The ordering and payment process can’t be faulted, nor how quickly I was notified that the product could be collected. What a shame then, that the product wasn’t checked before handing it over to me.... See more

Dreadful experience at Aldermans Green…
Dreadful experience at Aldermans Green in Coventry. Only 1 person for click & collect.. 40 minutes to collect? They bring out the wrong order then they bring mine… so confused these guy’s. It’s like they want to cause a scene due to their incompetence.. no wonder there are signs up stating bad behaviour will not be tolerated.. the bad behaviour is your staff! This is absolutely disgusting!

I was so disappointed not getting my order before I tried again and couldn’t have asked for more from the customer service representatives from the Range they kept me fully updated and confirmed I would get my order which I have my sister picked it up for me. I haven’t seen it yet but should it be the quality of my previous order of this I will be absolutely delighted. Thank you to all at the range who ensured I got my order this time.
Ordering was easy
Ordering was easy, free delivery was great and it arrived on time. Very happy with my purchase too. Would recommend.

Where do I start
Where do I start? Customer service is abysmal. Can't actually speak to a human, no phone number & can't even email about a complaint. Quick enough to take money but have to wait for a refund. There's even a Facebook page about how bad The Range is. Was returning a faulty item, they had several on the shelf, every single one of them was damaged in some way. How any member of staff was allowed to put the items out for sale is beyond me, the Autumnal Encased Friends Light is what I'm talking about.
I won't be using the online service again
Firstly, one item on my order was click and collect although, when I went to collect it the store didn't have it! Then, after over 2 weeks the second part of my order arrived in a busted box. I had to take time and go to the store again to return the soggy parcel and was advised that I would only be refunded for the items in the box and I should contact customer services about the missing items if I would like refunded for them?
Very poor!
Absolute waste of my time
Absolute waste of my time. The entrance door didn’t even work. That was my first sign of the absolute shambles I was walking into. I had already made my order online the day before so I thought how bad could it be.
I soon realised it could be very bad when I immediately had to start shuffling past people already queuing to join the back of the queue.
It did give me somewhat of entertainment watching the confusion of every customer that came through the exit door after us think what on earth is going on here.
I proceeded to wait in the very long queue to realise out of about 10 tills only 1 was being operated.
After a painfully long 10 minutes or so went by I finally got to the till.
This is when I realised how bad it could be.
I told the woman on the till I’m here to pick up an order I made yesterday. She looked at me like I spoke a foreign language. And proceeded to touch her headset and whisper things I couldn’t understand like she was an MI5 agent.
I quickly realised she couldn’t be an MI5 agent as the organisation of the store couldn’t be linked to a secret service organisation or I think the uk would have major problems on their hands.
She told me to stand aside and someone would be with me in 2 minutes.
After about 5 minutes I spotted another member of staff coming towards us. The second member of staff I’d seen since I walked into the store.
Ahhh the MI5 call worked. The calvary has arrived I thought. Only for her to smile at me and start operating the till opposite the original till.
We had now been waiting in the queue for around 10 minutes. And stood to the side for another 10 minutes. I started to think I was actually part of the stock and I was ready to be sold and taken home.
The original MI5 agent then told us it will be another 5 minutes. And that there’s only 1 person who could deal with us and get us our order.
Another 10 minutes went by. And there was no longer any other customers in the queue.
To which they had a little mother’s meeting. And then looked at us in amazement we were still stood there waiting. I too was amazed I was still stood there waiting. One of them turned around and started rummaging behind the original MI5 agents desk whilst another one watched.
They pulled out a phone kind of device and asked me for my order number. I gave it to them and thought this is it. Which it was. She quickly vanished into the distance going the wrong way through the backwards maze.
A few minutes later she appeared carrying my order!
Hallelujah I thought. I even had a little choir playing in my head getting louder the closer she got to me.
All in all this could’ve been solved by the original MI5 agent as the device was behind her desk. And the second woman could’ve bought it to the till with her.
All in all an absolute diabolical experience.

My experience with The Range was good
My experience with The Range was good, because they offer a wide variety of products, which are good value for money, they kept me informed throughout the delivery process, and they're a trustworthy company.

Rude and disrespectful staff
I went to collect an order which I had my invoice and it was in-stock at this store in Gateshead. They didn't have it and I asked why? I was then shouted at and humiliated by a female member of staff, because I should have a QR code?
She was 30 feet away and was very discourteous, stroppy and rude.
I complained to another member of staff about her attitude and behaviour and I was told to contact customer service, which I am doing.
