In agreement with most comments here, DHL are a joke. Their lackluster, lazy and semi-lucrative European Express option is a farce. It cost me close to 75 euro for a small sized delivery from Austria to here. Originally the tracking stated delivery by end of next day, however when that deadline was missed, the tracking was literally changed by exactly 24hrs. A total joke. Took screenshots to complain and it wasn't taken seriously at all. Even when the package arrived in Ireland, the driver said he couldn't find the address (was clearly labelled, eircode and all) and had to collect at post office. As it was the Friday of a Bank Holiday weekend, the tracking changed to the Tuesday. I had to ring DHL Express to essentially plead with them to make the delivery available for collection that day or Saturday. Customer service deemed it acceptable for a 5 day turnaround on a premium courier service, and after much near begging, eventually was able to collect at post office. Their lack of accountability and sheer flippant attitude was aggravating. Business owners should really consider reevaluating the BS this company sells. Less time creating pretty websites and maybe more investment in customer satisfaction and actionable delivery times as advertised.

Absolutely the worst Delivery service Ever!! Sat in all day and they Never Rang my phone or buzzer for delivery but said delivery was attempted.
Shocking Service

The worst postal experience ever, from start until (still not) finish, the service has been terrible.

To start I dropped a high value package in to my local collection point to send for repairs. Label was scanned and I recieved the email stating DHL were on the case. 2 days later I was on the same post office and was told my package was still there. Rang customer service gave my way number but was told it was never scanned. After talking to a manager they found my case and took another day to collect the package. On the return leg to me I have now had 4 missed deliveries. After raising a formal complaint I have been told it is getting scanned but driver has been taking it back off the van. Saturday delivery was kindly arranged with the manager saying it will be with me.....nope. pulling my hair out with this!!!

I was at home waiting for my parcel all day. DHL marked the shipment as "Delivery attempted but no response at Consignee address", but nobody called my phone and nobody rang my doorbell/intercom.

The delivery attempt recorded in the tracking information does not reflect what actually happened. I stayed at home specifically to receive this parcel and was extremely disappointed to see a failed delivery status without any contact from the driver.

Poor communication and poor customer service. I expect DHL to investigate this matter and ensure that deliveries are actually attempted before updating the tracking status.

Ordered a phone got it days late dumped on the door step it was not opened it was sent back could not put work or personal items on it after it being Mia now seller is refusing to refund as they claim it’s broken and there delaying another package I had on the way in German with no explanation for days police have been contacted …just got told by an extremely rude man it would be here next week which by that time I’ll be out of the return period costing me over €1000

Their customer service is not there for the customers.

Ordered a phone online for 170 quid they delivered to wrong address and who ever they handed it to signed for it now i cant get hold of anyone to sort this out 170quid gone and cant get any help from them pure useless

Fantastic service from DHL AS USUAL. A lovely woman delivers to us and she’s always really nice . great to have a company you can rely and trust and a great delivery driver aswell. 5*****

The courier was very polite and gave eye contact and addressed me by my christian name.
I ordered my product from Italy, in just 2 days it arrived promptly at 10.32 this morning, all present and correct.

I have to say DHL
customer service is absolutely great to deal with. Agents always so helpful and polite. Considering so many other delivery companies don’t have a contact phone number it’s great to deal with an Irish Human agent.

Can’t stand such blatant lies. Was in the house all day, by the window in the living room overlooking the cul de sac we live in. Called customer service after online status claimed driver wasn’t able to access premises makes absolutely zero sense (undated cul de sac made up of semi-detached houses). They claimed that driver isn’t responding and that I’ll have to wait till Monday for delivery.

I will never advise anyone to use DHL , they will collect parcel and charge posting ,customs and charge extra custom to the receiver , and the customs they will charge will be more that the price of the goods

Horrible customer service. Feels like I was speaking with machine. Guy kept on saying ANYTHING ELSE CAN I HELP WITH quickly answered my question and during our 3 minute conversation he asked me about 5 times ANYTHING ELSE CAN I HELP WITH. Yees! Listen to the questions first and stop asking like machine.

I have paid £48 for a secure delivery of my passport from the UK. To day I have found the passport left on the door step unprotected, for any passers-by to take it. I can only give u 1 out of 10 for a very poor service.

Terrible and deeply frustrating experience. My fertility blood test was meant to be collected on the same day, yet it simply wasn’t. I called multiple times and was repeatedly assured that it would be picked up that day, but no collection ever took place. In the end, I had no choice but to travel to Dublin Airport and deliver the sample in person myself. This caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience during what is already a sensitive process.

Slowest courier of them all! If i'm buying something and DHL is the courier I will avoid buying, thats how bad they are.
