's guild, and have 20+ years experience in software development.

One of the best AI platforms..
I really like how quick and easy this platform is when it comes to using AI. I sometimes need to create multiple videos with same characters and they always keep it consistent. Also good price for the credits you are getting!
i paid for Infinite plan SCAM
i paid for Infinite plan with 24k credits. i used director to make music video to a song i did that was important for me to say bye to my dad. after 2 hours going through everything getting to the end it then hits the nail in the coffin as said i need 49.9k more credits just to make a music video that's less than 4 minutes long. that works to be over £110 for one music video. it's a joke and a rip off. AVOID THEY MONEY GRAB YOU

OpenArt Truly Supports and Empowers Creators
My experience with OpenArt has been outstanding from the very beginning. The platform is constantly introducing innovative features that make creating high quality AI content faster, easier, and more enjoyable. It is clear that the team is focused on building tools that help creators push their creativity further.
One of the highlights of my journey has been being accepted into the Signature Tier OpenArtist Program. It genuinely made me feel that OpenArt values its creators and recognizes the work they put into the community. The support, opportunities, and continuous improvements have been amazing.
What I appreciate the most is that OpenArt is always evolving and staying ahead with new AI capabilities instead of standing still. It feels like a platform that is helping shape the future of AI creativity while listening to its users.
If you are looking for an AI platform that combines innovation, creator support, and powerful creative tools, I highly recommend OpenArt. It has become an important part of my creative workflow, and I am excited to see what they build next.
Hello,
Hello,
Your system is unbelievably unreliable. For just three builds, I've been charged around 14,000 - 15,000 credits, and for the last build which I've been struggling with for hours it keeps asking for more and more credits despite barely making any meaningful progress.
So far, I've spent over 15,000 credits on a single build, which is completely absurd.
The system constantly freezes, crashes, and tells me to click "Continue." Then it stops working altogether, and when I refresh the page, it starts from the beginning, wasting even more credits.
This is absolutely unacceptable.

Do not use the Vibe directing prompt
Do not use the Vibe directing prompt. It’s set up to take your money. The Ai model constantly makes mistakes and charges you for every one of them. They will tell you a video will cost 600 credits and 2000 will disappear in hidden charges. None of the tier systems are honest about what they can produce for the cost. Extremely disappointed. It’s literally like gambling and the house always wins.

I have been using Open Art AI for over…
I have been using Open Art AI for over a year. I use it professionally in publishing. I am almost certain that I have only tapped the surface of what it can do. I wish I could explain to you how well it locks characters, and I can finally have the same character in different, as well as progressive scenes. It locks character sheets or a single reference image, but if you need all sides to stay the same, a character sheet is the way to go. Using @image1, @image2, and so on, locks your character in the prompt, which sometimes simply gets the best job than including a long, complex prompt. I use both. You can keep the same image and change one thing or several things, and keep whatever you want to lock onto. There was and is some trial and error, but if they keep this up, there will be many more uses and very few problems as the technology progresses. I was at the basic, stepped up to advanced, then pulled the trigger and bought the yearly plan pretty quickly. I have tried so many different platforms, but this one does it all and does it the best. Keep up the good work.
